I tried my first Pilates class and it was an amazing experience. The instructor was patient and attentive, correcting and adjusting us whenever our positions or placements weren’t quite right, which made the workout feel safe and effective. We went as a group and it was both fun and challenging, a perfect mix of intensity and enjoyment. Make sure you have something in your stomach and are well hydrated beforehand, as it’s a full-body workout that really gets you moving. I left feeling energized, sore in the best way, and already looking forward to the next class.

I come to Hanford every year from Chicago and was so happy to find Burn Pilates & Strength Studio this year. I took Caroline's Strength + Sculpt class, Crystal's Equipment, and Mat + Strength class, and Jessica's Chair + Mat class. All three were challenging in the best way and such a great workout.

The instructors were incredibly professional and knowledgeable. They provided clear, thoughtful explanations of each movement, with great cues and hands-on guidance throughout. I especially appreciated how patient and encouraging they were, ensuring that everyone in the class felt supported and safe.

The studio itself is beautiful and so welcoming. It has a clean, calming vibe that immediately puts you at ease. It was also super easy to book classes through their app, which made the whole experience even more convenient.

They also have cute merch options--I picked up a pair of Pilates socks that I absolutely love!

Whether you're local or just visiting, I highly recommend checking out Burn if you're looking for effective, well-instructed classes in a warm and inspiring space. I'll definitely be back every year!

I started attending classes at Burn at the beginning of my pregnancy, and all the instructors were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the entirety of my pregnancy. I am now 2 months postpartum and back at Burn and loving it. I feel that the prenatal and postpartum classes were extremely helpful in both preparation for labor and in helping with recovery postpartum. I highly recommend Burn to anyone looking for a studio to join!

I took part in the Chair and Mat class with Jessica. Great class and great instructor! I was impressed with how our equipment was set up and ready for us to use. I was curious about the Pilates chair, and appreciated how Jessica incorporated the various ways that this piece of equipment can be used to work all parts of our bodies. She was attentive and encouraging, accommodating the different levels that were in the class. She thoroughly explained each exercise, so we knew what we were targeting, and provided corrections to our form when needed. She kept up a great pace to the class, which was challenging but not overwhelming.

Cute small studio with less than 10 reformers. Good, intimate class size. The instructor was very nice, helpful and descriptive with the exercises she was having us do.
I came from out of state and bought a unlimited pass while I was here. I take Pilates from where I’m from but I got a quick crash course before we started so I know their equipment and house rules.
At least for the week, we were strictly on the reformer and used the box, ball, circle and the jump board. No mat. It was very different routine than the reformer sessions I take home that utilizes the TRX, mat and other equipment in 1 class session but I still felt that soreness and felt good afterwards.
Just wish it was a little longer, like another 5 mins for it to be 50 instead of 45 :)

Wow! 10/10 would recommend... I was a complete novice to Pilates when I joined the studio. Each coach has done a phenomenal job at explaining the movements and ensuring that my forum is not only correct but that I am actually engaging the intended muscle groups. This attention to detail has made it so I leave each class feeling the perfect amount of exhausted. I always feel like my muscles have had a good burn but I'm never too sore to not go back the next day for more! The studio itself is gorgeous, an absolute little gem for Hanford. I was hesitant at first to sign up for the monthly membership, but after almost a year of going, I can without a doubt say it has been 100% worth it!!

I was so nervous to try out a Pilates class with the Reformer Machine since I have been out of the gym scene for so long but I contacted Dianna and she was very welcoming and understanding of my nervousness. I signed up for a private class so she can show me the fundamentals before I actually signed up and took a group class.
