I called and they told me that for me to cancel i need to write them an email they said they would text me an email to my number so I can email them..never got a text with the email and they keep charging me. I already have a gym membership somewhere bigger and better than this place. Not sure why they lag to cancel my membership.

I’ve been attending classes at the studio for the past six months, and while I’ve generally had positive experiences, my recent encounter with an instructor named Sophia was disappointing.
During a recent class, I was told I couldn’t have coffee in the studio, despite having done so without issue for months. More concerning was the insistence that only pregnant women could use dumbbells, while sandbags were deemed the only acceptable option. As a Pilates instructor myself, I was eager for a meaningful explanation, but Sophia could only provide basic cues, like focusing on the belly button to the spine, and didn’t offer any deeper, more insightful guidance. I noticed many participants performing exercises incorrectly, with improper spinal alignment, and Sophia didn’t correct these mistakes.
Additionally, when I had concerns about the ankle straps and approached Sophia outside the studio, I was still gathering my belongings and hadn’t left yet. Instead of engaging in a respectful conversation, she just pointed out that I still had my ankle straps on and told me to remove them. This interaction felt unprofessional, leaving me feeling undervalued as a client.
Overall, I hope future classes focus more on constructive feedback and professionalism.

Bunda has been the best gift I can give myself! I’ve never felt better and seen more results than I have at Bunda. Shout out to the entire team at Bunda Woodland Hills, the staff is amazing, Apollonia is amazing and has a great team, Diana is so kind and personable, anytime I walk in I’m greeted by my name! Josh has the best classes with the best energy and playlist!

I’ve been working out my whole life—running, weight lifting, kickboxing, yoga, tennis—and at 41, with three kids, I started Bundha 6 months ago. Honestly, it’s one of the best workout classes I’ve ever done. The space is clean, and the staff are nice and friendly.
It’s cardio, yes, but it also focuses on weight lifting, which becomes essential as you enter your forties. My body has never felt this strong and toned. I highly recommend Bundha for any woman looking to prepare her body for the perimenopause phase.
If you enjoy intense classes, Josh is an amazing instructor who will push you in all the right ways. Totally worth giving it a shot!

first and foremost, i got introduced to bunda at this particular location and I’ve been loyal ever since!
The entire staff are absolute gems and really invest into their clients and pay attention to detail in all aspects. Hence why i keep coming back almost everyday.
I’d like to give all the instructors their shine and i will!
DEEANA, LO, KAMRYN,NIKA AND LILY (these are who I’ve taken) have been THEE MAIN REASONS why i keep coming back.
Their energy, the way they all push me in their own way, the time they take to pay attention to detail or have a quick convo, their vibes and ambiance is a game changer as to why i won’t try other bundas. lol
HOWEVER, This one’s for Lily, i take her class every Sunday and when she’s subbing for 6A classes. I love her energy, her playlist, the way she stops and checks on us whether are form is off or right, she’s there letting us know how to improve and get better overall. She makes you feel welcoming and certainly pushes you throughout the entire class!
She’s a real sweetheart, and what sold me on lily is that she’s always asking about my mom after she took her class lol.

I’m a fan! Finding a studio that fits your needs (cardio & strength training + no/low impact + knowledgeable trainers!) is a tall order! I found it in Bunda and I feel strong and my back does not hurt! Josh is a fantastic trainer whose instruction is extremely knowledgeable. My back used to hurt after deadlifts, now that I’m doing them correctly, everything is stronger! And the stairs! Deceptively challenging cardio! Thanks Bunda for checking my boxes!

