Strength training at BHP focuses on long term goals while delivering immediate results. With older and injured clients we take extra care and precautions to ensure your safety. We start with evaluation and identify root causes - not just symptoms - and guide you step by step.

I've been working with Lala for the past year and a half, and she has really helped me to get on a path towards healing my injuries, having better alignment, and having a more attuned relationship with my body.

I chose Belmont Hills Pilates because I was interested in the approach that Lala described on her website integrating corrective exercise with Pilates and personal training.

Now my hip and knee pain are almost gone and I have improved my snow skiing and mountain biking. I look forward to going every week as I am seeing good results.

Lala is an excellent trainer. I worked with her weekly in Pilates and personal training for 12 years. She helped me recover from scoliosis and surgery. By working with her I gained and maintain strength, flexibility and stamina so I can do everything I want to. That includes hill hiking regularly 5 miles and international travel. Lala is the best, always encouraging, challenging and so knowledgeable.

I started training with Lala 6 years ago after an injury. Lala worked with me to gently build my strength around my injury, and within a few months my pain was so much improved. She is a very intuitive and thoughtful trainer. She always listens to my limits, yet pushes me when it's safe.
After several years, we now work together over Zoom. Every week I get a new, customized workout, and I do things I never thought were possible with my injuries. I sail competitively and that puts a huge strain on my body. It's great knowing Lala is always there to help put me back together again. I highly recommend her for Pilates and personal training.

I took over 25 Pilates sessions with Lala. She is very focused on proper form and alignment. She varies the workouts and had new moves for me at every session. If I showed her my chiropractor's orders, she put that into our workout. I always felt accomplished and comfortably sore at the end of our workout. She is knowledgeable and fun to work out with. I don't live near her anymore and miss our workouts.
