They should put a sign in the weight area (or by the leg press) asking everyone to please remove and re-rack the plates after using them. For women or older people who are just starting out, it’s really hard to take off 40-lb plates, and we can hurt our backs. Some men load the machines with three 20-kg plates on each side and don’t remove them, which is very frustrating for those of us who can’t take them off. You also can’t really say anything because they get angry or make fun of you

Didnt mind it at first, then overtime it got harder and harder to workout due to the amount of men taking all the weights and using all the equipment for way too long. The only things available were the treadmills. In my opinion this gym is way too overcrowded and not worth the money especially with how much you pay to not even have access to most equipment.

This gym seriously lacks maintenance. Several machines have been out of order for weeks and some even for months , and nothing is being done to fix them. The restrooms are in terrible condition every time I walk in , making it clear that cleanliness is not a priority here. I reached out to management about these issues, but they don’t seem to care and have done nothing to address them. On top of that, they refused to waive the cancellation fee for my membership, even though these unacceptable conditions are the reason I want to leave. As paying members, it’s not our fault that they mismanage the maintenance and cleanliness of the gym. We shouldn’t have to deal with broken equipment and unsanitary facilities while still being locked into a membership. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone. Awful experience.

Im here to give an honest review as it seems no one has given it true criticism as of recently. I'm not sure if it's the constant change in management at this location and/or the decline of the company but this location has been extremely mismanaged in recent years. There is hardly anyone cleaning and the ones who do often do the bare minimum. I've spoken with one of the cleaning ladies which they seem to have only one or two of and they say all the work is put onto her. The upkeep of equipment is also non existent as their smith machine has been out of service for months increasing wait time on their squat racks. The AC is never on and it is always humid in there. Expect to wait up to 30 minutes for a bench or squat rack if you go at any time that isn't super early or super late. Overall this gym is just okay there's no other way to put it.

The afternoon gets busy, but that's normal. There is a good selection or workout machines. There's no water bottle filling station, only ba water fountain, so that's a bummer. Overall I enjoy going there.

(Update. A year later, there hasn't been much improvement. A lot of the machines have been broken for months. Every other day, the men's urinals are broken. AC is broken. The app is broken.) Overall I'll still come here because you can't cancel easily.

The employees working at front desk seemed to be working hard and doing good job, but the attitude of new manager, who had a long beard and walking around the room in an arrogant manner, was very disgusting.

This gym is the absolute worst! You truly get what you pay for here at 99cents to join this is the more ghetto version of Planet fitness I cancelled in April I’m still being charged no one has an answer when I went to cancel they told me the kiosk was down and wrote my cancellation on a piece of paper ( a piece of paper) I’m to the point where corporate is doing nothing the store is doing nothing the manager is doing nothing steer clear of this gym when it rains the tiles drop from the ceiling it is the worst gym ever imagine curling and ceiling tiles start falling like a game of Tetris

Honestly was just beginning my workout as I been doing for over a year. However at this Gardena location this blink worker approached me. Asking me to turn my music off. Forcing me to listen to the trash being played by them. I will not being visiting that location anymore. Thank the great God of the universe they not the only gym available in L.A. That's very unfair. And I don't use headphones due to the radiation. This is very unfair. I would of lowered the volume. I couldn't complete my exercise due to this dilemma. Music is what give me that extra push. And to have it silenced isn't right. Such petty policy. Such petty gym.

Honestly, best gym in Gardena (I know because I was a member of all at some point or another). Between the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, amount of equipment and cost you really can’t beat it. Was never dirty or too busy to not be able to do anything and their membership services (signing up, cancelling,etc) is soooo much easier than other clubs. Zero pressure or sales pitch, they listen to you. I say all this as an ex member as I’m moving out of the country but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place!

Awesome gym good equipment , staff is great and the gym is always spot less shout out to the cleaning staff. There’s only two things that would help this gym be a 5 stars which is having wipes for equipment. Everyone is courteous to wipe down equipment but supplies are lacking to keep up with demand. Especially with the large volume of people that go in and out. Which sometimes it’s hard to find parking or find gym equipment to use .

I loved going to this gym. It has a great app, reasonable prices, good machines, and an adequate weights area. The lockers and the bathrooms were always clean. If you want a no BS gym experience, this is it. The best part was when I had to cancel my membership. I just went up to them and they cancelled it with no questions asked. The process the seamless and I never felt like I was being sucked into anything. Highly recommend this place.