This review is long overdue. I've been going to Bunda since this location opened, a little over a year ago. Before Bunda, I tried every group fitness class available, but when I heard about Bunda coming to WH, I was beyond excited. I have grown to love the stairmaster, and I wanted to get stronger. Since working out here, my body has completely transformed.
I suffer from sciatica and initially worried it would worsen, but the opposite happened. By strengthening my glutes, legs, and supporting muscles, my back pain has decreased significantly. Feeling myself getting stronger here is unlike anything I've experienced, even with personal training. I’ve never been able to lift the weights I have that I do here with the progressive overload. The concept works, you just have to trust the process.
Every trainer is extremely knowledgeable and, unlike other group fitness classes, they will pause the class to ensure you get the movements right. It took some time to find the right schedule, but I do four days a week (M/T/Th/F), splitting two upper body and two lower body days. Occasionally, I add an extra class, but four days works great for me. I do yoga on my off days or just walk, something low-impact.
The trainers at Bunda are outstanding and dedicated to finding the right fit for you. They push you just enough, creating a supportive and welcoming environment. If you're looking for a fitness experience that will make you stronger and improve your overall physical shape, I highly recommend trying Bunda. You won't regret it!

I have been coming to this location for several months and really enjoy it! Upon entering, you’re greeted with smiling faces (even early in the morning!) and a positive attitude. It feels like everyone is happy to be there. All of the trainers are knowledgeable and kind while also encouraging you to push yourself and helping you with form/technique. The facility is always clean and the cheery on top is the cold orange towel you get at the end of your workout. With all that said, I also love this type of training that focuses on strength and conditioning. My booty has never looked better and the rest of me is getting more sculpted. Really happy I found this special place.

Bunda has completely transformed my body. Let me explain. I have 3 kids - twins born a year ago, and let me say, twin pregnancy does a number on the bod!! I thought there was no going back. But after 7 months of Bunda my booty sits HIGH. My stomach is flat. I feel strong and confident. And the best of all, my mood rides high after class. It all happened by staying consistent with 3 classes a week and not really adjusting nutrition. Now, I’m focusing more on my protein intake and am excited to see what my body can do next. I've been to every workout class possible in LA. I just love a good class. I had to explore many of them to just find out that BUNDA is the best!
Exactly what I was looking for: heavy weights and a good cardio that doesn't feel boring.
I've been going more frequently and I feel my butt STRONG. Consequently my posture is better and back is also more defined.

I’ve never stayed consistent with a workout class or program before but I have been consistent with Bunda for the last 2 1/2 months! All the trainers here are wonderful and motivational! I love the energy in the classes and the variety of music played. The whole team here is welcoming and so friendly! Even if I wasn’t feeling motivated, I’d still be incentivized to go because of how fantastic the entire team is. The team remembered that I went on vacation and asked me about it when I got back, you simply don’t get that any other workout facility. The community that is formed here is wonderful and I truly feel so grateful to have found this location! If you’re on the fence about trying it out, I would 100% recommend.

I can’t get enough of this place their branch in Woodland Hills !! Love Love Love it !! I come in dry and go out sweaty but it makes me feel I worked hard . The staff is amazing each and every one of them . You can feel everything muscle in your body and muscles you never knew that existed before .

Bunda Woodland Hills is the best. I joined a few months ago and I found a new community of confident females who uplift one another. Each time I walk into the studio to take a class I’m greeted with smiled from Sophia, Nika, Lily, Nea, Deanna and Alex. Each instructor is amazing in their own way and will challenge you to put your best glute forward 😊 I go out of my way to take Alex’s class because she’s very attentive if she knows you’re injured. I started out with a weaker left knee and I’m happy to say that things are more stable and strong. Bunda is amazing but especially the crew at Woodland Hills.

I love love love Bunda they make working out apart of my daily routine. Every teacher is very knowledgeable and knows how to safely push everyone to their best limits. I’m used to going to the gym and doing my own workouts but Bunda allows me to just show up and still have a great workout. Makes my week so much easier. The other reviews talking about people being rude is just a misunderstanding bc yes during class they will tell you to correct your form and they might be yelling, but it’s cause it’s loud in there and wouldn’t you yell if music was blasting too ? Never have gotten mean vibes and I’ll continue to come here 🙏🏼

I first discovered Bunda when I went to their West Hollywood studio and immediately loved the fact that this class incorporates both a high intensity workout at a low impact while also including strength training. As someone who used to attend studios such as Barry's and Orange Theory, I was looking for something that would give me the fat-burning opportunity but also didn't involve stressing my body with intense interval running every class like other studios, and Bunda was the perfect solution. Now that they opened a studio near me, I love to incorporate their classes into my weekly workout routine since they have different focus areas on different days. The instructor Ray on Arms & Abs day is my favorite! He is so motivating, is clear on what moves are next and his music is awesome. I highly recommend this studio if you want to see results and have a little fun with it.

