My review is going towards the lady who works at the front. Earlier this week, I arrived to a class 1 minute after it had started and she would not let me into the class. Yoga is a place to go and destress, instead she argued with me about how I should have called to say I was going to be late and that she could not let me in... I explained to her that I was a teacher that drove in 25 minutes of traffic to be there. I had just got out of parent conferences and really needed that yoga class that day but she refused. I do not get many off days after school so l lost my chance at yoga that day. I have been going here on and off and have never had this issue. I love the classes and instructors but this was a very negative experience to walk away from a yoga studio, for one single minute.

Very nice people however the restorative is more of a sleep session. I know how to sleep, don’t need help with.
Nice people thought and I’m sure their intentions are good.

What a sweet little studio! I visited BTC for the first time this week and took a vinyasa flow class with Allison. I’ve been practicing yoga off and on for the last 13 years and we did postures I’ve never done before in her class. I walked out feeling grateful that there’s always something new to learn in yoga. The studio space is comfortable, the students were all friendly (a reflection of the studio’s values) and the mats available for use are grippy and high quality. I especially loved the little kitchen in the back with tea, and someone’s harvested lemons sitting in a basket for all to grab! I wish I lived in Irvine full time, as I would return here over and over.

I love the variety of classes and timings suit my schedule like therapeutic, beginner and all levels flow. All of the teachers have amazing talents. I suggest you mix it up and go to various ones to get the different benefits from each. They have great supplies to barrow if you forget any at home. The most unexpected relief and change came in my body after taking Amanda's Roll and Restore class Saturdays. She teaches you have to use a rubber ball and a yoga block, to open your facia. I became so much more aware of my body and my healing went 10x faster. The knee pain never came back because now I understand that it is from my tight hips and other muscles. I never need massages anymore either. I save so much$ healing myself with rubber balls. I also taught my mom what I learned in this class and it got rid of her 8 mos struggle with PT trying to rid of "frozen shoulder." Jonah's sound bath with singing bowls is also one of my most transforming classes because it makes my mind stay quiet and stay in the moment. Its a special experience and he is very talented.

This is my first experience with a yoga studio. Everyone is great. I almost don’t want to put a great review so the classes don’t get packed! Haha. Not selfish, so, I’ll say love this place. I would use words like non-judgemental, kind, knowledgeable, and even the studio is very nice, great vibe. Is it standard to say namaste at the end of these reviews? 😉

Neat yoga studio that also offers Livestream classes. I signed up for the trial and did my best to attend a variety of class types and yoga instructors. I would have gone on to the monthly membership but I knew the commute wouldn't make sense. The Livestream classes are great, and they take feedback well. I prefer to do yoga in person though and am looking at places closer to me. If I lived in the area, I would be more inclined to go here. Interactions with the front desk and instructors have been friendly and informative!

Great yoga studio . Offers a good variety of classes throughout the day . Each class I’ve taken has been great . It can get packed so first timers arrive early . Notice that the kundalini and reiki classes are very popular so heads up. I personally enjoy the therapeutic classes with Ashley . She had helped assist my healing a lot ! Great place

BTC has changed my life. I did the 200hr YTT, and I plan on enrolling in the 300hr Ayurveda training next. BTC is true to yoga’s roots, this is no wishy-washy westernized studio, ITS THE REAL DEAL. You get what you pay for; a real education. The classes are wonderful too, my daughter does the kids yoga while I take a level 1 class. I also take level 1/2 classes regularly, and I feel the quality of teachers at this studio, is bar-none. I had to stop attending other studios because I felt they were teaching unsafe movements and transitions, incorrect postures, and they seldom focused on breath. Don’t sell yourself shirt, take REAL YOGA at Be the Change, and change your life!!

First time trying Yoga, this place is fantastic! Several beginers classes to choose from. Unlimited classes each month, feeling stonger after only 2 classes, coming back today!

Great teachers, great experience. Compared to many other OC-based yoga studios, this one's donation-based with a suggested donation of about $10-$15, just to keep the electricity going. However, that suggested donation does come down based on your frequency. Love that.

Great place to check out some pre-natal yoga. They work on a "donation" basis so you can decide how much you want to contribute.

Finding the right yoga studio can be hard and I am so excited to have found a studio that feels like home to me. Be The Change Yoga strikes the right balance between spiritual and physical practice. Katie and Allison have created a truly welcoming space and all the classes I've taken have had great teachers. You have to check out this yoga studio.
