This studio is a treasure - from the variety of classes offered (ashtanga, aerial, hatha, vinyasa, gentle, restorative/therapeutic, pre-natal, etc), dedication & expertise of the teachers, depth of knowledge in workshop (including their fabulous Teacher Training), friendly staff, yummy beverages at the Mandala Tea house, and the beauty of the carefully considered environment.

I can’t express how grateful I am to have found this place to practice and learn as a student and future yoga teacher. I recommend this place for ALL - who are curious about yoga as beginners & who want to deepen their practice. You won’t be disappointed, I promise 🙏🏽♥️

Still love instructors and classes here.

But lower my rating by two stars for following reasons:
* I clearly remember the first time I joined, I was told phones are not allowed to bring in the classes. However, today I noticed at least four students bringing their phones. What’s more, one student was even leaning her phone on the wall and filming the whole class.
* There had been a strict five minutes rule. There was a time I wasn’t allowed to join the class since I was 6 minutes late. Even one minute later is unacceptable. However tonight there was a student who was 15 minutes late allowed to join the class. I was surprised and upset about it. It’s not about whether a student being late affects the experience or not. But this sometimes extremely strict sometimes very loose rules are unfair and hurt people’s feelings.

If the rules don’t apply any more, we should have rights to know.

Breathe Together is an excellent place for reloading and empowering after daily routine and stress. It has a friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable instructors, and a friendly and wise community of like-minded people. Classes, workshops, courses, and retreats - anyone could find something valuable here. The classes cover all needs and interests of those interested in guiding in self-grow: basic and advanced yoga classes, yin and therapeutic yoga, warm vinyasa and aerial yoga, Mysore style practice, meditation, and qigong. In addition, kirtan, sound bathing, tea parties, and much more - on weekends. You can find everything on the studio's website.
Great place. Love it.

Got there 7 mins late with my mum after terrible traffic making a usual 20min drive to 45min. I said okay if you don’t want to let me in because of your policy, but please mark me as present for class pass, so they don’t charge $17 on each of us. Old front desk woman said no with a straight face from beginning to the end. Very unfriendly front desk staff. I almost bought your monthly membership, and now I am glad I did not. Hope this is not because of the racist vibe people have been talking about here.

Been going to prenatal yoga classes here for 4+ months and it's been a great experience! Studio has a very calming vibe and I feel relaxed after every class. Instructor Marina is amazing with her soothing voice, love her emphasize of tuning into your intuition. Being a doula herself she goes beyond just the yoga practice and shares other helpful techniques for birth like visualization, affirmations and pelvic floor exercises. I feel a true sense of community with the prenatal participants, all kudos to Marina's way of structuring the practice!

Response to owner: I did arrive before class, enough time to get a tour and pick out the lavender scent spray for my mat and the intention card for my session. You should really talk with your front desk staff to ensure that your records are accurate. The older lady at the front desk asked me for my name and perhaps she did not hear me or understand that Classpass folks need to be checked in.

Parking is a nightmare, and if you leave a negative review with Classpass…they will mark you as “missed” and make you go through the hassle of disputing the charge. Definitely do not recommend

The BEST Yoga Studio in the Bay!

I've been to many yoga studios, here and abroad, and Breathe Together is by far the most impressive studio. I had to end my membership because I have moved abroad, but the 19 months I was a member was worth EVERY PENNY. I will miss this studio!!!

Space:
The space itself is warm, welcoming, and beautiful. I really love how both rooms have windows that provide plenty of sunlight and an art or water feature. Perfect ambiance. It is an enjoyable space to be in. Also very clean.

Classes:
I love how there are a huge variety of classes and how many classes they have everyday. No matter what your mood or ability is, there is a class for you. Power, Vinyasa, Weights, Yin, Aerial, Self Massage, etc. etc. BT also has more niche classes I haven't seen anywhere else that have changed my life! I'm looking at you Neurogenic Tremor class!!

Teachers:
The teachers here are amazing. So many amazing knowledgable teachers. Many are very attentive and will not only help you in class, but follow up with your outside of class and weeks/months later to see how you are. Shout out to Izumi, Cindy, Elizabeth, Jason, and Amy! If I ever saw they were teaching that day, i'd move my schedule around to be able to attend their class.

11/10 Studio. Great people. Great customer service. Amazing classes.

Erica Valentine is a top-notch yoga instructor and I highly recommend her at Breathe Together Yoga! I joined a Vinyasa class with her a few weeks ago. I was impressed with her class for several reasons. Along with the guided poses, she guided the breathing throughout the session and this helped me know when to inhale and exhale. She corrected my positioning ensuring my posture was correct during class. She also offered props and workarounds for poses that might be too difficult for people. I am 60 years old and in good shape, but have had issues with my lower back, shoulders, and knee. I felt challenged without over doing it. Her class was perfect for me as I felt firm and strong in my muscles without feeling sore afterward. I was amazed at how physically great I felt for days. Erica brought tools to the class to help empower her students during the session. I think this is a nice touch as a woman wanting to step more into my power. I feel that her class offers a great mix to improve strength, flexibility and stamina. I also want to mention that the facility at Breathe Together Yoga is clean and well equipped. Staff is helpful & friendly, and it is a nice place for yoga.

