British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults of all ages, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside of 24 Hour Fitness, our swim school is open year-round, so you can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

I first came across British Swim School through 24-Hour Fitness, and I’m so glad I did! Both of my kids are currently enrolled in swim lessons, and they absolutely love it. The instructors are patient, friendly, and know exactly how to make the kids
feel comfortable in the water. I’ve seen a big improvement in their confidence and skills since they started. It’s been a great experience overall, and I really appreciate how the instructors make learning fun while still focusing on water safety. Highly recommend!

My toddler loves coming to here for his swimming lessons. All the instructors are so professional and lovely. Their app also is easy to manage absents and easy to book make ups. Would recommend to any parents who are seeking swimming lessons.

We initially picked the British Swim School in Cerritos mainly because of the indoor pool. After my kid has been taking classes for over a year here, we really like it. The team is very dedicated to help the babies get comfortable with the water and eventually work on their survival skills. My son has been doing very well and he just loves being in the water. Would recommend the school to other parents.

Great experience with British Swim. Since the beginning the staff have been great. All instructors have been awesome, especially Melody who has been an instructor to my kid the last few classes. Highly recommended. All instructors have been patient with the kids and with parents.

My 5-year-old son has been attending this swim school for less than a year, and I am absolutely thrilled with his progress! He has already advanced three levels, which is a testament to the exceptional teaching methods and supportive environment.
The staff are incredibly encouraging and patient, making sure that each child feels confident and motivated. My son loves receiving his certificates every time he graduates to the next level—it’s such a wonderful way to celebrate his achievements!
It’s been amazing to watch his swimming skills develop, and I’m so excited to see how much more he’ll grow in the future. If you’re looking for a swim school that truly cares about your child’s progress and creates a positive, nurturing atmosphere, this is the place to be! Highly recommend!

This school is amazing!! My daughter was super nervous to start this class and be in a deeper pool. She is only 3 classes in and is already asking to go to the pool everyday. She has lost all her fear and is already graduating to the next level. She is learning super quick thanks to Ms Ashli who is absolutely amazing. She pumps my daughter up and pushes her to do more while making her feel safe at all times. She is super funny and loving!! I am very please with British Swimming School 😊

British Swim is everything I have been looking for when it comes to swim lessons for my almost 4 year old. Priscilla and Ted are fantastic and very dedicated to providing safe and reliable staff and facilities. The staff is certified and do their job well; while being playful and wonderful instructors. I trust British Swim to teach my son not only basic open water survival skills but also swim skills that will bring peace of mind when my little one is around any body of water.

Ms Kay has been so wonderful with our son. She makes him feel comfortable and excited to learn to swim. He has graduated from starfish to minnow in 3 sessions! Coming from a kid who used to have anxiety about water, I cannot say anything worse than she has been a god send.