We were in Gardena for a week on vacation. We visited the gym to mostly access the treadmills. It was great to get a free first session. We came back the next day and paid for a day visit. The gym had lots of available equipment. The place was spacious, well kept, and clean. The staff was super friendly and informative.

Blink is right! Every time I come in here something is on the blink. They only have one weight machine for inner and outer thighs only two weight machines for leg lifts. Every time I come in something is broken or not working. Convince true it’s in the neighborhood but they have enough members in here where they can expand and have at least three machines and fix the equipment. Oh and their sanitizing wipes are always out of stock, the bathroom is nasty and the air dryers for hands are on the BLINK!

I used to go to the 24 hour fitness North Torrance, but they closed it down. I decided to come to Blink instead because it’s close by and it’s only $10 a month. I wish I’d done it a long time ago. This gym is 100X nicer and 1/3 the price. It doesn’t have all that extra stuff like a sauna or jacuzzi but I never used that stuff anyway. The equipment is all new and the gym is SUPER clean.

Great gym, very very clean. I was looking to join a gym and blinks was one of the top 3 choices, and I'm glad I picked blinks. It's never at capacity, the staff is friendly and very tentative to customers questions and concerns. I love that no matter what there is some kind of equipment available for you to warm up while you wait for a big machine. The only thing I would like is for the gym to install a purifier water bottle fill up station, it's touch less and will definitely help with getting hydrated.

the gym is very nice and clean but the staff is very rude the assistant manager at night is just rude and doesn’t care about the customers all he does is complain he’s loud and he just stands in the computer watching movies or a show his name is marcos and we’re still not sure if that’s his real name and when we asked for his last name and he said you are good with that. he also lied about being a manager he said hes the manager of the whole gym but later on we asked one of his co workers and they said hes the assistant manager. just wish we could have worked out in peace but he kept on bothering us

Enough variety in cardio machines - stair master, elliptical, and treadmills and weight lift machines are spaced out so there is good distancing. Highly recommend to wipe down the equipment before using because I do often see people not wiping it down after using it.

BLINK is a very under rated gym. Been a member of Golds, LA Fitness and Kennedy. I have to say for my trail membership, I was very impressed. Great equipment , members are prompt about keeping stations clean, and lots of open space for individual training.

It seems that one member of management team has a problem with people of color. I joined Blink after suffering a series of strokes in the midst of the pandemic. My career as a teacher took backstage as I am still trying to recover. Working out is a form of therapy approved by my doctors. Of all the people in the gym she signals me out if I pull my mask down to take a sip of water or wipe my face. She is rude while so many people are walking around with masks hanging off their faces. As I tell my students, professionalism goes a long way. This employee is a poor representation of the establishment, and I would not recommend this gym if you are a person of color!

I love this gym. They have pretty much everything you need for bodybuilding except and incline bench press. You can take a bench to the squat rack and still achieve it. There's also no pool or Sauna but that's fine since that's not the purpose of this gym. The hours are good too

Blink! If you want an affordable, friendly, upbeat gym this is the place. So clean, bright, and spacious. During this time you need to reserve your workout time through an app. I like to workout at about 5am so I do not have any problems reserving my time. Staff are very welcoming. Great attitude is always a plus. Lots of cardio, free weights, and strength machines available.

Ok, so the gym is well equipped with all the necessities to get a great workout in. The staff is friendly and keep the place clean and equipment maintained. Parking is usually easy since it share a large lot with Starbucks, The habitat and 99 Cent Store amongst others! Carefully not too make the illegal left out onto Normandy though, it's a trap spot and a big ticket ! All and all I like it and recommend checking it out, well worth the small monthly fee.... I pay $15, I think and can bring a guest TOO WORK OUT , not to be hard sold like at 24..... alright that's all! Cheers 🍻

Only about 10% of members wipe down machines after use. While staff do what they can to keep the gym safe the community often makes or breaks a gym and not wiping down machines would be troubling even without covid. The gym dies check temp as you enter and you will see staff clean throughout your time, the majority of members are not wearing masks once in the gym or are wearing them incorrectly. Anyone with vulnerable people in their household should definitely keep away for the time being.

I have been coming to this gym since it opened, it's a great gym always clean and they have wipes to clean the equipment as well. The staff is friendly and the restroom are always clean. They have showers but no sauna, it's a very compact gym. The dumb bells go up to 95 only. But all in all it a great gym. The only issue now is that there is no parking especially on Mondays. It's best to go around 8 to closing that's when it less pack.