I have lived in San Jose, CA for about 18 months now and have dabbled in the practice of yoga at a variety of places here in CA and in other states over the years.

Recently a few people suggested I look into Yoga certification. I liked the idea and began asking yoga instructors what places they would recommend for certification.

After the sixth person in a row suggested I check out Breath Together Yoga, I stopped asking and headed over there to see for myself!

I fell in love with the place as soon as I walked in! The vibe felt really good!

The person I spoke with first, Sam (Samantha) welcomed me, asked about my interests and offer me the 3 Weeks for $55 trial. This was exactly what I needed to explore and expand my interests to make a more knowledgable decision moving forward.

I committed to myself, that I would attend 21 sessions, in that three weeks and if I still liked yoga and still liked Breath Together Yoga, I would sign up for their certification orientation!

Guess what??!!! I am signed up for the orientation!

When you visit a place as consistently as I did for three weeks in a row and become more impressed each time...WOW!

Thanks to everyone at Breath Together Yoga for your commitment to the practice and the people that come through your doors!

I look forward to what comes next!

I was also looking for a place to do the 200 hour teacher training so BTY was the perfect place!! I feel grateful everyday.

Breathe Together Yoga is a welcoming and inclusive community to be a part of, practice yoga, and hang out. Various classes from energetic practice to healing calm practice taught by various instructors. On the website, I counted 35 instructors teaching currently, so variety of classes to choose from. I am amazed by and I tend to join Flow-based classes which are not only Vinyasa but also uniquely named flow classes. Excited to try something new. I like how the two yoga rooms and the lunge area are decorated with Buddhas' and deities statues to feel safe and protected. One has a lovely-sounding waterfall wall in the room. The bigger room has White Tara and Lotus painting. Workshops offer on the weekends. Some workshops are so unique that only find at BTY. The lounge area has comfortable seats to find someone to chat with or to have a tea, smoothie, and lemon ginger shot from Mandala Tea House. I love walking into the studio to feel the vibrant warm energy.

BTY felt too expensive to really try, but they have an amazing first time deal with unlimited classes. That deal got me to try the studio. It's gorgeous. They have a sola studio (can be heated with a waterfall wall) and a luna studio (large with a setup for aerial yoga). They have a cute and fun cafe (albeit expensive) for tea, coffee, and smoothies right by the check-in desk. They have a wonderful variety of classes throughout the day and the teachers have all been wonderful. They often have deals for memberships, and the peace and fun that practicing with BTY brought made the price worth it.

The place is amazing. Gorgeous, large, spacious, and so welcoming. It truly feels like a community. Parking can be a little annoying sometimes, but it's not too bad — there is actually plenty of parking, it's just not plain to see at first sometimes.

The only feedback I have is: every little sound from the outside is amplified to such a degree that sometimes takes you out of the moment. I have only been to the larger room, Luna, so I don't know about the entire place, but it can be problematic while attempting to stay focused on myself, on my breath, etc.
What I would recommend is soundproofing the windows, especially, and maybe using some sound-muffling art in the room. There's amazing things out there that could go amazingly with the vibe of the place.

Other than that, absolutely the best place I've ever been to for this kind of thing. Magical.

Breathe Together Yoga has been instrumental in helping me heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually. One of the best things I've done in my life is to be part of this community. I love the diversity of yoga classes offered in studio and online. I've learned how to properly care for myself as my body progresses towards later years. And it's not just the physical aspect of yoga, the diversity, philosophy, and experience of instructors at Breathe constantly remind me to be present and mindful. I have inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis, hep B, lupus, and I credit yoga and the Breathe community in significantly helping to decrease my symptoms. I am truly grateful and appreciative of all the teachings I've gained and I'm still learning. It's never ending. I honestly think yoga and the Breathe Together community has saved my life.

Please don't waste your time here, When I went to the class, receptionist was very rude and said that there is a glitch in our system and the class you reserved is full, so now you can't get in the class. If someone reserves the class and do not get in then whats the point of reserving the class, I also got racist vibe towards people of color. This place has great vibes. I signed up for my first tapas class held at 8:30 am and came in at 8:36 only to be denied entry into a class. I’m sure the 5 minute cancellation was there for a reason, but wonder if there’s a big difference between entering at 8:35 and 8:36. Drove 8 miles just for this, and life happened and got delayed by a few mins. While the yoga practice itself may teach being more centered grounded and empathetic,I think the staff can practice more empathy in such situations or atleast explain why it exists. Looking forward to try out my next class here, will update my review if my experience changes.

