Great gym and great people. Comfortable atmosphere, good/clean equipment, great workout programs. If you’re looking to join a local workout class gym this is the place. One of my goals was to surf better, and can honestly say that I’m surfing better than I ever have. I can paddle longer, turn harder, and haven’t had any injuries since I’ve started.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! I’ve always hated the big crowded gyms where you feel lost in the shuffle, but this facility is the complete opposite. From day one, the members made me feel like part of the team—everyone’s encouraging, supportive, and ready to share a laugh while putting in the work.
Even better, the owners and their wives are absolutely incredible. They’re always uplifting, pushing you to do your best, and celebrating your wins right alongside you. It truly feels like they care about each person who walks through the doors.
If you’re looking for a group training spot where you can train hard, stay consistent, and enjoy the process with an amazing community, this is it. Great group of people all the way around—you’ll get stronger, laugh a lot, and never feel like just another number.

I don't like gyms, but but I absolutely love this place. The personal attention that you get from the trainers makes you feel like family and as though your older brother is helping you work on your technique so that you can, not only get the desired result, but not hurt yourself in the process. I only wish they had more evening hours.

BMF is the best! From informative coaching to engaging exercise, BMF training has it all. At BMF, I was taught proper form to use equipment to elevate my training experience. The times for classes are convenient and the monthly training circuits are great for building strength and endurance. All of the coaches are great at what they do and experts in their field. On top of that, the environment of the gyms is extremely positive and uplifting, creating an amazing community. BMF is the best gym around, I recommend it to anyone looking to start their fitness journey or continue it to a further level.

6 months ago, I broke my shoulder and was told it would take at least a year to gain basic mobility back. As a professional dancer, this was my worst nightmare, and I felt truly hopeless. After not being active for a very long time, I stumbled across Mike's gym, BMF, and took a chance to see if personal training here would be a good fit. IT WAS! I training 2-3 times a week, and within 3 months, I felt like I had 99% of my shoulder mobility and flexibility back. I was even building on strength! Mike was so knowledgeable about the mechanics of the body, how each exercise utilizes my muscles, and provided alternative exercises when my plantar fasciitis was acting up and I couldn't so exercises that required putting weight on my feet. I spent a total of 4 months at BMF and could not be more grateful for the training, confidence, and results I received. The vibe of this gym is so welcoming, and I can guarantee you will be welcomed with a smile and sent off after a great workout with a fist bump from Mike and Aaron

BMF has changed my life and outlook. I am 59 and fell into a place of depression and lack of care for myself this past year. I joined in June 2024 and was in the worst shape of my life. I have always been active and love Pilates and running, but strength training has turned my life around! Coach Mike has created perfect workouts for me. He honors my weaknesses (2 herniated discs) but has created super challenging workouts that have changed my life. I am visibly, physically, and mentally WAY stronger. I was a little worried to start lifting when I first came to BMF. Most of my athletic background growing up was running based, so lifting felt so foreign to me. All I can say is, BMF truly made a difference in giving me the confidence I needed in the gym. I'll have to admit my bias right off the bat, my best friends is part owner of this gym but regardless of my bias, this place is a phenomenal gym. I appreciate the holistic approach to fitness that they take and feel that I'm getting stronger while increasing my mobility.
The people are great and it feels like your working out with a community and I really appreciate that.
The workouts are tough but not abusive. They rotate the exercises every 3 weeks or so, so I'm really not worried about plateauing.
The coaches are instructive and not intrusive.
Just good vibes all around. I cannot recommend it enough

