British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside 24 Hour Fitness, we're open year-round and welcome both gym members and non-members. You can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

I signed up my kiddo for the "tadpole" level classes when he was about 8 months old. Our experience with BSS has been nothing short of wonderful. The owner, Sean, has been our primary instructor. He treats each class, and child, with such care - is always warm and inviting, and ensures the children are always safe. My son is now a little over a year, and we just moved up to "swimboree" level. He got to ring a little bell to celebrate his graduation; he was also given a special "happy birthday" swim cap and goody bag shortly after his birthday. As a parent, these are the little things that do not go unnoticed.
My husband and I rotate being in the water and it's something we look forward to as a family every weekend.

They were great! Made the kids feel comfortable. By the end of the summer, the kids were doing stuff on their own. We may come back before next summer to get them acquainted with swimming again. We had a three year-old and a one year-old.
