I am a beginning and the instructor kept an eye on me and came to my "assistance" throughout the entire class - thank you! Amazing that she could do that while still giving out the verbal cues to the rest of the class without skipping a beat. Excellent instructor!

Yesterday was my first Bodyrok. I live in the neighborhood and always wanted to try it. The studio is super nice and the staff was great, very welcoming and helpful. The reason for the 3 stars is nothing against anyone who works there.
This workout is confusing and not that fun. The instructor is not on their own reformer so you can't rely on that to know what to do. When you look around to see what others are doing to try and stay on task, everyone is doing something different. It seemed like at least half the class was just as confused as I was. While I do think it's a great workout, I think fitness should be fun. The instructor talks the ENTIRE TIME. You can't even listen to the music because the instruction is so loud and non stop. 15 minutes into the class you're tired of listening to it. This wouldn't be fun even if I had a lot of practice on the reformer.
When I think about all the fitness classes I take, this is nowhere near the top. But we can't knock it till we try it!!

Cardio Sculpt Class Review, Monday Nov 10 at 3:30 PM**
I took a Cardio Sculpt class today at BodyRok’s Polk Street location, and I have to say—this substitute instructor was *fantastic*. From the first few minutes, my heart rate was up and the sweat was real. The cardio was sustained all the way through, and the sculpting was no joke—I felt the burn in my core, arms, and legs. This class delivered exactly what it promised: high-intensity sculpting with nonstop movement.
What really impressed me was the instructor’s attention to detail and care. Early in the class, she noticed that I and the person next to me had done an exercise on the wrong side of the body. Not only did she flag it in the moment, but later—when we repeated the move—she *remembered* and reminded us to switch sides. That kind of attentiveness is rare and deeply appreciated.
She also walked the room consistently, checking form and making sure everyone was moving safely and correctly. Her cues were clear, her energy was motivating, and she kept us informed throughout: how many sets were left, how much time remained, and how hard we should be pushing. That structure helped me stay focused and push harder, especially in the second half of class when fatigue starts to creep in.
BodyRok Polk Street continues to impress, and today’s class was a reminder that even a substitute instructor can bring excellence, precision, and care. I left feeling strong, sweaty, and grateful.

Steven was spectacular! He arrived at the studio to discover that his support staff did not arrive and clients were waiting outside. This did not rattle him in the slightest. He was extremely professional, efficient and got the class started on time. During class, his guidance was spot on! B.B. is exactly what I want for an instructor in morning classes!! B.B. gives many modifications on moves to both test us and give us alternatives if we have injuries. I had my first Pilates class today, and Bailey was absolutely incredible! At the start of the session, she took the time to explain the reformer machine to me and made sure I was placed where she could easily assist if needed. Throughout the class, she was so attentive—helping me whenever I needed while still supporting others and providing clear instructions. The class was perfect for both beginners and regulars, with a great pace that still made my body feel the burn. I sweated more than I ever do, but it was such a satisfying and energizing experience. I’ve been going to Bodyrok since February 2023, and I absolutely love it. I don’t have a membership, since I play tennis consistently on the weekdays. I do classes every so often, and it leaves me sore the next day every time. I decided to try pilates because I wanted to learn something new, and it’s really strengthened my core and overall muscles. I absolutely love instructors, and go during different time slots to experience a new class. My first class was with Charlotte, and she was welcoming and patient with me as I’ve never been on a reformer before. My most recent class was with Bethany, and as I’ve gotten more advanced, the classes still have my legs shaking! Bethany was teaching the Cardio Sculpt, and it was super challenging, but she was encouraging all throughout the process.
Although I love Bodyrok, there is one thing that I do have to mention. I tend to sweat a lot during a workout, and they don’t have towels like a gym would. I like to bring a small one with me, but when I forget, it’s sometimes tricky towards the end of the workout since the sweat on my hands makes it difficult to grip the reformer. The only reason I make this comment is because the classes aren’t cheap, coming in at $35 per session. Because I don’t do it often enough to have a membership, it gets costly.
But I still give Bodyrok 5 stars, since I do get an amazing workout every time. Everyone there is so sweet and supportive, and it’s truly a lovely environment for all levels.

I have been coming to this location for 2 years and taken 150+ classes. The instructors are knowledgeable, always creating a fun and motivating environment. I recently attended a Pilates class with instructor Sarah, and it was an exceptional experience! Sarah’s energy and expertise created a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere from the start. She took the time to ensure everyone understood the movements, offering modifications for all fitness levels while gently challenging us to push a bit further.
Her cues were clear and easy to follow, and she paid great attention to form, helping us get the most out of each exercise. The class was well-paced and left me feeling both energized and centered.

I have been attending bodyrok for years and it is the best strengthening and lengthening work out I’ve found that I enjoy and can stick to without getting bored. The instructors are motivating, the music fun and the studios and megaformers clean and welcoming. Other weight training exercises have resulted in various injuries but the lagree method remains challenging but not painful. Check it out!

I’ve been a Bodyrok member since April, and it’s hands-down my favorite fitness class! Classes at Bodyrok Polk are one of the favorite parts of my day! The 45 minute length and lots of options for class times make it easy to pop in at any time and get a great workout in. The classes are challenging regardless your fitness level, and results from your workouts are seen quickly once you start going regularly! Julie is a really great instructor- but no instructor I’ve taken hasn’t been good!

Unethical business practices. I booked a class here and was a couple minutes late because they are on a main and busy street and couldn’t find parking. When I walked in all the reformers were taken and they said they gave my spot to someone else. I’m not sure how they could even do this if I was only a couple minutes late and my spot was confirmed other than intentionally overbooking their spots. Really cheap behavior for a named brand.

I just had the worse experience, being left outside the class at 8.32 for a class that started at 8.30am. The receptionist kept looking at me but decided to give my class to someone else and decided also that laughing at me from the closed door instead of opening the door was a good idea. I really can’t believe this type of treatment happens in a place they I’ve been visiting for years now.

Cyna is the absolute best teacher at this studio. Her classes are perfect for beginners or advanced, her music is great and the class is challenging so you know you are getting an amazing workout and your money's worth. Bodyrok will get you strong, feeling good and strengthen your core (you may even get killer abs). Highly recommend!

This place is new to my neighborhood on Polk and I thought I'd try it out to mix up my workout routine. Absolutly loved it! The instructor, Cyna (cool name, cool chick), really made the class accessible to all levels. As a beginner, I was given a thorough introduction to the machines and how the class was structured beforehand and great alternatives for my lower back issues. I noticed that the more experienced people in the class ( which I aspire to be) were also challenged and given ways to increase their momentum and resistance should they choose to. All in all I woke up with that good-sore feeling that makes me want to go back and keep improving.
