I've taken Bikram yoga at different studios all over the US (Jackson Hole, New York, Baltimore, DC, Fullerton, Nashville, Austin, San Diego, Denver), this Irvine location has some of the best traditional Bikram yoga instructors. If you really want to grow in your practice go to a class by Maryam, Judy, PJ, Ali, Tiffany, Frances). Beautiful location, extremely clean, friendly staff.

The only disappointing thing about this studio is after COVID they stopped providing towels. They no longer rent mats or towels. When I travel I still continue my practice, if possible. Travelers don't usually travel with a yoga mat and towels. All other hot yoga locations I've been to around the country at least have a rental option. I don't mind paying for a rental, but a studio should at least offer the service for out of town guests.

I have taken traditional 26/2 classes in many different places around the country, and any disappointment arise, it would be the heat control in the studio. I did the 2 week trial as a new student here and my first class was not hot enough -- I barely got much sweat. While I understood it was a 55 min class and I routinely take 60 min classes, my first class was not much of a work-out as I anticipated. Secondly I was visiting out of town, I booked the class and paid for the 2 week trial without seeing the class confirmation that no mat or towel rentals were offered at the studio. If I had read the class email saying so, I might have not gone - I was glad I brought my own towels though. As a long-time yoga practitioners, spending $ on a cheap mat would not be ideal for me (that was the alternative offered at the studio), so I ended up buying a brand new mat. Lastly, filtered water was not offered at this studio FYI. The good things though: locker room is nice with electronic lock -- easy to lock up my belonging. My 2nd class at 6am was juicy hot. Kudos for making an early AM class hot, it is not easy to do! I totally understand "Bikram" is still on the name, although I felt a bit indifferent given the history of Bikram (Bikram's daughter was offering a special class in the studio, and the early AM teacher mentioned Bikram several times throughout class).

In sum, if you like traditional 26/2 -- bring your own towels and mats to the studio, and perhaps ask about where the hot spots are in the room, you would have a good visit.

Was visiting but used to live in the area. I do Bikram all over the US when I travel and Bikram Irvine is one of the nicest studios I have practiced in. First of all it is Orange County! If you don’t know the Irvine area, it is worth going. The communty and the teachers are by far the best. I would move back for this studio !

I found Bikram yoga to be fairly interesting. It is different than any other hot yoga that I have done before. The 90-minute format was perfect. I enjoyed the discipline everyone held in the class being in complete silence. Only nose breathing was interesting. I found the studio to be spotless. The bathrooms were big and pleasant. The classes were mildly heated. I took 6 classes. And only experience 3 teachers. Both Judy and Ali are helpful and easygoing teachers. Cecilia was not bad, not great. In conclusion, I enjoy the studio's 90-minute format.

I almost forgot how wonderful it feels to do hot yoga! Wonderful facility except for one issue: no drinking fountain! No matter how much water you drink in class, you will be dehydrated by the end. That's okay as long as water is available. Drinking water after a Bikram yoga class is one of the most blissful experiences...but this studio deprives us of it!
Not that big a deal, but I wish I had known in advance so I could have come prepared with a gallon jug.

I recently signed up for a two-week trial membership at Bikram in Irvine and was shocked by a serious violation of my privacy and extremely unprofessional behavior by the staff. Despite clearly stating my discomfort with having my photo taken and stored in their system, a staff member named Dayna forcibly took my photo without my consent. She just took her iPad and took a quick photo while I was talking to her about this matter. This happened after I had already attended a class previously and the manager agreed to not have my photo.
Dayna's actions were not only unprofessional but also a clear breach of privacy. She justified her actions by saying that if the DMV could take my photo, they also had the right to do so! Furthermore, after I requested to delete my photo, she claimed that she did so, only for me to later discover that she had lied. When I asked for a refund, she refused, directing me to take the matter up with a manager. I requested her full name to address this issue formally, but she wrote it on a piece of paper, then discarded it, stating she couldn’t provide her name because she didn't know me. She then disrespectfully asked me to leave because “I was not kind!”. Later, I found my photo still in their mobile app under my profile, contrary to her claims.
It is so shocking and disappointing to see such an unprofessional and entitled staff. I am a very private person. I told them if this is their policy to take my photo I quit and wouldn’t want to use their service. It wasn’t a problem in the first session. Now my privacy is violated, I have been lied to, and disrespected!
Beware if you want to use their service.

This was my first experience with Bikram Yoga and I fell in love with it. The studio is big, bright and very nice. I was only visiting Irvine for a couple of months and Bikram Yoga Irvine made it hard for me to leave. If you live nearby, try it out. It helped me get in shape and healthier than I've been in many years. I plan on making hot yoga part of my life hereon out.

I love Bikram Yoga Irvine! I live in Escondido and there are two places that I could consider going to, but both too far from where I live. Nothing here compares to Bikram Yoga Irvine. I love the cleanliness of the studio, the attentiveness of the staff, the quality of instruction, and the overall vibe. I wish that I lived closer to Irvine, but I love it enough that I may consider a once a month visit to fill my physical, emotional, and mental 'cup of tea.'

Teacher was rude, a student took a sip of water and got called out because it was not during a break, teacher acted as if the student interrupted the class, I have never been to a studio where they don't let you drink water or take breaks as everybody operates differently. Then I was in my resting pose and the teacher corrected me because my resting pose did not work for her. Im ok with the correction but attitude was very rude and condescending. Avoid Tiffany.

They had a $2 - 2 weeks unlimited promotion. When I tried to purchased it, it wouldn't let me do it online. When I called them they gave me the run around. Saying that she didn't know what I was talking about and that she would refer me to the manager. I called back 3 hours later and spoke to the same person and she said "yeah I'm not sure what u are talking about..." but as i spoke to her longer, she says "yeah a lot of people are asking about the same promotion." She then reassured me that the manager would call me back by this evening and OF COURSE I never received a call.

I have visited several Bikram yoga studies (Sacramento, Elk Grove, Claremont, New York, And Miami). Irvine has they best facilities and best instructors. They teach students yoga etiquette, proper form and discipline. Although I only been practicing consistently for 6 months, Irvine is my home studio and whenever I travel to another studio the instructors are impressed by my form and discipline and that is due to the great instructors at Irvine!

I've been coming to this studio off and on for about 2 years. I've also been to several other Bikram Studios in Orange County. This is studio is really nice and clean. The staff is so nice and friendly.
I have taken from quite a few instructors, and some are really good and some or just ok. However, I must say that one instructors stands out. Mike is by far the best instructor I have had. He really explained the positions and even showed a few of them in class. After two years, I can't believe how much I learned and improved my positions in one class by his comments and suggestions. I also feel like he really understands and explains to the class how to protect yourself from injury. I would take from Mike every time!
I would recommend this studio to everyone.