I’m in the best shape of my life thanks to BMF. If you're considering a gym, consider the following notes.
I like that functional strength and endurance is the focus here. The routines are split between heavy lifting, dynamic movements, and cardio. Too many other gyms overly focus on just one of those aspects—For example, CrossFit gyms focus on maximizing reps on specific exercises which doesn't nessicarily translate to functional fitness. I've also been to other private gyms that overemphasis HIIT and under emphasis strength building.
There is a ton of depth and research to the new routines each month. I'm a bit of a nerd and couldn't make a comparable routine if I tried. I've learned a ton of new exercises, all under close supervision and I can apply those anywhere now.
I like the staff and the people that go to this Gym.
Curveball: One of the strangest but biggest benefits I have seen from BMF is the ability to sign up for classes ahead of time. I usually sign up in the morning when I know it’s the right decision. By the afternoon, I'll have a million seemingly real reasons to not go. In the past, this would result in skipping the gym. However, I’ve made a personal rule never to cancel a class once I’ve signed up. This simple rule has significantly improved my overall gym attendance unlike anything else I've tried. I just have to make it to BMF at the time I decided on. No mental energy is spent debating if I am going, or what exercises I'm going to do. No shifted timelines because I need a pre-workout snack. Just show up, and the results are locked in. This is something you can probably apply at any private gym but for me it made all the difference. Thank you BMF!!!

I absolutely LOVE BMF because it's truly an amazing community. BMFs team of coaches are highly skilled and knowledgeable not only physical training wise but on mobility, nutrition and other aspects; they are genuinely interested in our progress, regularly checking in with us on individual 1:1s to evaluate our progress and tweak our goals accordingly.
I really enjoy the atmosphere; the place is well kept, clean and the equipment is top notch.
They offer a variety of time slots to choose from, which is great for someone like me that works FT with a busy schedule. Training sessions/classes and workouts can be scheduled and tracked via app which I really like.
If you want to reach your fitness goals, I definitely recommend BMF.

I’ve been going to BMF Training for 6 months now and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made. I injured my shoulder a couple years ago. Not wanting to injure it any further, was hesitant about going back to the gym. I decided getting back into a gym routine with a personal trainer would be a good way to start. Working with Coach Mike these last several months has been far better than anything I could have expected. I’ve made more progress in these last few months I’m just upset I didn’t start sooner. He has customized workouts made out for me each week and if there are any movements that I’m limited on with my shoulder, he has a modification ready to go so I can still do the exercise. The coaches at BMF are knowledgeable and motivating and everyone there is very friendly, always encouraging each other to do their best. If you’re looking for a great local gym, this is it. Highly Recommend!!

The group fitness classes are small and personalized, and challenging at the same time. I've been a member of BMF since 2022, and it's the BEST strength and conditioning gym I've ever been a part of. Their program is super organized and thought out. Using their app keeps track of my progress and helps me keep challenging myself week to week. They have a great nutrition program that is unique to each person. I've been with BMF Training Gym since 2020, and so has my husband. We both love being able to work out together, and it helps that we are in a community that welcomes us both. We are very different types of people, and finding a place where we can both be ourselves, highlight our strengths, and improve individually has changed our lives. We are welcoming our first baby in February, and I would say with confidence that we owe it to BMF in helping us be ready for this next step in our lives. To be specific, I feel like our physical health is attributed to the workout programming and positive environment that makes up BMF. Additionally, we've learned so many effective ways to lift and carry things so that we don't injure or hurt ourselves. This has helped with moving and carrying things around the house. I have been a member of this gym for a little over a year and I absolutely have strength gains from staying consistent with their training program. I love the programming because you can track your history and measure yourself compared to past workouts to see progress.
Prior to joining BMF I had an LA Fitness membership, 9 Round, and Class Pass trying to find what resonated with me and my goals. While I enjoyed those experiences I never quite progressed because I lacked the accountability and direction to achieve my strength goals on my own. I finally found a home where I am stronger and continue to improve.
As other reviewers noted, I am impressed by the diversity of the members and the coaches coming from all backgrounds, ages, and abilities. I love that they provide nutrition, one on one, and group coaching. They keep track of your goals and check in on you to keep your attendance consistent. I am motivated by the encouragement and feedback and I appreciate the attentiveness to ensure safety, proper form, and progress.

