This workout is a joke. There are 6 rounds so they have you swap stations several times. The back and forth is inefficient and takes up a good portion of precious time in the class. Heart rate does NOT stay up during transitions either … they make you clean the station EVERY single transition (a way to minimize cleaning costs maybe)? I signed up for class to workout, not spend half of it cleaning … my last but biggest issue is that they do not allow modifications and have a big long list of rules posted inside the studio of what you are not allowed to do. If I am paying for it and it’s MY workout, I’m going to do what I want. I had an instructor come and throw a sandbag on me to go “heavier” when I am lower back sensitive. Instructors must be very insecure and selfish to force clients to follow their lead, even when it is NOT best for each individual client’s health !!! Yikes, avoid like the plague.
Lol also they used to offer a free rewards points in exchange for a google / yelp review …

From my very first day at BÜNDA, I felt so welcomed. The staff is attentive, the coaches truly care, and the workouts are unlike anything I’ve ever done. Each class pushes me in the best way and I can already see and feel the changes. The energy here is amazing—it keeps me motivated and excited to come back every time!

I absolutely LOVE Bunda!! The entire team is so kind, supportive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the workouts. Every instructor is amazing, but Megan’s class is my favorite. She’s such a kind, encouraging, and motivating instructor who always pushes you to do your best. I genuinely look forward to coming here every single day!

Worst experience ever. My sister bought me a class and I was so excited to try Bunda. We arrived 15 minutes early and were told that we needed to come “30 minutes early” to class, and that we could not take the class or receive a refund. Their system is completely ridiculous, and a terribly stupid way to attract and retain new customers. Such a disappointment and will never do Bunda. There are so many better and more welcoming alternatives.

Love , love, love Bunda !!! The concept and style of training is designed to build muscle and lose body fat. I like the low impact, and the cardio is always still very challenging , I love it!
The, front desk gals, trainers , managers and fellow bundles are awesome!! .. I would definitely recommend giving this training facility a shot.
If getting into a healthy lifestyle, routine are your goal, this is the spot, you will get great results !

Suzy is a fitness guru and it shows from her cues, rhythm and motivation. Only class I’ll take outside of my own fitness business because it’s the only one worth the drive! And Brittany at the front desk greets you with great energy to start/end that experience!

Just took my second class & absolutely loved it! The instructors specifically Jenn & Michelle were so welcoming & made me feel so comfortable at a new studio! Devin - the store manager has been extremely helpful & went above and beyond to make sure I am set up for success! The vibe of the workout space is so fun & motivating! Just joined the 8 week challenge & can't wait to see my progress at the Manhattan Beach Bunda Studio!! Thank you to the team for making me so comfortable!

I have fallen HEAD OVER HEELS for Bunda, especially the South Bay location and team. According to my husband, I'm obsessed. And I think that is probably a fair statement because I truly love it, crave it, and am genuinely upset if I have to miss a day.
The trainers are excellent. The staff is delightful and accommodating. The vibe is inviting, friendly, "on the ball" and with great attention to detail.
The programming at Bunda is top notch and why it's not only so enjoyable, but effective. The combination of the stairs + strength is a phenomenal workout, and one that you can actually do 7 days a week if you want to, without taxing your body in a negative way. It's also REP BASED, which is critical as it forces you to get the full workout in regardless of your speed. I am on the slower side, for example, and if the class was programmed by time I would be doing half the reps as everyone else! Majority of other fitness classes are time based and this is always a downside as the umber of reps you do, especially with Strength, is critical for seeing results and getting stronger.
For hopefully helpful context, I consider myself to be in the "intense" or "advanced" category of individuals who workout regularly and have an "athlete" mentality where I love to push myself and get the most out of each workout. I'll admit, I was hesitant at first that Bunda wouldn't be enough for me and I was totally wrong.
Bunda is what you make it and that's the best part about it. I have good friends that are more moderate-to-lite worker outers, and they equally love and thrive at Bunda. It's great for all levels but certainly challenging enough for those on the far end of the spectrum (like me!).
I discovered Bunda right as I found out I was pregnant, and it's been a total godsend. Previously i was doing functional strength classes at a local gym, which I had been going to for 2+ years regularly, but I was finally starting to need something a bit different in my 2nd trimester as my body was changing.
Bunda was the perfect fit as again, it's as challenging as you want to make it (I continually increase my base pace and use heavy weights) but it's also low impact. The trainers are also excellent with providing modifications and advising on the correct form (which is key regardless but especially when pregnant).
On the whole, I can't recommend this studio and workout enough! I am going to miss it dearly during my postpartum hiatus and will be THRILLED when I can return.

LIFE CHANGING
I have been struggling with my fitness journey and was afraid to join Bunda knowing how out of shape I have been. With the encouragement from a friend who joined, I started going and it has changed my life. I feel stronger everywhere and my butt and legs have never looked better. I am 32 and I feel like I am in my similar fitness physic as I was in college. I really feel like Bunda is the right challenge for me, F45 felt easier and Barry's was a lot. However, now that I've been doing Bunda for 2 months, I feel like I could challenge myself with running and I have had more stamina in my walks.

Obsessed with this workout. I have done everything from kickboxing, barre, Orangetheory, F45, etc and Bunda has given be the best results so far. I’ve been going consistently for about 3 months and have already noticed such a huge difference. 10/10. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Bunda enough!!! I have been seeing a sports masseuse for 6 months now and after only one month at Bunda, he asked me what I have been doing differently because my muscles are way stronger and healthier. This method WORKS and I owe it to Michelle, Devin, & Kelsey! Michelle is so uplifting, knowledgeable, and encouraging and Devin & Kelsey bring incredible vibes to every class. 10/10 recommend.

Since joining Bünda, my fitness journey has been nothing short of amazing. I'm healthier, stronger, and more energized than ever before (even with 3 little ones). And yes, my booty feels and looks stronger too! I started going to Bunda a few months ago and was thrilled to find out that they were opening up a Manhattan Beach location as it was closer to me. Once I began going here I started training with Michelle. She is one of the best trainers I’ve ever trained with. She is very descriptive in the movements, does a wonderful job at educating you on the correct form and why it is important. She does all of this with a smile on her face which makes you feel so confident and comfortable in her classes. Michelle’s energy is infectious and there is a reason her classes are always full. I recommend Bunda for anyone trying to really improve their body especially the lower half!

I have been working out at Bunda for approximately 2 years now. In March of this year, right after the Manhattan Beach location opened, I decided to check it out just to change things up a bit. This was my best decision because Bunda Manhattan is simply exceptional!
In my opinion, it’s one of the best gyms in LA/Manhattan! It’s like training with the personal attention of a coach but with the energy of a group class! Every exercise sequence is thoughtfully designed and fully explained to you. The coaches are extremely skilled and qualified, the equipment is brand new, and the staff is outstanding! This includes the excellent manager, Devin, who is very present and attentive.
I’ve tried so many gyms in LA, and I can confidently say that if you’re looking for a high-quality gym, Bunda is the place to be!!

Not only is Bunda the best comprehensive workout I have ever had, but I love the community built in the short time the Manhattan Beach location has been open. The manager Devin is not only a friendly and welcoming face but also an incredible instructor! They take the time to correct your form and encourage you along the way. In all all the times I've needed correcting (there have been a lot) I have never felt shamed or embarrassed. The front desk team is also great! Shoutout to my favorite instructors Devin, Mayra, Sierra and Michelle!!!
