My experience with them was 100% positive. My children are 5 years old, and in just ten half-hour classes they learned to dive, swim across the pool, and save themselves. It was incredible! I look forward to enrolling them again next summer.

I have known the owner for some years now and all I can say is that she and her employees have created an amazing swim school. Bullfrog swim school is the absolute BEST!! We have had both of our children participate since they were very young (1year?).
Our daughter (age 5) is currently learning butterfly! We are thrilled with the kind, thorough, yet fun instruction she is receiving… which encourages her to keep advancing! Swim team here we come!
Our son (age 4) who is less excited about swimming in general has THE BEST teacher, Miss Ashley, who is so fun, patient, and encouraging! She is working miracles with his swimming skills and we are so grateful for her help, making swimming a fun/ successful experience vs. scary.
Darla the owner is outstanding! She truly cares about swimmers and has worked with us to ensure our son’s success in the pool.
As a former swim instructor, I can also attest to the techniques they use- all excellent! Students come out educated and successful because of their fun curriculum! Thank you Bullfrog!!

As a first-time mom, I was nervous about booking classes for my son. However, I think the instructors at Bullfrogs are great! My son worked with Nick (black hair) for most of his ten lessons. He also swam with a couple of other instructors on "extra" days. I think it's cool that they offer those additional discounted days for those registered.

The only downside for me is the inflexibility of the office. When graduation approached, discounted packages were offered, which I was ecstatic about, seeing how much my son enjoyed swimming. But after doing the math, it would have been cheaper to purchase a larger package at the beginning. However, it's hard to spend over $1K if you don't know whether your child will take to swimming or not, especially with it being their first time. I tried to convey this and extend his lessons as if I had purchased 20 classes. That was quickly denied, which makes me feel like it's more about the money than the experience or parents. We're talking $75 - it shouldn't hurt them financially in the grand scheme of things. Sure, I could spend the $75, but it's the principle that disappoints me.

Otherwise, I would recommend Bullfrogs! My son had a blast, and the instructors are excellent. I just wish the office was more understanding.

When I say this the best swim school I mean it! 3 years bringing our daughter here. We bring her every year to build memory and she enjoys here time at Bullfrog. We want to make sure she is a strong swimmer and doesn’t panic if something ever happens. This year Ms. Dana is our coach and she extremely good. The right amount of push with a sweet side. She’s working on endurance doing her laps, breathing long distance, pizza slice stroke and much more!

I feel so lucky to have found Bullfrog. We tried other places and there were various issues. Bullfrog was professional, laid out exactly what to except and gave me the results I wanted for my child. I love their location and appreciate all the staff members who were very attentive to our needs. The scheduling is very well organized, they offer make up lessons which most of the schools I called did not, and our instructor knew when to push and when to not push my child. I encourage anyone who wants their child to learn to swim and also how to save themselves to sign up here. I can’t be more pleased. Easy to write a good review for them.

Wow. I recommend BullFrog Swim School every chance I get. The teachers for my kids were loving and patient. My kids hated the first 3-5 lessons. Cried the entire time. Management came out and gave us pointers, some small toys and gave me plenty of encouragement that they would eventually come around all at once. They were so right. My son can save himself, and my 2 year old is close. If you’re unhappy, contact management and they will make changes needed for you to be happy. I didn’t need to but the owner is so responsive and has her eye on students who are struggling. We love bullfrog. Thanks for helping keep my kids safe near water.

Bullfrog sure knows what they are doing! By the 4th lesson our *very* resistant swimmers were past their tears and could hardly wait to get to their lessons! Miss Kamilah was absolutely wonderful! Just so incredibly patient and fun and helpful! our girls adored her! Every instructor we observed was just as patient and kind. The front desk staff was equally great! We look forward to building on the foundations they learned here and recommend your program whole heartedly!

This is our 1st time going to any swim school. We have had an awesome experience these photos are from his 1st and 2nd class day, he's already leveled up. His instructor, Gianna is patient and uses verbal positive reinforcement, it's just been an excellent experience for the whole family.

Can I give them 10 stars? After 4 sessions, both my kids, ages 3 and 5, are nearly swimming on their own. Their coach Brittney ,is amazing! She has patience and is super energetic and engaging. The facilities are immaculate and clean. From the moment you drive in, you can tell this facility takes great pride as the grounds are clean and it is well maintained.

Bullfrog Swim School was an exceptional experience. Sign up, scheduling, and communication from the staff was prompt and courteous. My daughter (5) and son (3) had such a wonderful experience with their instructor Miss Claire. Her expertise and patience got them swimming and able to save themselves. Today was our last lesson, and Miss Claire sacrificed most of her break after the lesson was over to give my daughter the time and space necessary to go down the slide. Bullfrog Swim School is the best swim school here in the central valley Darla and her staff are professional and give there best with there swim lessons my children can save themselves and can swim different strokes in the water. With the whole pandemic that was the only outing my children looked forward to was being at Bullfrog Swim School. Definitely 5 stars and more they are wonderful.