More than a decade ago, I took advantage of every Groupon or introductory offer at various yoga studios in or around Campbell, Los Gatos, and San Jose. When I found Breathe Together, I knew I had found something indelible, rare, and unique. The passion and community that are at the heart of this wonderful place, and have been central to its conception, are nothing short of amazing. I was initially struck by the vast and varied offerings each week, from power Vinyasa classes, to Yin and meditation, aerial, flow, tapas, chair yoga, yoga for cancer survivors, and MORE!

The concentration of talent, love, dedication, and genuine, intrinsic motivation to foster greater inquiry into what yoga can be has astounded me over the years. Jennifer Prugh, the founder of this haven (I’m not exaggerating!), has nurtured the studio to serve so many needs, people, and organizations. The scope and scale of impact is just staggering!

My yoga practice has evolved in unimaginable ways under the direction and guidance of Jennifer and her reliably expert teachers. I cannot say enough about how practicing at Breathe Together has transformed my life for the better. I’m indebted and full of gratitude for having found such a special place, despite the illusion that there are so many good studios to choose to practice at in this area. THIS is the cream of the crop!

The yoga studio I was originally a member of sadly shuttered during the covid-19 pandemic. In the months following, as businesses slowly reopened, I tried every studio in the south bay in attempts to find a new sangha. From Mountain View to Los Gatos, from online to in-person, I searched for over a year. I don't know why it took me so long to find Breathe Together but in the end, I happily did, and I no longer go elsewhere. I am a lifelong student. I have practiced since I was a young teen (20+ years by now.) I've practiced with sages, incredible teachers around the world and BTY is and will be my home and sanctuary for as long as I live in the Bay Area.

I found this studio through ClassPass. I live in SF but had to stay in the area for a week. I loved this studio for it’s range of classes, teachers, and the actual studio space. I was able to take a handful of classes in person & virtually. I loved all of the teachers & their offerings. I found them to be extremely knowledgeable & welcoming. I was impressed by the range of classes offered, unique to have all in one studio while maintaining the integrity of each. The studio space itself was clean, spacious, and beautiful. I also liked the yoga inner-development store offerings & the cafe is such a great added warmth. Although I am far from this studio I will be sure to make a class whenever I am in the area.

Breathe Together Yoga is a studio whose philosophy is all about community. Jennifer Prugh and Noell Clark are the heart and soul of this inviting community:-)

I first starting coming to the studio for the awesome tea and acai bowls at their Mandala Tea House. Eventually, I started taking classes in 2019 and even got in my 200 hour training finished during the pandemic…thanks to a quick pivot by Jennifer and Noell…and thanks to Zoom!

Every class that I have taken at Breathe has been lead by high caliber instructors whose kindness and compassion always come through…even in Zoom classes, (during the pandemic:-)

No matter if I take a flow class, a gentle/restorative class, a Qigong class or a workshop, I know that my day (and life) is going to be enriched and energized.

I would highly recommend trying Breathe Together Yoga for their outstanding classes and for the nurturing and supportive community!

Breathe Together Yoga has been a life saver during Covid. Started attending classes with the founder Jennifer Prugh first online - she had a generous offering of a free community donation based class on YouTube in the spring of 2020. My involvement grew into attending her year-long meditation series and a variety of classes by all wonderful teachers.
The teachers are involved in the workshops like students and you get to meet them and get to know them which made me feel like home. And when the studio reopened we all cried from joy!
I love the variety of classes from power to meditation and tai chi, even areal yoga and animal flow. Earliest class is at 6 and the latest at 7:15 pm which is great for busy schedules and all classes are hybrid online and in person. Best studio ever! May we Breathe Together forever!

I changed my schedule specifically to take the 6 o'clock class and when I arrived I was notified the class was cancelled. There was no update on the web site so be for warned that you may be left in the dark regarding schedule changes I won t go back.

I unfortunately had a really frustrating and unwelcome customer experience at "Breathe" studio in Los Gatos. Something I did not expect, since I generally like the studio.

I was a few minutes late to the class because of heavy traffic, spent 1 hour trying to reach from Mountain View, and they did not let me in. More than that, they made me pay 20 USD as if for the "missed class" with Classpass. In communication and correspondence with me there were very little signs of good customer care, essentially they told me to "go away" once I arrived. I really expected a more welcome treatment from this studio, they could have let me quietly go in, or at least be warm and nice. Such a shame.

Nice studio and great instructors who make each class unique. The only negative is that due to all of the awesomeness, the basic classes can sometimes get rather packed.

Every since coming to Breathe, I have become more in touch with my mind, body, and spirit. The teachers at Breathe are the best in the South Bay and the people that come to this studio is amazing and so friendly! I would definitely recommend this peaceful, sanctuary of a studio to anyone interested in learning more about themselves or yoga <3

Breathe has reestablished my love for yoga! After being disappointed by a few studios, I found myself taking my practice home. A friend of mine brought me along to a yoga class at Breathe and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms are calming, the teachers attentive, and the students respectful. There is also a cute little tea house that offers some delicious smoothies (the Hanuman is my favorite). Love the Breathe community!