BMF is by far the best gym I’ve ever been to, it’s very clean, supportive and fun. Coaches push you to the limit and teach you everything you need to know about working out with patience and dedication. Coach Mike is super professional and knowledgeable, and will make you feel good and confident about yourself and your progress. Great 1 on 1 or group training! I started 1 on 1 after having my 2nd baby and Mike had been awesome at helping me get to my strongest after having 2 kids while working with my bad shoulder to help get it better and stronger with the rest of me. Very flexible schedules and can even opt to have some in home exercising custom made for me while still going in for 1 on 1 personal training

If you are a combat sports athlete and are looking to take your strength and conditioning to the next level, I highly recommend joining the BMF team. They have Muay Thai & BJJ specific programs that will get you stronger, faster, and more explosive for your sport without burning you out. I was able to bring my deadlift from 185lbs to 315lbs while only lifting twice a week and training Muay Thai 5-6 times a week. This really shows how effective and efficient the programming is at BMF. Give it a try!

I had started my health and fitness journey 5 years ago when I was over 300lbs eating bad, treating myself horribly, and was just a overall mess. Fast forward to now after taking initiative to train hard and gain more tools for improving my mobility and practical strength I had found a gym (BMF)* that helped my fine tune all the little errors I was making when doing strength and conditioning. Six months in and I feel as sharp as ever, the staff and main coach Mike are amazing coaches and can take you to the next level and help you achieve your fitness goals. At BMF there is an amazing sense of community and camaraderie during every session and there was never a time where I felt embarrassed or intimidated on my lack of knowledge when it came to certain exercises that I had never done before. They can train anyone from novice to expert, and from my time being there they have improved my strength and overall performance in the gym. I can’t thank them enough for everything they have taught me. If you’re looking to push your limits and see what you’re made of this is definitely the place to do it!

I came to BMF Training a year ago after years of not working out consistently. Coach Mike showed me that I am physically and mentally stronger than I imagined. I was terrified of getting injured because I had never weight trained before. Mike and all the coaches are always patient while encouraging me to level up (but with their guidance and doing so safely!) I am so thankful not only for the strides that I have made physically but also for the community at BMF. My husband and I have built meaningful relationships as we have built our muscles! Been coming here since December 2021. Completely changed my relationship with exercise and weightlifting: with myself. Michael runs a super tight ship with a fun atmosphere where working out is made fun and backed by extreme knowledge. All trainers are great and supportive and while I only take group training classes I feel like I get personal training one on one. This is the best gym ever, HIGHLY recommend. It’s not intimidating, it serves all ages, shapes and sizes and makes you confident in new skills.

This gym is easily the best fitness training environment I've experienced (I've hired personal trainers, group classes, etc.). All my favorite elements combined in one place! You get:
-positive, non judgy trainers (basically coaches)
-super welcoming and supportive community
-body composition measurements (like a dexa scan) every 6-8 weeks
-an app to record weights/rep
-a personal consult so the trainers can know your intentions and goals (and support that effort)

Been a member since the fall of 2021. Great gym! Mike & Aaron have planned excellent daily workouts, each focused on a different area of the body. Each workout is a challenge and you feel the benefits afterwards. Scheduling is easy through the BMF App, and there is always enough room in the classes. The trainer lead walks you through the workout and monitors what you do to correct form. All workouts are logged in the App so you have a record of what you’ve done. The gym is clean, well equipped and has a positive vibe. Highly recommend!

I have truly loved being a party of this gym! Coach Mike (and all the coaches) are so friendly, helpful and very driven to help you get results and become the best version of yourself. The gyms motto 'Everyone Deserves To Be An Athlete" really encompasses the gyms approach to training everyone. The programming is challenging, effective, and never boring. Coach Mike is always there to support and challenge you through the workouts, and hold you accountable outside the gym as well.
On top of all the amazing things about the gym itself, the members also truly make this gym. Everyone is so supportive of each other and always pushes each other to do their best. There is never any competition, whether you are just starting out or an experienced athlete.
