If you’re looking for a fun,challenging, group workout look no further. BFT Brea has a circuit training concept with knowledgeable coaches like Cya. She provides inspiration to push yourself while checking to assure your form is correct. The classes are a great way to meet others who have the same mindset on health. They’re set to upbeat music with large fans overhead to keep you comfortable while pushing yourself to new levels. I highly recommend BFT Brea and specifically ask for Cya and Rahki.

From the moment I walked into BFT Brea, Rakhi and Cya gave me the warmest welcome! They immediately made me feel comfortable and supported, which set the tone for my entire experience. I did an Evolt Scan, and they took the time to explain everything and put together a personalized fitness plan to help me reach my goals.
Their encouragement and guidance have been amazing! They truly care and are invested in your fitness journey. The energy in every class is incredible, the trainers and coaches are all amazing, and the community vibe is so uplifting. BFT Brea rocks! I was lucky enough to work out here last while traveling and away from my home BFT gym. Coach Cya brought the energy every single day and knows every piece of the program inside and out. She obviously pulls from her training and experience as an athlete to help each member make the most of the classes. It’s a tight engaged community, driven by the coaches who know, teach, and PUSH the members where they can. The great thing about BFT is I didn’t have to miss a beat while away and got the same heavy strength day and cardio/recovery days I would have back home. Hope I can make it back. I love this gym! I was always the person who hated working out in the same room as other people, it always made me nervous I wasn’t doing the move right and would get embarrassed. BFT totally changed my view! Every single coach and even the seasoned members would help me with form and there was never any doubt I couldn’t finish a workout.
I loved getting there and being greeted personally by the coaches. Even though they run numerous classes a day with a lot of people, they still remember your name!
I also love that they change the schedule around. I an only able to go twice a week and every class is different which I definitely appreciated.
The customer service is top notch! If I had a question, it was answered immediately.
BFT truly is a great place for beginners and people who have been working out for years!
You can’t beat the location!! Downtown Brea is perfect on any day. I loved getting a coffee a few doors down after a workout.

Love BFT! The workouts are always different and actually fun, and the coaches are super encouraging and know their stuff. It’s a great mix of strength and cardio, and I’ve felt myself getting stronger. I always go for daily walks but these classes really help me with building muscle and toning. The community vibe is awesome too—everyone’s so supportive. I’m hooked and I highly recommend!

I had a great time at BFT Brea. The gym was very modern, and it had a lot of equipment. The coaches were very friendly and welcoming. What I liked the most was that the coaches were making sure the people had a good form and were pushing them to go above their comfort zone. BFT Brea is absolutely incredible! I went in knowing very little about strength training and felt very intimidated to lift heavy since my background is mostly in cardio, but the coaches made me feel so comfortable. All of the coaches are very knowledgeable and kind while still pushing you to your potential.
Shout out especially to Coach Erwin who is an incredible coach and helped coach me through a low back injury and Coach Cya who is always so sweet and supportive.
All of the members are very kind and welcoming and the overall atmosphere is great. Such an amazing experience. Give this place a try, you won't regret it!

This place makes me willing to wake up early on weekend just for the class. It has convenient class times, I love how I can get my workout in at the end of a long workday. The evening class coaches, Coach Eric and Coach Logan, are very friendly and attentive. They will correct forms and come up with alternates if an exercise is too easy or too challenging. They also have modified workouts for me when I couldn’t perform some exercises due to medical reasons. Actually, I have been to classes at all diff time slots and never had a bad coach. I would actually wake up in the morning excited on the days I have class scheduled!

So blessed that I found BFT Brea. It has pushed my body and mind. I’m stronger and have lost weight. I was afraid of strength training but the coaches at BFT Brea are so knowledgeable and make sure we are lifting with proper posture. I highly recommend it for beginners and advanced levels.

This place is amazing. I have never been able to be consistent with going to the gym or working out anywhere and especially not at 5 AM. However, coming here, motivates me to get up and work out in an environment that is friendly and makes you feel comfortable, even if you’ve never worked out before. I’ve been doing this for seven months and I would not change it for anything. All the coaches are super helpful.

I’ve been coming to BFT for 6 months and it’s been so great! The workouts are a nice balance between strength and cardio, and you can really challenge yourself to get stronger! The coaches are all awesome and give pointers on form throughout the workout so you’re never alone. It’s so much easier to get motivated to workout after a long day at a place like this. Whooo BFT!

The Brea BFT gym is a great place to work out. The facility is nice and very clean. All the coaches do a great job working with everyone even in a group setting format. They take the time to made adjustments when needed so that every movement/exercise is maximized. All the workouts are different too which makes it more enjoyable. The coaches are all very encouraging and will push you in a positive way to be your best self. Everyone working out is also very encouraging of each other at the gym. I've been there for a few months and have seen great results.