I agree with the many other reviewers that the instructor Joshua Engle is incredibly rude and treats people like they are dumb. Wish Bunda would replace him with another instructor for Sundays, as that is a popular time to take class and I will not take Joshua’s class.

I come to classes weekly and although the workout is good, it’s the exact same every week with no variability. I understand progressive overload and consistency, but you think they change up the moves now & then. Also I’ve taken classes with Joshua and I cannot stand how he changes the song every 20-30 seconds. I’m not sure if it’s for a specific reason, but it really throws me & the flow of my workout off and there’s never a playlist or rhyme or reason to the songs, it’s always the most random mix. He also screams into the microphone. Isn’t that the purpose of a mic, to not scream? I’ve also made comments that the room was uncomfortably cold (other members agreed and were even shivering) and I was met with a dirty look.

I tried out a three day pass and ended up signing up for the Journey membership , I have been a member for about three months now. I enjoy the classes with all the instructors , you can feel that they truly are passionate about what they do and are helpful along your journey. I am beyond grateful for Bunda. I walked into Bunda after not working out for over a year. Day one the instructors and staff met me where I was at. The staff and instructors have provided me with so much support and encouragement. They push us to be the best version of ourselves. All the instructors are amazing! I was so excited that they opened one closer to my house , i used to go to 3rd location and had an amazing experience but wow the manger and the instructor jusha are so rude , i pay for luxury experience but yet Enough i got the worst customer service i have ever seen in my life . It’s sad coz i like the class! I try to give them couple of chances but they fail ! Hopefully they change the staff so i can go back ! In this case i want my money back also

I've been attending classes at Bunda Woodland Hills since the day the opened, and it's been the best. I was never a person who loved working out or went to the gym daily, and Bunda changed that. I honestly love the workouts and the trainers. Been *mostly* taking classes trained by Sophia, Joshua, or Nicolette. They are all extremely helpful and attentive.

I had to walk out of my workout class towards the beginning because Joshua Engle one of the instructors made me feel very uncomfortable and was extremely rude! I have been here multiple times and love Bunda classes along with all the other instructors I’ve had. I hope he understands that he is supposed to provide a positive and motivating environment for everyone. I felt treated as if I was in a middle school class and I didn’t appreciate that.

I joined this location as a founding member on a whim after seeing an ad on Instagram and was immediately hooked. There are classes continually starting at 6:00 AM which work perfectly with my busy schedule.
Studio is small but, clean. Class is set up with Stairmasters on one side and stations (where floor exercised are done) on the other side. On my inaugural visit, I was walked over and explained the lay of the land however, it's pretty self-explanatory.
There's a sense of accountability you get when you are coming to class. Instructors will make corrections/modifications when needed and really make you work for the short hour you are in class. Honestly, you get what you put into it.
Validation is annoying but, a minor inconvenience as there is plenty of parking.
Lastly, I love the Manager of the location, Sophie. She's always very nice and available if you need feedback or really, anything else. I particularly love attending classes she's leading as she's more likely to notice corrections that need to be made or push for you to do more/go heavier.

Feeling the need to take a moment and share my thoughts about my Bunda journey. I have been a member for well over a year now but I always had to drive quite a distance to get a class in so I couldn’t go as often as I would have liked. Once I knew they were opening the Woodland Hills location, I was stoked.
Bunda has become a way of life for me and part of my everyday routine. I am actually taking five to six classes a week. I LOVE that I can always go at my own pace on the stair master and never feel obligated to push myself too hard during base pace. I am also lifting much heavier now and it’s crazy how my body is transforming, and I am NOT getting bulky. I am actually leaning out. It’s wonderful!!
I enjoy each class and I love the variety of teachers, both men and women. Each one of them has something different to offer which is great. I also have a ton of respect for them teaching these classes as there is so much involved between floor and stairs. They explain each exercise beforehand and are always walking the floor to assist and make sure everyone is doing the exercises properly. That being said, people….please come on time to class, clean up after yourselves and have some respect for everyone in the room.
Sophie is lovely and always available for questions and assistance if needed. Congrats again on this location and see you soon!! Bunda Rocks!! Bring all your friends! 😊

