I had a very unpleasant experience at this gym. Their βcoachβ had an extremely bad atitude and was very rude with me. I left the gym after 5 minutes.
No wonder the class was empty.
It was the HI-Volume class at 6:30pm , hopefully they can provide a training for their employees and improve service.

I have been a proud member of Body One for over 9 years. I started out just looking for a way to get in some cross training to help with injuries I was experiencing from my marathon training. What was going to be an every once in a while gym became my 5 day per week passion.
Lou and his team put together such a great variety of exercises daily that I never need to wonder what to work on. And if the workouts weren't good enough, the B1 community is what has kept me renewing my membership year after year. I love this place! I have recommended this gym to countless people and would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in shape or get in shape, and feel supported doing it.

I've lived in the South Bay my whole life. I have worked out here as a class participant, a trainee, a competitive athlete and as a group fitness instructor. You name it, I have done it, here in the So Bay. When I found Body One Fitness, I knew for sure that I was on to something exceptional! Lou's unique method of driving a class keeps me focused and NEVER bored (boredom is usually the catalyst that enables you to quit ). He also has class times that fit everyone's schedule (another quit catalyst). There are so many options for workouts in the South Bay, but so few perpetuate real strength enhancement. If you you want to gain strength this is the place, period! Take it from a chick who has been in the work out circuit for a very long time, BODY ONE WORKOUTS MAKE YOU STRONGER, physically and mentally.

Body One is the best place to workout, period. Each day is uber challenging and fun at the same time. Lou is constantly mixing up the workouts - each day is different. He incorporates cardio (sprints, rowing, jumping rope, etc) with weight training for a killer workout. On any given day, you will find guys with big muscles hitting Lou's classes along side individuals who may just be getting back into working out after years off. While each workout is intense, Lou will help you scale it down if you are a beginner or push you to give you the hardest workout ever. You will probably also make new friends, as the people are rad =). Try it - you will love it!!!

If you think your exercise routine is enough, you haven't experienced this challenging self-driven, environment. Build your body your own way, at your own pace, and keep yourself motivated by the increasing challenge as you hit each benchmark you set for yourself, and realize that there is more you can do. AWESOME!

Body One Fitness is hands down the best gym in the South Bay. I joined Body One about 9 months ago. I first tried it out via the "Unlimited $99 Yelp Deal" and after just a week of going, knew it was the right fit for what I was looking for. I was athletic in High School, but let myself go in college. Two years post-college, I still hadn't gotten back into a healthy routine, but Body One got me back on track.
Highlights:
- Group Workouts with convenient online sign-up via mindbodysoul (average of 12 people per class)
- Extremely helpful trainers (for both beginners and advanced athletes)
- Workouts are challenging and are always different (Think WOD without the competition of crossfit - Kettle, Rowing, Lifting, Plyo, Tabata)
- Amazing group of people who go (early 20's to 50's)
I have never been happier with my body or felt stronger than I do today. Body One Fitness and THE AMAZING owner and head trainer, Lou, are 100% to thank for my transformation.

I am a beginner to working out and Lou makes sure you get the most out of each session without hurting yourself. Everyone is encouraging and I can't wait to see the new me next year!