I took various kinds of group exercise classes in the past but I dreaded going before each class. However, when I first tried BFT, it was so fun that I actually looked forward to going and working out. I suppose you can say, I got hooked. Haha. Yes, it made me so much stronger which I was very happy about but it was the fun factor that kept me going and because I kept going, I was seeing the visible result.
Also, it’s the people I got to work out with, i appreciated much too. When I had to stop going because of my cancer surgery, Rakhi put my membership on hold for me until I could come back.
Now I’m moving out of the States soon and one of the things I’ll miss from the US will be working out at BFT and the family of BFT.

Becoming a part of the BFT fam was one of the best decisions I made in 2024! After 5 years of no physical activity, I had come to a point where I really needed to get healthier and stronger. Because of its ideal location and clean facility, I decided to try them out. That first day has now become 2 months, and it has been life-changing. The diverse program works all parts of the body, and I love it because it never gets boring. Regardless of where you’re at in your fitness journey, the coaches work with you and help you. They are encouraging, fun, helpful, motivating, and take the time to correct your form, posture, etc~ which was a huge factor for me. I’m not the same person I was in October. I’m slowly getting stronger, healthier, motivated, feeling better, and waking up to workout at 6:30am… who am I?! Lol

After years of crappy workouts, I wanted to try a more structured class type gym. I’ve been doing BFT in Brea for roughly 2 months now and I couldn’t be happier. The workouts are fun, and the trainers definitely push everyone appropriately. And because they have a different classes every day of the week, it doesn’t get repetitive and boring. Everyone here is super friendly and cares about you. The coaches have always been willing to spend extra time to help us out with form. BFT Brea is not your typical gym or workout studio. I’ve been a member at over 10 private studios/gyms over the past two decades and while they all serve their purpose, BFT is distinctly different in that it serves its purpose with a variety of class types while maintaining an an incredible community with and among its members! The coaches, the owners, the members, the vendor pop ups, the outings…all of them create such a family feel and it makes you never want to miss a class! I've been a member of BFT Brea since they opened, and it's been an amazing experience from day one. I started working out here at the beginning of my pregnancy and continued through postpartum, and the support from the coaches has been incredible. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and make every workout fun.
The atmosphere is always inviting, and I truly enjoy spending time with the other members. The programming is one of the main reasons I joined and continue to stay. I love that the workouts rotate weekly, and the programs change on a 9-week basis, which really helps you progress.

I absolutely LOVE going to BFT Brea! From the moment I joined, all of the coaches were so helpful and made sure that I was part of the community. The coaches are always walking around during workouts to help out with making sure that you're doing the exercises correctly or give you that extra push that you need. I love my gym! I started in February after taking probably 15+ years off from training. My body was weak and tired, and I was so intimidated to get back at it. There’s that weird stigma about being lost in the gym and everyone staring at you, but everyone at BFT was so encouraging! The coaches are all amazing! What I actually like about this format over 1on1 private training is that I get something unique from each coaches personality. They are all able to push me in different ways. I love that I can show up, feed off the energy in the room, and get an amazing workout without having to plan anything on my own.
Now, a few months later, for the first time in years, I’m starting to enjoy being in my body. I feel my posture improving, I feel strong, and I have so much more energy. I can’t wait to see where I’m able to go, and it’s all thanks to BFT!

If you’re looking for a new gym to join that has community and challenging classes, then look no further! As a new mom I have less time, so I love the fact that the classes are short but efficient. Even though classes are only about an hour long I always walk out feeling like I got a great workout in (most times drenched in sweat lol). I also love how all the trainers are so nice and helpful in making sure you’re performing the right movements. Overall this gym is a 10/10 and would recommend to everyone!

BFT is more than just a workout, it is a community and truly life changing. The last gym I attended closed down suddenly in December 2023 and I was heart broken, something that gave me drive and a place I enjoyed going to and actually working out at closed! How would I ever find that type of place again? Then one of the girls I used to work out with tried BFT, I was skeptical and wasn’t my kind of workout, for 3 months I bounced around trying to find a “home” kickboxing, barre, CrossFit, a normal gym, Pilates, home workouts, nothing ignited my inner self and i was getting discouraged and far from consistent with my workouts.
I was hit up by my old crew to give BFT a try, so I did. I had so many hesitations for my own personal reason but the first class ( and it was a cardioU) I was hooked. The location, the trainers, the community, the classes… it just felt like home! 5 months later I love it even more than I could have ever imagined and have seen such positive changes in my body too, finally this is what I needed in my life.
This place Is like family, the motivation and encouragement you receive everyday from the coaches and peers set you up for nothing but inspiration to tackle the day. Highly recommend BFT for your everyday workout, there is something different everyday where you are constantly targeting different muscle groups, and never get bored doing the same thing.
Gosh I could go on and on, for now I say come and take a class, experience it yourself… I promise it’s like nothing else and can change your life too!!

