Its been an amazing experience. Seeing my boys 11, 9 and 7 from being terrified of the water to seeing then confidently diving in the water its such a accomplishment. I my self never learn to swim and did not want them to grow up without knowing how to swim. I am very proud of my boys of how much they have learn. Very professional school! Since we switched from another place I can’t believe how much better this is. They never cancel the classes and rarely substitute swim instructors. The instructors look like they enjoy what they are doing and care about the kids. I am very happy we found this place.

Our four-year-old daughter can now, among other things, fall into a pool, flip onto her back, float, and call for help all thanks to this school. The instructors are capable and kind. We plan to send our infant son here as well.

My son loves this swim school! Mr. Sam is his Starfish teacher. Mr. Sam is fun, engaging, patient, and provides great in the moment feedback to students while still being very positive and encouraging. I am so happy with our experience. I highly recommend!

The restrooms smell bad, 1 out of 2 urinals are not working. The toilets are clogged. Other gyms I have been to, I always see staff cleaning.

We have been coming for a few months after trying 3 other programs and we absolutely love it here.
The program is designed is steps, where a child learns one skill before moving to the next set. I see a lot of progress already in my son's swimming. Love the coaches, they are super positive and energetic.
And Doris is the best, she welcomes all the swimmers, knows them by name and makes us feel at home. Highly recommend this place.

My daughter was an experienced swimmer when she started going to British Swim school in 9/2023. She has always loved swimming and learned at the age of 3. We came to British Swim in hopes to grow my daughter’s skills and technique. She was first apart of the Shark class then once they launched Barracuda in March 2024, Zoe and Jamal highly recommended her to join. It gave her the opportunity to push herself and grow her confidence in the sport she loved. Zoe has been her main instructor throughout this time and she has always been so kind, encouraging and such a great teacher for her. Being apart of this non-competitive swim team, Barracuda has really allowed growth in her technique, endurance and confidence. If you want your kids to one day be apart of competitive swim, we HIGHLY recommend British Swim School. They will make sure your child is ready to crush swim team try outs and set them up for success!

I am so glad I found this place! My kids needed a swimming refresher after COVID so we opted for semi private classes. The teachers were patient and taught them all the ropes. I initially wanted my kids to just feel comfortable with the breaststroke and feel comfortable in the water but they know all the strokes now and I’m considering putting them in the swim team now! Jamal and Zoe are wonderful! Honestly, there is quite a bit of teacher turnover but I find that to be a good thing as you get different teaching styles. Also, parking can be a little tricky since you have to compete with the Gym goers but as long as you plan for that, you’ll find parking. All in all-I’m so glad I found this place. Totally recommend!!

When we moved to the area we immediately booked our 3 yo into British Swim School. It's been absolutely worth every penny.

Our teachers have been AMAZING – like seriously, top-notch! If you're even just slightly thinking about booking swim lessons for your kiddo, hit that "yes" button Immediately! Jamal and his team are so accommodating, and I can't stress enough how much our little one has grown to love it. She's now totally comfy in the water, and we're about to book our infant son in too! Highly recommend - 10/10!

My 4 year old has been to two other swim schools and our experience with the British Swim School blew them out of the water (pun intended). I was hesitant to sign him up for a class inside 24 hour fitness, but am so glad I did! They make learning to swim fun by singing songs, playing games, and I appreciate that they keep an eye on the kids skill level to ensure they’re safe and in an age/skill appropriate class. The pool manager Zoe is communicative, friendly, and has great customer service. Highly recommend!

Amazing game-based swim school with kind, wonderful staff members.

We have tried various swim clubs and lessons, and my girls reported that British Swim school is “by far” their favorite. I would have to bribe them with other lessons, but they love going to British Swim School. The owner, Jamal, is really professional and reachable with questions and comments. The teachers have all been extremely top notch - warm, knowledgeable of the curriculum, and on task with the students. We will continue with this organization through the levels and into their non-competitive swim team endurance work.

We've been very happy with our experience with British Swim School at the PQ location. Administratively, they are responsive and communicative, and the quality of the lessons has been solid. Our 3yr old son had difficulty getting into the water. He would cry nonstop until I get into the water with him or we leave the pool. Jamal and Zoe put it a lot of effort to help my son get out from his separation anxiety. I tried two other places that provided swim lessons for toddlers but they never put in the effort to help my son get comfortable with the water. The Coach in British Swim School in PQ is amazing. If you want to put you kid in swimming class, I will recommend this place 100%.

I have 3 kids (ages 3, 5, and 8), and they are all doing a great job learning the basics of water safety as well as swimming. The instructors are patient and energized, and we love coming to class every week. It's great to see how quickly my kids want to jump in the water, and in a small group, other students are encouraged by their classmates as well. The app we use to access classes is great, and Jamal who runs the school is super helpful and engaged with the classes. One last thought--it's nice to have a heated pool for the kids. Classes can go year-round which is awesome!