I attended my first class (Butt and Legs) today, and it went well. Sophia was clear in her instructions, and I enjoyed the music very much. This class was definitely a challenge. I plan to check out their other offerings.
I must admit I hesitated about coming. A couple of the reviews here were quite harsh and painted a bleak picture. I have no reason to believe that they weren't let down by the experience, but it is important to check it out for yourself. Reviews can be instructive but shouldn't be the sole determinant.

Bunda is everything I needed in my life, and then some. Let me start by saying, I am not a workout class person. I am the person who wants the toned body without having to do the work... Ha! Unfortunately my genes aren't onboard.
My best friend just completed her 800th (that's right, EIGHT HUNDREDTH) Bunda class, so when they were opening the Woodland Hills location - she encouraged me to try it. After months of excuses as to why this would not fit into my busy schedule yada yada yada, I finally came around... Sophie answered all my questions with patience and grace, and I ultimately gave it a try because of her!
One month and 18 classes later, I am hooked and seeing major results. It is a supportive, friendly and goal oriented environment. Sophie learned and remembered my name very early on - which made me feel so welcome into this new world! The staff walked me through all the equipment on day one, and the trainers explain all the moves, so it makes sense to me.
As a busy working mother of 2, I LOVE being told to put my phone away for an hour so I can focus on myself. I know their rules and policies are in place for a reason, and I respect that. Safe to say I am a BIG FAN of Bunda, and the Bunda family, and I cannot wait to continue seeing my body transform.

Ugh! Bummed to have to say, but the staff here isn't polite. I went on three occasions and unfortunately experienced the same poor customer service each time. As a new business, the staff is NOT trained properly how to greet and treat their clients. You walk in, no smiles. "What's your name?" is all I got. You have to validate your parking at this facility and the staff can't be bothered trying to help us figure out how to do it. I was helping random people from the class figure it out. Furthermore, I arrived ten minutes early for my first class, and no one cared to explain how the machines worked. I had to hop on and figure it out myself. At any other new facility, I have been toured and shown how to use the machines, as simple or complicated as they may be.
On my second visit, after class, my friend mentioned to the woman at the front desk, "woof it's hot in there! You have the heat on or something?" Of course the heat isn't on; she was being facetious. THE GRIMACE OF THE STAFF MEMBER WAS SO RUDE. She scowled and said, "No!" Based on her tone and facial expression, she was clearly annoyed and suggested my friend was stupid for thinking that.
The no cell phone policy is not in line with many client's needs, including mothers who need to access phones for emergencies. And when people have their phones out, they are met with comments like, "You need to put it away or leave the class." That aggressive reaction to customers could be dealt with in other ways, such as "I understand you need to use your phone, would you mind stepping outside when you need to use your cellphone?"
I actually took the time after my third and final class to connect with the manager on duty (who by the way had HER cell phone out during class) and highlight the poor customer service and attitude I experienced from many staff members, and as I was talking, she was already shaking her head "no," and didn't seem receptive. I stated that "I want your business to succeed, but the staff here is rude and reactive, and there are other ways of saying things." She actually told me, "No, there is only ONE way to say things." It appears that the manager is overwhelmed by the feedback she is getting from many people and rather than accepting and admitting their room for improvement, she was closeminded and defensive. Their poor customer service is going to be their downfall. Five people I know have decided they no longer want to work out there now because of the staff.

They charge you for a simple cotton band and you can't bring in your own due to "liability ". No bathroom to change in.
Sophia was really rude when I tried to explain that when I signed up I was told I could use my own equipment. She couldn't even fathom the idea that one of their new employees at a brand new location might have been giving incorrect info.
