The swim instructor Emily was decent overall. They explained the basics well and my child was able to get more comfortable in the water. However, I felt the sessions could have been more engaging and structured. There’s definitely room for improvement, but it was still a helpful experience.

I'm updating my review based on the last 6 months:
It started off very well for our kids, as you can see from my previous review, but the teachers were either taken out or they kept changing. The kids went backwards for months and they did nothing when we told them. Even when we told them that the kids are losing interest and we are considering moving them elsewhere, they didn't care. Felt like they didn't care anymore about kids learning real swimming. We don't recommend it anymore.

I have 2 kids going to BSS - both nearly first time experiences (thanks to covid all these years!). Both kids are really enjoying it and they look forward to it each week!

The teachers have been patient and are really trying to teach the kids to move up and learn to swim well! Huge shout out for Noah, Shreya, Kiana for being awesome teachers!

The consistency with having the same teachers during most classes has helped much more (kids need familiarity), and the school has been very accommodating of that too- it's showing really great results with both my kids!

They've also been accommodating about make-up classes where required.

All in all, we are all really enjoying the classes! Highly recommend it!

It's a nice place for swimming. Great teachers in pleasanton. Kid is loving it. Her favorite teacher is Noah. Noah motivates kids to go beyond limits and stretch themselves to move to next level . Very good and friendly teachers. They do not waste time and money keeping students in the same level for long, they will train and uplevel the students fast. My kid swims confidently now.
I would give 4rating due to the ambience(as it’s shared pool by the gym), but giving 5 because I can see their hard work and trying to be successful so they deserve.

My son has sensory issues and is very timid of the water. After the second lesson he was in the water, and after the 3rd session he was willingly okay to get in. The teacher has been patient and so far the school has been awesome. We will continue through the summer and maybe beyond. Will update reviews with comments if needed.