My family loves Bullfrog Swim School! I am so glad that we connected with Darla through a random moment and she had the opportunity to share Bullfrog with us. My kids have been taking lessons for a couple of years now and they have so much fun. The instructors are knowledgable, calm and very friendly. I love watching the instructors interact and take interest in what my kids enjoy. Darla and Kim (office staff) genuinely care for all of the children that come for lessons. One of the best moments (and quite possibly the most nerve-wracking) is seeing my younger two save themselves. I am no longer worried about them going swimming, because I know if something were to happen they know how to pull themselves out.

The individual attention that private lessons give was so important for my kids to learn as quickly as they did. This was our first time with Bullfrog Swim School (the location in Clovis) and we had such a positive experience. We signed up our two boys (5 and 7) and they had their lessons together. Their instructor was awesome and the two of them learned quickly what to do if they fall in the pool as well as fine-tuning their swimming skills. Today was their last day and they both ended the lesson confident that they can save themselves and know what to do should they fall in the pool. Great place and we are so happy. Socially distanced, wasn't crowded, and friendly staff. My youngest was very sad that it was their last day. Will definitely sign them up again. Highly recommend!

2 of our sons took swim lessons a few years back, we had to switch teachers for dragging the kids through and making them choke on water instead of teaching them. She was quickly switched and the second teacher on point. And they progressed great, we’re able to jump in with clothes on and actually save themselves.
My third son had lessons last year. Again- started with a lady dragging him through and choking him up on water. Switched teacher and she was tooooooo relaxed with him and basically didn’t teach him. Would let him hold onto her and walk him into the deep in, try to get him to swim, instead of teaching to tread water and float, he’d sink and then she’d pull him up and walk around consoling him for 2 minutes at a time- drown him again and hold him. He did not learn to swim- he did not save himself. He kneeled by the end of the pool without being fully clothed like supposed to and jumped to her . I talked to the owner who offered more lessons, but being so disappointed in both teachers- I gave up on this school and went elsewhere. Now he is excited to swim instead of being terrified to go. These instructors killed his confidence. And are wayyyy overpriced. They claim you are getting a deal. It’s ALWAYS 375$!!!! Don’t let them fool you. Go to a local high school when they have the pools open in the summer and get them free/super cheap lessons. If you like your pocket book ripped open, without guarantees you’ll learn to swim, go with bullfrog.

What I love about this school is their motto, “I can save myself!” They really teach children to swim and they do it at the child’s pace. They are respectful of the child and make it a positive experience. They are so organized and their policies help me understand what to expect. Last year was very happy. This year not so much. I guess I expect more. First coach was switched by school. I appreciate that, she wasn't that good. Second coach very good but always late and not good at commination. Kids did learn lots just expected more for.$60/hour.

This person litters our streets with her ILLEGALLY POSTED signs creating blight in our city. They have NO RESPECT for Fresno and Clovis citizens. Go to a business that conducts itself with pride and is actually legitamite. They think they can post signs on our city streets and could care less about others. AVOID THEM. I would love for the backlogged city to catch up to them, and I'm told it will happen eventually.

I cannot say enough good things about Bullfrog Swim School! Not only has our son gained confidence and overcome his fear of the water in just a few lessons, but now he LOVES to swim! From the truly wonderful teachers we've had, to the excellent pricing, and most importantly, the fact that my son now knows how to SAVE HIMSELF should he ever fall in a pool, there is nothing more that I could ask for in a swim school! The fact that we received private lessons, where the instructors were able to focus solely on my child, for less than what some of the other schools charged for group lessons and no registration fees makes Bullfrog #1 in my book!

We LOVE Bullfrog Swim School! My 4yo and 2 yo have been taking lessons for the last several weeks and the amount of progress they have made is amazing. We have been at Jan Thomas the last 3 summers starting when my oldest was 12 months. I did enjoy our time at JT and how they taught my son to not fear the water however I knew that my 2nd would not do so well in that type of atmosphere. Bullfrog comes to your home for no additional cost with a nice quiet peaceful lesson, no annoying registration fees, flexible change/cancellation policy and we have grown to love their way of instructing over Jan Thomas now that I was brave enough to try someone new! My boys absolutely adore our instructor! She always arrives on time and is willing to go the extra mile that is very much appreciated. The owner also goes above and beyond to accommodate last minute requests and is very flexible when things come up and you have to reschedule. If your on the fence give them a try...trust me I'm sure you will love them!

I can't say enough GREAT things about Bullfrog Swim School. My nearly 4 year old has been taking lessons this summer and the instructors have been so great with her. They know exactly how to handle her and I have been amazed at her progress. She can save herself and is such a confident swimmer. At the start of the summer she wouldn't leave the steps of the pool. She is now such a good, confident swimmer she jumps in on her own.
The owner is so good about contacting me regarding scheduling and the instructors are always on time for our scheduled lesson. The pool is clean and a great environment.
I have also used one of their lifeguards for a private party at my home. It was a last minute booking and they were able to accommodate me. The lifeguard they sent was very nice and did exactly what he was supposed to do. It was such a peace of mind having a qualified lifeguard watching over the kids in my pool.
Great owner, great instructors, great prices, you can't go wrong with Bullfrog Swim School.

Bullfrog Swim School is alright, besides they cancel alot and seem to be very snobby and rude and have heard them make comments about other swim parents. Which i think is totally wrong and should not be done in front of other Swim parents. Made me think twice about them and cant say ill be spreading the word for them.