There are many factors to consider when looking to join a gym. I’ve attended several different types of ‘group training’ type gyms, and the one thing that makes all the difference is management and staff. The character of a business is truly found in the people who bring a place to life.
I love that the owners are passionate about their business and dedicated to their health, along with the service they’re providing to the community.
The head coach is acutely skilled and refined in knowledge, performance and leadership. Which is shared amongst all coaches on staff. They all bring something valuable and unique to the table that benefits every person who walks through the door. Every coach has had a hand in helping me lose 50lbs since I first joined, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the knowledge and encouragement I’ve received from the team.
BFT has played an integral role in helping me transform my physical health. It’s a healthy and family oriented environment, with result yielding workouts that really set people up for success. BFT is the place to be!!

Passed by BFT when on a walk and decided to go in and see what it was about. I was greeted by Zach, the General Manager. He was very friendly and explained the program and offered for me to try out the class for free. I came back the next night and been coming back almost every day since! Which, was last November 2023. The coaches are attentive and truly interested in seeing you progress. Erwin, Cya, Cris, Pathu, Brian, Julian, Yvonne and Isaac are awesome. You definitely feel like family here. The workouts are challenging and rewarding. I have lost weight and gained muscle. I am happy to have stumbled on to BFT Brea!

If I could rate BFT Brea 10000 stars I would! I’ve worked out at basic gyms in the past, and previous to BFT I did group fitness for roughly 3 years. Out of all the gyms ive tried nothing compares to BFT. In the last 8 months I have seen so much change that I never knew my body was capable of doing. I had to find a new gym when the one I was going to made some changes. I’m a 5 am kind of gal and didn’t think I would find another place close to me where I felt comfortable. To my surprise there are lots of others who like to work out at 5 am too! Maybe it’s the gym, the trainers (Go Erwin!), or the community of people but I’m so happy to have found BFT in Brea. This has been a great place for me to work out. The warm ups aren’t the same and the workouts are constantly changing as well. The trainers walk around to make sure you’re doing the moves correctly and give you encouragement throughout. Thanks BFT Brea!

I never thought I would say this but I 💙BFT!! I’m not a cardio or strength work out person. My husband signed me up and I promised I would try a class. I went to my first class and it was cardio summit. I almost died but I did it and had so much encouragement from coach Pathu and coach Cya. They cheered me on the whole 50 min. All the coaches are so amazing. I love them all. At BFT, I get personal training work out and it’s all planned for you. You just show up. I love that. I am definitely stronger and I look forward to going to class. All the coaches genuinely want to see you get stronger and achieve your personal goals. If there's ever been a training facility/program to try. This is it! As a lifelong athlete, I'm not a stranger to the gym life. But as someone who took a LONG break off and being super out of shape. I knew I wanted to take the thinking out of my workouts, i wanted to go somewhere that prescribes my workout for me so i can just put my head down and put in the work in the little time i have. Their strength training foundation is a huge plus for me compared to other facilities who focuses on mainly cardio or HIIT. BFT focuses on everything! Other programs have called themselves functional fitness but BFT truly is.
I travel alot for work too and i really want to highlight BFT Brea above the other BFT studios i've visited. Coach Erwin may look like a nice guy but when the workouts starts, he'll push you to your limits (Don't get too close, he may bite). He along with the other coaches are extremely knowledgeable and helpful with whatever your goals are.
You don't need to feel intimidated when coming to BFT Brea. There are members with all skill levels and everyone is friendly and encouraging.
As far as results go, due to my work schedule, i cant workout 5-6 days/week but in the 3.5 months i've been here, i've lost 30lbs, gained 4lbs of muscle and lost 5% of my bodyfat. I can't complain, BFT works and BFT Brea is where you want to train.

I recently went in for a cardio based class and it was amazing! The coaches and staff were very friendly and I felt a real sense of camaraderie with the entire BFT family. This is by far the best group training I’ve ever done! It’s a combo of cardio and strength which gets you the best of both worlds! The owners are very involved which shows in the quality of the gym! The trainers are very elite! I highly recommend BFT brea.

I’m not a hard core worker outer so I was definitely nervous when I signed up for a class here. However, I left feeling so good and uplifted after the class! The entire class was so fun and engaging and the coaches were really nice and approachable. There were people at different levels of their own fitness goals so I never felt like I was competing or not doing well enough. The equipment was all very clean and easy to use for me. I honestly was not expecting to feel so good after attending a class but I was so surprised with the experience! Will definitely go back here and try a different class!

