Best workout in the South Bay! A hidden gem in charming Saratoga with plenty of parking. I did the barre method for over 3 years and love the Burn program so much better and I have better body toning, flexibility & energy in only a few months. There is a max of 15 clients so you get personal space and instruction, if you want it. I highly recommend it for any level - flexible program where you can adjust to your exercise level.

48 year old male here, decided to get back in shape since sitting in front of my computer all day clearly was not doing the trick.
This is NOT your typical half-way-to-yoga fall-asleep-as-you-exercise Pilates. It's really a cardio workout, but with moves that are based on Pilates thinking.
There's comparatively little bouncing around, the moves work on your core, strength/endurance and flexibility, and there's a lot of "keep your left side motionless while you do stuff with your right side" kind of trickery... But with the elevated heart rate, you're not falling asleep in the middle of this class.
It's a 10-15 people group, and in the beginning you won't be able to keep up at all - but you'll do better very quickly. It's a hard workout, but it is forgiving to your body, so you won't slide back.
I've been doing it 3 times a week for 8 weeks now, no injuries, definite improvement, and lots of extra energy during the day afterwards.

So in love with this work out! I'm getting firm all over. It's so hard but feels so good. Quick 55 min workout that gets you burning all over! Fat freely melts away. I like to maintain about three times a week. Days that I workout I sleep like a baby. Highly recommended if your having doubts.

I have been doing pilates at Burn for about 3 months now. I love the friendly instructors and the energy of the studio. It's a great all over workout that helps you tone while pushing your cardio limit as well. They accommodate all levels. A great addition to downtown Saratoga!
