I can’t say enough great things about Beach Fitness or my trainer, Niko. He’s deeply knowledgeable, motivating, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed. One of the things I appreciate most is how he tailors every workout to how my body is feeling that day. If I’m dealing with an injury or can’t safely do a certain movement, Niko immediately adjusts the workout so it’s still impactful — never painful, never harmful. His ability to challenge you while keeping you safe is truly exceptional.
Beach Fitness itself feels like home. The atmosphere is friendly, supportive, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. It’s not just a gym, it’s a family. The people here cheer you on, and the environment makes you want to keep showing up.
I also love that the gym is so involved in the community. They give back, they participate, and they create connections that stretch beyond fitness.

I LOVE Beach Fitness! Been a member of many gyms, but this one is just really special. Trainers are SUPER experienced and there is a really sense of family with staff and members. I love that things don't expire so I can fit it in my schedule. Personally, I do the ELDOA class on Wednesdays and love it. Looking forward to trying out more classes, including outdoor training on the beach!

Bryce (Co-Owner/Founder of Beach Fitness) took me (a young, otherwise healthy, prior track/baseball athlete, 28y/o male) from being in extreme agony (constant pain walking, standing, sitting, basically doing anything) due to a severe 7mm L4-L5 Disc Herniation suffered / provoked while skiing in Late Feb 2024, to being in minimal pain by April, feeling mostly better by May, back to light exercising by June/July, then progressing to more complete movements / activities in August, and now I am happy to report I am back to skiing with confidence and fitter than I have been in the last 7 years.
Time was a major contributing factor in the healing / recovery process; however, after even our very first session I walked out of Beach Fitness with my gait markedly improved and my pain level down several notches. Bryce gave me the tools to deal with my pain and strengthen my body in a way that kept my disc herniation from flaring up again.
I move better, I feel better, I have more energy, I understand so much more, and it all was put into motion by practicing the program developed by Bryce and incorporating knowledge from our conversations into my daily life. His knowledge of ELDOA, posture, body/movement mechanics, fitness, nutrition, recovery, etc. is vast and worth every penny. He was also willing to work with me on a session schedule and timeline that made sense, never trying to upsell me or push anything on me that didn't seem necessary.
As I progressed, I would leave each session with Bryce feeling better and better, not only physically, but also mentally as I took home information from the session and knew I had support along the way. As I got better and in person session became less frequent, the check-in texts I would receive from Bryce were him going above and beyond, demonstrating his commitment and care for his clients. Additionally when at the facility, I would regularly notice that for patrons working with his other staff it also seemed like coming to Beach Fitness was also the highlight of their day.
I am excited to continue on in my path to becoming truly athletic and fit again, undoing several years of abuse by disuse on my body, and keep Beach Fitness in the picture while doing so. They have a variety of small group fitness & ELDOA classes, one-on-one personal training, open gym hours, nutrition coaching and more all under one roof and I cannot recommend Bryce and his team enough.
Do yourself a favor and reach out to Beach Fitness and crush those 2025 goals and beyond.

After COVID I didn’t think at 63 I’d do box jumps again - but because of BF and its amazing trainers I AM!!! BF cares about helping me stay fit they provide resources and support for my well-being. I have often said this is "the happiest place on earth were everyone knows my name". Beach Fitness is a special place because of its people and the community it creates

I've been going to beach Fitness for over 15 years, so yes, I'm a big fan. The trainers are excellent. Unlike other gyms I've been to where the trainer is busy chatting with other members or checking his phone, Beach Fitness trainers are focused on you and your goals. I've been recuperating from a pretty bad injury and credit the quality training for getting me back to 100%.

I love Beach Fitness! I've been coming here for years, it's a great place to work out and you can bring your kids to the Beachfit Moms classes. There are weekend beach bootcamps too. It's a blend of cardio and weights and is always a great workout.

I have been to Beach Fitness several times now for several different injuries acquired from surfing and swimming.(shoulders and back)
I have worked with Bryce each time, and to say I am impressed with his knowledge and understanding of the body is an understatement.
I go in with a problem, I leave with a solution... what more could you ask for!?
Definitely consider seeing Bryce and his team before going in for surgery or signing off on more pain meds, these people know what's up!

I’ve been doing personal training w barb for about 6 mos now and not only am I thrilled with how my body looks and has morphed - I have decreased back and joint pain, better balance, and have loads more energy. I thought I could do it on my own but this experience has shown me the value in a trainer like barb w her knowledge, corrections, and encouragement during the workouts that have made the exercises I do more profitable and efficient. This is such a cute gym in Seal Beach! They’ve got their stuff together. They have so many group classes to choose from which is great for me because I can still receive coaching from a great personal trainer for only about $17 per class versus private training which costs $60 or more per hour. They do offer private training if you are interested :)
So far I’ve gone to the strength X classes and the rep X class. Loved them both. I’ve had Barb and Ashley as my instructors so far. Both ladies are great personal trainers who are knowledgeable and motivating.

All the staff and management have and continue to seek advanced degrees and certifications- incredibly knowledgeable- many having their own specialties who want to share their knowledge. Mostly though, the staff and the clients share a zest and happiness that you will NEVER find at another gym. And NO, I DON'T WORK THERE OR HAVE ANY AFFILIATION.

I've been working out and getting treatment at Beach Fitness for about eight years. I've primarily done personal training but have also done nutritional counseling, body work, and taken some group fitness classes.
Beach Fitness' team has a higher level of continuing education and personal touch than what I've experienced at other fitness centers and that has made a big difference for me in the following areas:
1. Through Barbara Lands' fitness coaching, I lost 25 pounds in 2013 and kept it off until a major surgery in early 2019. After the surgery, I gained 15 pounds and wasn't able to take it back off until Barbara re-motivated me and put me back on a different fitness plan.
2. I used to have tremendously debilitating, intermittent lower back pain. Through my work with many different members of the Beach Fitness team, I haven't had a back pain episode in nearly a decade.
3. I'm 45 and enjoy playing sports like softball, tennis, jogging, etc. I get injured less often and recover more quickly from minor injuries now than I did in my mid 30s.
4. Overall, I just feel better and have more energy to enjoy life, stay active, perform well at work and keep up with my kids.
