Our daughter has been attending the British Swim School for a little over a year now in both Redwood City and Sunnyvale. She loves the instructors Hart, Samaria, Emma and Marissa and Marissa and Shawna do an amazing job running a tight ship. They are all very pleasant to interact with and professional our daughter went from not wanting to even touch the water and being scared to always looking forward to going to class. The important thing is to be patient a parent as once it all clicks for the child the progress is amazing! We are very happy our daughter has learned to swim and so grateful for the instructors support!

We tried different swim schools and this is one of the best. Kids really enjoy learning there and the teachers are super patient and educated. Shawna, the owner, is super responsive when you need to schedule a makeup or move to the next level. Really enjoy the experience!

Where do I begin. We've had such a great experience I've already recommended it out to everyone that will listen. Looking for great instructors? Check. Looking for lessons more then once a week? Check. Looking for an indoor pool so as not to be bothered by weather? Check. Looking for a place that's not over-crowded so your child can actually swim in a straight line without fear of hitting someone? Check. Looking for a school where your child can actually hear their swim instructor? Check. Looking for a school that provides levels and goals with a feeling of accomplishment when moving up a level? Check. Need to schedule a make-up class? Check. Can't remember your swim schedule? They have an app for that! With all this I thought...oh, I must have to compromise on cost. Then after comparing time and cost of other well known schools (Peninsula & King), I find the price comparable. Not to mention the owner, Shawna, is amazing. She worked with me on my kids scheduling, finding the right swim level, and overall just pleasant in the sense that she and her staff immediately felt like family...after Day 1! My kids (age 9 and 5) perspective? They have told their friends and their friends' parents about the school. On day 1, they were beyond excited BEFORE they even got in the pool to swim with British Swim School and they haven't changed their tune yet! So many thanks!

We started at the British Swim School based on a recommendation from a friend, and we are glad we took it! All of the teachers have been so patient and encouraging. We've seen progress in the short time since we've started attending. The small class size means our kids get lots of one on one attention. We appreciate the focus on learning water safety skills before focusing on how to swim. Shawna, the owner, is so lovely. She is always around to answer any questions and to put our minds at ease that our kids are doing just fine in the class when we are worried they aren't.

A+ swim school! We have seen great results in our toddlers swimming abilities and confidence in the water. He learns new skills each week and its amazing to see his progression in a very short amount of time. The classes are small, the instructor is caring and truly invested in the success of our child. The owner Shawna is very flexible and easy to adapt to our ever changing schedule. I highly recommend this swim school for any parent looking to give their child a positive and effective swim education.
