The place needs some remodeling. The workout equipment are old. To get to the other equipment pins are a must. In order to get the pins you need to turn in some kind of ID or keys to have access to more exercise equipment. There is also a pool. The pool has some rust spots. The restrooms have no toilet seats.

Dirty, things stay broken never and get fixed. Instead of replacing the grips on a certain curl machine, they cut a actual water hose and put on the other handle! As a replacement..wow!! Mens restroom 2 outta 4 faucets dont work( for at least 2 mo). I don't even come all the time. Seems like their just waiting to be bought out or close completely. -1☆ really to much to list.

This is the worst gym in the USA. The equipment is about 60 years old and should be sold as scrap metal. The trendmills are very outdated and most of them do not work. The restrooms are very dirty. The price is no cheaper than other gyms in the area.

Nasty dirty. Almost all treadmills out of order or keys stuck or error messages. I joined tbis gym cause i liked the older eauipment but here its all broken down. Toilets dont flush. Staff looks like there just hanging out. Should be cleaning. Filthy. Very disappointed

Great staff, older facility. Some times pins are missing from the weight equipment. Still I would consider it a great deal and I feel very comfortable working out there. Everyone is very friendly and the other clients are very nice and helpful as well.

This place is truly TERRIBLE! The equipment is broken! I was there a year and the same equipment has been broken. It's also dirty. Come back next day same grass clippings that were in the equipment before. They let you sign up online but if you want to cancel you can only do so if you come in person when a manager is there where they totally waste your time. Awful.

Been going here for almost 10 years, back when it was Ballys. The staff are nice enough, but the equipment is in absolute terrible condition, dumbells are wobbly, literally half of the cardio equipment is defective in some way and other weight machines stay unusable for months. It's such a shame because the cost is low and it's not to busy in the mornings. Hopefully they can get these issues fixed or else I will have to go elsewhere.

There's free babysitting on site as I work out. Much needed so I can have my kids close by instead of driving 30 minutes each way to my Mom's just to get a good hour and half to get a good pump. One star off because they need to repair as much as half the cardio equipment. Everything else is fine!

Some of the machines broken. Good luck if you're trying to be there afternoon. In the weekends Blast will close super early. Overall I would give at 3 starts out of five until the fix the treadmill machines and make it at least to stay open until the midnight.

Overall the club is nice, and will serve the average fitness enthusiast well. I like the class offerings, and the pool, although outdoors. Childcare is awesome! While I was there J.R. and Brody were great with customers. Unfortunately, the same can not be said for their billing company ABC Financial. They are the worst! Billed me wrongly, and took over 4 months with the assistance of J.R. and Brody's complete support, to get my money. I finally did get it, but not the numerous fees my bank charged me, due to waiving so many because of them. Never again! Blast is okay, but not their billing. So be warned!

Switch from GB3 a few months back, so glad I did. Blast has all the equipment that GB3 has but I feel like it's less crowded which is nice. And the staff have always been really cool and friendly with me.

I had to write reviews on Yelp and Google I was so impressed with the customer service at this gym. I had to visit family in Clovis. I live in Vegas and my gym isn't available in Clovis or Fresno. These guys hooked me up with passes and treated me like a valued member.Another thing I found impressive was they were always cleaning the equipment the whole time I was there. I never see that happen at my home gym. I recommend this gym to anyone who wants a great experience. GO check them out!

Really nice place to workout at the staff is friendly and they always great you with a smile. Love going here because the gym is always clean and the weights are always put away in the right area. The atmosphere of the gym is really cool the staff here knows you by name and the members are nice here. I like going at night because I get the hole gym to myself and most gyms are not 24 hours but this one is that's why I love going here it has became a second home to me.

I been a member of Blast since 2013 and I'm one of their regulars. This gym may have some outdated equipment, but it still get the job done. There is always a positive vibe present. I do have other memberships with local gym, but they can't compared to the movtiation and positive atmopshere that Blast have. I do vouch for Blast when friends asks me questions about joining a fitness club. Keep up the good work guys.