I love working out with all the trainers here! Everyone is super supportive — trainers and those I work out with! They are also really good about modifying the exercises to accommodate my disabilities. They have 3 trainers helping during each class so that participants get the personal attention needed to do the exercises properly. I also enjoy watching my heart rate on the TVs and working to keep it at the target levels: it’s an awesome way to apply gamification to workouts.

I have never worked out in a group class; I have always worked out one-on-one or on my own in the gym or at home, but joining BFT has changed my perspective and is one of the best decisions.
All the coaches are fantastic! Everyone always brings a great attitude and a smiley face. There are days when the workouts are tough, and you want to give up, but Coach Cya, Chris, Pathu, Julian, and Brian will not allow you to give up! I needed that motivation and support to go on.
For those reading, if you want to join a gym, look no further! This is the place!

I have never been a big group class guy until BFT. I've done personal training 1 on 1 and standard gyms on my own and I have to say it's the best experience that I've had and mixes the best of both worlds. Everyone from the trainers to my fellow classmates have been extremely welcoming. We push each other to reach new goals especially the trainers. I've mainly worked with Erwin, Brian, and Julian and I have pushed weight that I haven't in a long time because of these guys. They make class fun and challenging at the same time! I would highly recommend trying them out

I absolutely love this place! Erwin & Cya are exceptional (all the personnel here are amazing). Not only are they educating, motivating & encouraging you, they make it fun & enjoyable to train. If motivation, flexibility & a personal approach is what you're looking for in training, then this place is for you. You don't have to be good at it, you just have to do it! You have to push past your perceived limits, push past that point you thought was as far as you can go! This place did that for me & it will do it for you!

BFT has been such a come up for my partner and me. We recently both wanted to invest in ourselves, but are at much different places in our fitness paths. Luckily, BFT has a highly trained coaching staff and program that is capable of delivering for both of us in the same class! My wife always refused stepping into a 24-hour fitness, and now she is always so proud of the work she puts in at BFT. So stoked we decided to invest in ourselves and our health by choosing BFT. I have tried many gyms and this one hits different. The technology and equipment is top of the line and the semi personal training is just the right amount of motivation needed to succeed. So far my favorite coaches are Erwin and Cya. I love how they do the work with you and make for a positive vibe and high energy atmosphere. I recommend!!

BFT opened earlier this month and it honestly has already been life changing for me! The coaches and staff are super motivating, attentive, and committed to your progress. Each day is a different style of workout so it’s been awesome having the diversity everyday. Plus I now feel part of an incredible community amongst the staff and the members. My husband and I have been waiting for a gym like this! We were paying for memberships that we didn’t use because we knew we had to go, but didn’t want to. But when our son told us about BFT, we knew this was what we wanted. We get the personal trainers and professionals showing us how to workout instead of having to show up and figure it all out for ourselves. Been there, done that! At BFT we love getting to meet new people and workout with a lot of familiar faces, especially the coaches that are with us every step of the way. The workouts are super challenging, but we’re all doing them together and it’s an awesome experience. I highly recommend checking it out. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever done before.

Absolutely love my workouts at BFT! The coaches are all really attentive and helpful. Erwin and Cya have motivated me to give my all in each workout and have already taught me SO much. We’ve tried the big gyms for years, but have never been effective because we didn’t like going and didn’t want to be there. But when we discovered BFT, we knew immediately that this was what we needed! A team environment and personal trainers. While we’re pushed and challenged to grow with each session, it’s both fun and rewarding because we’re training hard alongside the familiar “teammates” we’ve met who are working just as hard or harder to be better versions of themselves, allowing us to encourage and assist one another during each workout.
Every workout is different than the one before it, but even in this intense and challenging team environment, we still enjoy a nearly one-on-one experience with the coaches, as they instruct us in each exercise (to maximize its effectiveness) and encourage and challenge us to push through the exhaustion and finish strong! We appreciate the strong leadership and energy of Erwin, Cya, Pathu, Brian, Chris, and Zac, and how each and every one of them is genuinely concerned with our safety and success, making sure we do it right and do it well.

That was honestly one of the best workouts I've ever had in a long time from a group setting. I've done a lot of these F45 and Barry and Orange theory classes, and this far surpasses all of them because it feels like you have multiple personal trainers with you. The coaching and focus on strength is what makes this better. The location is perfect in downtown Brea and the staff is passionate.

I went to my first class at BFT in Brea and it did kick my butt 😭 lol. Coach Erwin and Cya were very attentive it felt like I mattered. I felt a sense of camaraderie with everyone in the class. It was a totally different experience than when I was going to Orange Theory.

Great location in downtown Brea with tons of parking in the structure right next door. The vibe and energy inside is fun and motivating. Everything inside is brand new and CLEAN.
