Annie is our absolute favorite! We have worked with her for a number of years and we would follow her anywhere. We really enjoy Dana also - she is very good at explaining the moves and she’s lovely. Thank you for your help and dedication to our health!

No caigan !

I have been a member since the State Street studio has opened. Attending 3 times a week in Galina’s 1.5 class has helped me keep in fit shape. She is an exceptional teacher.

I signed up for a few classes and they were fine. But, my complain is about the unauthorized monthly charges they withdraw from my bank account. I called several times to resolve the issue and there has not been any answer from anyone in this business. After several voice mails for the last 6 months. I am still waiting for a phone call and my refund.

Love BASI SD for so many reasons! Your membership works at all the studios around San Diego, the instructors travel between them so there’s consistency between studios, the BASI reformers are so nice, and the instructors are amazing! Each instructor is different, so there are plenty of options for you to find the instructor who best fits with your goals. Argelia, Annie, Kristy, Yadi, Galina…they’re all great!

The best Pilates studio in San Diego hands down!! After my second baby (and second c section) I really wanted to rebuild my core and get strong again. In the last few months, I have made such progress and feel so strong and confident. The studios are wonderful, the classes are amazing and the instructors are the best. Everyone is so supportive and it is truly a wonderful community. Don’t hesitate and sign up for classes today!!

I live in Temecula so I take Pilates classes there 4 to 5 times a week and I take classes here in San Diego 2 to 3 times a week. I love Annie’s class because she is the only one that can really kick my behind😜 she is so well knowledgeable and her class is always exciting, never boring; and she can she really push you to your limit which is what I’m looking for🙏🥰

Beautiful studio and We found incredible Instructors ( Kalinka and Galina) . They were phenomenal with tailoring exercises that were very helpful for my husband’s hip arthritis. Brad the owner was very kind and so thoughtful ( he had a champagne toast in celebration of our marriage during our San Diego trip )
I can recommend enough .

I was coming to this studio pre-pandemic, before it was BASI. When that studio closed during the pandemic, I was bummed as I live downtown and so enjoyed the classes and instructors. Imagine my delight when it reopened as BASI - and better than ever! All new equipment, not to mention the best reformers I've used in 15 years of doing Pilates, and the instructors are incredible. I happily joined as a member and enjoy regular morning classes with Annie, Galina, and Dana. I look forward to trying other instructors - and love that the membership allows me to take classes at the other BASI locations in SD as well. All the thumbs up for BASI!

Annie at K Street Studio is exactly what I look for in an instructor. She is very calming and astute making sure that I get the most from her instruction. Her classes have the perfect balance of challenge and stress relief. I have to say her Therapeutic Stretch class is the BEST EVER. Annie is a gem of an instructor both caring and experienced with a gentle touch! I feel really fortunate to have discovered her classes here :))

Since my discharge from the Air Force, I have been an avid Pilates student. In all my years, this is the first time that I have been presented with challenges that I find rewarding, thanks to Dana Miller. It is one of the best Pilates classes I have attended and I want to recommend it to all, no matter how old you are. I believe Pilates should be a requirement for all seniors.
P.S. In January of 2022, I will hit a landmark age of 90!

This was my first time ever trying out reformer Pilates. I will say, as a professional dancer, I felt my muscles stretch in a way I’ve never felt before. Instructor Annie has a calm demeanor that is uplifting which was refreshing since I am use to highly extroverted instructors pushing me beyond my limits. This class nudged me versus pushing me to lengthen and reinforce posture and balance. I highly recommend!