Great place to work out! Definition of a "REAL GYM" You don't feel wierd working out there and people don't judge!!
Staff is amazing there! The always said hinwhen I walked in and got to know me by name! When when I stopped working out for 8 months and when I walked in they remembered me by name even before I scanned in! When working out they will come up to you and asked how your doing and is always there to help or answer questions! May not be as fancy as GB3 but I would never go anywhere else!

Love Peters weight training class! It really kicks your butt! And you see results by the 3 week and his class is only 2x a week! It's so nice how when you goto a class everyone is so friendly even if it's your 1st time!!

My son is almost 3 and he enjoys going to the gym with Me! They guys say hi to him and he loves to flirt with the ladies! He enjoys the daycare! And it's included with the price of my membership! What a big plus! Another reason why I joined blast! All other gyms either didn't have a daycare or they charged extra!

Hands down a great gym! I'm a forever member there!!!

Sorry to say, Blast has gone down hill fast. Broken machines, missing weight increments on circuit machines, and worst of all dirty locker rooms. At least they should clean the floors and shower area. Even though they don't put hooks or a place for personal items near shower stalls, they should attempt to make it clean. Better and cheaper options than this location.

Lord some people complain about everything. Remember you get what you pay for. This gym is by far the best price and best customer service for being a 24 hour gym. No intimidation, you can train hard and I'd even go out on a limb and say for serious bodybuilders and powerlifters this gym gives you everything you need. Suck it up and put in the work, and stop complaining. The people here complaining are people who truly weren't ready to workout. Been here for 3 years and never once had a bad experience.

Stay away from this place. During the time I have been a member I have found:
1. The Group Exercise classes treat you like a child. They make you get a poker chip from the front desk. You can only get the poker chips 15 minutes before class. You then have to take that poker chip to the Group Exercise teacher who has you place it in a clear plastic box. If you are more than ten minutes late to a class Blast will not allow you to take the Group Exercise class.
2. The Group Exercise coordinator does not respond to all emails. I have sent her multiple emails with great suggestions on behalf of other members to make classes more accessible. To date she has not responded to an email I sent over 15 days ago. The group exercise coordinator did not even reply with any acknowledgement even though she had responded to previous emails I sent her.
3. The Fresno Blackstone location has drains that back up with grey smelly water.
4. The Fresno Blackstone location men’s shower area gets full of hair and the walls and floors are always dirty. It is like they only mop once a week.
5. The Fresno Blackstone location has old rugs in the whole facility. The rooms with rugs smells bad like body odor but the management fails to replace or clean carpets.
6. Fresno Blast fitness fails to put out of order signs on equipment that does not work properly. It is horrible to get on a machine only to find out that it does not work.
7. The Fresno Blackstone location has poor ventilation. The group exercise rooms get extremely stuffy in the summer. It gets so bad from the humidity of everyone working out that the floors get wet and slippery with sweat.
8. You have to submit a written letter of membership cancellation. Then you have to wait 30 days for them to process and they still charge you membership dues during this time.

In closing Blast offers the worst gym experience. For all those looking for a new gym, don’t even bother with Blast. They are dirty and treat their members awful.

Signed up for Blast Fitness looking to just have a gym to work out close by, everything was good until their personal trainers force you to sign up for their training. Then when you want to cancel the training they make you pay for all your sessions, even if you DON'T use a single one, and then on top of that they charge you another $250 to get out of your contract. All said and done I have paid over $600 for personal training I never used and a gym I went to maybe 5 times. What a way to ruin a gym experience THANKS FOR NOTHING BLAST!!! Make that $900 I had to pay pos Thryve for personal training what a load of Crap!

This gym is great, it's not a fashion show like GB3 and nobody here bothers you during your workout. If you want someone to hold your hand the whole time and coddle you, go somewhere else (in response to the other reviews here.)

Absolutely awful! I met with a trainer who insulted be and became aggressive. I have been trying for weeks to get someone to speak to about this grievance.I spoke to the manager about speaking to the regional managers but clients are not allowed to speak to him so I had to leave a message with the corporate headquarter. I was assured someone would contact me about the incident- NEVER HAPPENED but they have not missed a beat extracting payment from my account.
Don't come hear if you are disable or be prepared to be shamed and belittled.
