Dave is by far the best trainer I’ve had. He is a true professional with genuine concern for his clients well being. He’s a coach, he’s a trainer, and he also just happens to be an awesome family man helping people feel better about themselves through exercise.
I was a collegiate sprinter. I have been lucky enough to be coached by and trained with some world class athletes. I’d put Dave’s coaching and training acumen right up there with them.
I also have some experience dealing with injuries, aches, and pains. What sold me on Dave was that the first thing we spoke about was recovery and maintaining a healthy balance between exercise and recovery. When you got someone who genuinely wants you to be healthy - not just look healthy - for the long term, you got to consider yourself lucky. I do. The whole philosophy is about building a foundation and then building upon that foundation.
Each workout is designed specifically for me and with the intention to challenge me, and I will recover by the next work out. Dave advises different stretches and recovery techniques during the workout and for on my own time. It’s not a huge commitment and it makes you feel really good. There are lifelong techniques that I’ve picked up from Dave.
The magic of Dave is that you actually want to do the work with him. Partly because the plan is designed for you, but also because you are doing it with your advocate who genuinely wants you to succeed.
Honestly the guy is pretty intelligent and could be a professional in a lot of different professions. We are lucky he chose the training path. Take advantage of it. Go with the best. Go with Dave. You won’t regret it!

I've been training with Dave since 2017, and I can confidently say he is the best personal trainer I have ever worked with. Whether it's in the gym, at home, or through remote coaching, Dave consistently delivers exceptional guidance and support.
Dave's expertise in personal training is evident in his tailored workout plans and his ability to adapt to any environment. For instance, I have never enjoyed push-ups, so Dave has selected alternative exercises to effectively work out my pecs without compromising my preferences. Additionally, when I'm extra sore or experiencing a low-energy day, Dave incorporates more body work, such as rolling out, to ensure I still get the most out of our session while addressing my current physical state.
During the COVID pandemic, Dave's adaptability truly shone. He adjusted our routine to be conducted outside in my backyard and ensured he was masked and disinfecting all equipment used, maintaining a safe training environment. Understanding the unique circumstances, he even allowed my roommates to join our sessions since we were all together anyway. This flexibility made a significant difference in not only maintaining my fitness routine, but also the mental wellbeing of my friends and myself during the peak of the most challenging time in our lives.
What sets Dave apart is his genuine commitment to his clients' progress. He takes the time to understand individual goals and designs programs that are both challenging and achievable. His attention to detail and encouragement keep me motivated, even during the toughest sessions. He has provided a fitness plan I could do at home by myself, and I've used them while traveling to keep up with my program.

Working with Dave as been a great experience. I've had trainers in the past, but none have taken the time to really educate their clients on the dynamics and balance of a full body workout. Dave focuses on your individual needs and goals and tailors each session to help you work towards those goals. Not only I have a seen physical transformation, but I feel stronger and more energized. I can crank out push-ups which I haven't been able to do in years! My personal favorite is ending each session with a massage gun treatment - Dave doesn't try to break you, he tries to help heal sore muscles so your ready for your next session. I highly recommend working with Dave!

I have been working with Dave for several months while undergoing treatment for cancer. My illness had rendered me practically immobile. In conjunction with medical treatment which has been shrinking the cancer, Dave has employed a combination of body work and exercises which has me up and moving again and getting into shape. The transformation is incredible. His expertise and super positive attitude have been invaluable in my recovery. If Dave can get me in shape in my condition, just imagine what he can do for you! I am writing to update my previous review. This April I was fortunate enough to donate a kidney to my father. The surgery was performed via three laproscopic port incisions and a 4.5 inch lateral incision through the abdominal wall at the belt line. Working with Dave was very helpful prior to surgery, and that facilitated a quick recovery. I was not to lift 10 lbs for 8 weeks. Dave kept me walking on an incline and in an active protocol during this initial period. After 8 weeks, he helped me periodize back without placing anything in jeopardy. At 7 months post surgery (and corresponding with my 50th birthday) we tested 1 RM: 405 DL, 355 SQ, 295 BP for a 1055 combined total. If that doesn't speak to Dave's capability as a trainer, I'm not sure what would. I can't recommend him enough. My kidney function is excellent, as is my dad's. (Although he complains that he has to get up at night again because my kidney is still on West Coast time. :-) )

Six months prior to my wedding, I hired Dave to help me get ready for the big day. He has been awesome so far! Before I even officially hired Dave he gave me a full hour to get to know him and go over my entire plan. We have been working out 3x a week at 5am and the results have been awesome. I have lost inches everywhere and my % of body fat is going down month after month. I feel strong, lean and athletic again! Dave has a whole plan and a lot of tools and apps to keep track of your overall progress. He is very encouraging but also holds you accountable to weigh-ins and measurements which I appreciate and need! It has been working so well that my best friend decided to join us and it has been working great for her too! Dave is definitely the best trainer out there! I would highly recommend for anyone that is sick of just taking exercises classes / doing cardio and hoping for the best. I cannot tell you how much of a difference it makes to be on a consistent plan created and monitored by an expert like Dave.

Dave makes getting a great work out in easy. All you have to do is show up and get to work. After months of him training my boyfriend, I finally decided to join. We always leave exhausted in the best way possible. He's informative and pays extreme attention to detail with form and technique. He's a great motivator and always listens to our needs/concerns. Dave is everything you want in a personal trainer. He’s dedicated to his profession and to helping you achieve your goals. He is very attentive to proper form in exercise, and will correct even the slightest error. He is flexible in scheduling and always on time. He’s positive and funny and makes the time go by quickly, never a chore to workout with Dave. He also a great website with online tips and additional services other than personal training you can take advantage of. I definitely recommend Body by Dave if you are looking for amazing results!

I began working with Dave in order to get back in shape after a relocation and year of extensive intense work travel. Working with Dave twice a week has led to increases in strength, flexibility, and overall athletic performance. Dave effectively use periodization training with me to both continue to create gains, while also minimizing potential for injury. Dave provides expert training, diet, and hydration guidance, especially with respect to my high travel work. We have developed challenging workouts for low equipment settings, and critical diet plans to keep from gaining 5 pounds every trip through the airport. I can recommend Dave without reservation.

I obtained Dave's services quite by accident, while searching on-line for someone to organize and direct my weight loss. His extensive knowledge and client focus has enabled me to not only reach my goal of losing a few pounds but getting to and maintaining a very health lifestyle I never thought I would be able to achieve.
