We've been with this company since 2022 with old owner. That time was no problem, even when they transitioned with new owner. But somehow problems came up few months after they offered to Glendora (I originally joined in Upland) because they hv instructor who knows to teach special needs. The problems started:
1. from they changed the instructor to other kids (with the same time my daughter's schedule) & gave different instructors every other week.
2. also they just cancelled the session because they said the system closed my daughter's acct (which I don't believe it because as soon as I sent cancellation request program, their system sent me email confirmation the cancellation will take effect at the end of the month.
3. they re-opened the acct again but they set the schedule without my approval & the regular schedule already filled in with someone else.
So I felt they tried to get rid of my daughter. It sad that they work with Regional Center but they treat special needs kid & family like that.
It's a ZERO STAR !!!

When our boys first began their journey with Upland British Swim School, they didn’t know how to swim—and one of them was genuinely afraid of the water. Fast forward two years, and they’re swimming like little fish! More importantly, they’ve learned a life-saving skill that brings us so much peace of mind.

One of the most powerful parts of their experience was Survival Week, where the kids practice swimming in regular clothes to prepare for the unexpected. It’s an incredible way to teach them how to stay calm and safe if they ever find themselves in water fully clothed. Along the way, they also learned how to float, tread water, and build the foundation for professional-level swimming—all in a way that was engaging, supportive, and fun.

Our boys now confidently swim to the bottom of 9-foot pools to grab toys, and seeing that confidence in them brings us so much joy. We are beyond grateful for the team at Upland British Swim School—for their grace, patience, kindness, and the way they made every lesson something our kids looked forward to. They’ve also been so understanding with our family’s schedule, always working with us when life got busy.

This school didn’t just teach our kids to swim—they empowered them, and we’re truly thankful.

Great a pleasure having my swimming class here. Mia is an excellent instructor, very encouraging, efficient and fun to work with. The only reason I want to stop is my shoulder is hurt, want to have more rest to fully recover.

Oh my goodness is amazing here. Sarah is so good with my granddaughter and other stuff is amazing as well. I’m so happy they brought this to this British swim school is amazing

My son and I both attend swim lessons as an adult and child combo. We absolutely love it. They customize swim lessons to your level and are very patient. They focus on safety and learning strokes at your place. Great place to start if you are scared of the water or just getting started.

I highly recommend this school, especially if you're an adult who needs/wants to learn how to swim. I am not rushed during my lessons, and Mia's (swim teacher) works with me at my own pace. Thank you!!!!!
