The anaerobic and muscle conditioning exercises he has given me TRULY stimulate the metabolism to burn fat and gain lean muscle! He listens to any sort of injury history of the client. I was referred by a friend to go see Robert. I’m so glad I did. He is wonderful. He has made me feel comfortable being at BurnFit Studios. I’m having fun too. I was nervous about a spine injury I have but Robert is experienced and knowledgeable enough to accommodate me. I never leave recommendations on line. I have issues of personal privacy but in this case, I felt this would be worth it if I could help people like me get more fit, healthier, stronger and on the path to recovery.

Not only was I not rehabbing well from injuries, I was making matters worse. At my wits end, someone recommended Robert Berger to me and I finally made an appointment.

He was the only trainer who (with kindness and compassion) guided me away from the (stupid) things I was doing (I was really hurting myself) and taught me how to exercise properly with the correct equipment (or sometimes very little equipment) so that I could heal, gain strength, lose weight (yay) and get myself back in good shape again. He spent a lot of time working with my previous injuries. His years of study and multiple certifications put him far ahead of all the other trainers I had tried.

He came along at just the right time because my frustration and pain were making me really depressed. He worked with me slowly and never made me feel inadequate.

He knows just how to push a client to be the best they can be.

This is THE man to help you. You will never regret it.

Robert has been my trainer for over 6 months before I left for college. My goal was to put on 20 pounds and to learn a successful approach to being ripped but at the same time packing on muscle. The first time I met Robert was for my fitness assessment which he found so many things that were good and bad! For one, I was extremely inflexible and I learned very quickly how to stretch properly with my body and a fascia roller. This helped my strength training exponentially! I learned how to eat, how to stretch and how to strength train, also how much cardio I needed to do regularly. In five months time I was able to increase my strength on an average of over

I’ve known Robert for 18 years! I consider him a dear friend, and I have my own testimony.
As long as I’ve known Robert, he’s been the most dedicated and results driven trainer I’ve ever met.
He customizes training for his clients based on where they’re at physically. I needed to lose 20 lbs. and he helped me get there! I had a problem with my knees, and couldn’t do a lot of squats, Robert was able to accommodate this with alternative exercises and equipment until I had built up strength in my legs and knees.

Ok so where do I begin! When I started my journey of actually "wanting" to get healthy and lose weight, Robert was there. The first step was absolutely wanting it. It did help that Robert is a saint and dealt with my "pain in the ass" as I say attitude, but you do have to want it. He taught me how to exersize because believe it or not I didn't know

My husband and I have been massage therapy clients for about 14 years and really love his massages. He has helped me through surgeries, auto accidents and progressing degenerative arthritis and has helped my husband's stress related back, neck and shoulder problems. We know how we felt prior to finding Robert and we will never be without him! We move better, have fewer neck and head aches, improved flexibility, and mentally better as we are so relaxed.

Robert also offers personal training and assisted stretching. I have worked with him in these areas as well and find him to be very knowledgeable and encouraging. Schedule training and follow up with a massage, it's HEAVEN!!! The stretching is something I would suggest to anyone. I add the stretching to the end of my massage and that is an awesome combo! Totally relaxing!!

All I can say is if you want a intense, safe work out with a trainer who knows his stuff, trains you safely, takes the time to stretch you after your satisfying workout, helps you with your diet if needed and whether you need to loose weight, get on a healthy path, clean eating or to lean out, tighten up, bulk up, add strength, build confinace...Robert is your trainer. He is so passionate in what he does, a kind soul so mellow so motivating and takes his time with you. I couldn't recommend Robert Fitness enough. Oh not to mention he is a massage therapist as well. So important that you train with someone who knows more then just setting up a killer workout with a awesome gym and excellent equipment but you need someone who knows the mechanics of the body, the proper way to stretch, keeps you in check with proper form to avoid those injuries. Wow, where do I begin? Perhaps a little background--- for many years I have struggled with yo-yo dieting, body dysmorphia, depression, self- hatred, fluctuating body weight and most recently, a diagnosis of Hashimoto disease & Adrenal Fatigue which caused a pretty drastic weight gain in a short time. Feeling overwhelmed and scared by my rapidly declining health at the young age of 23, I was encouraged to seek help. This is when I found Robert, scrolling trough reviews on Yelp. I was SO nervous as I made that first phone call but was immediately at ease once we began speaking. We set up and appointment to meet and since then my life has drastically changed. Within the first TWELVE days I had lost inches, pounds and starting gaining self-esteem and maybe the most important thing: the belief that I COULD turn my life around. Robert is incredibly knowledgeable about the body and nutrition and tailors each session to your specific needs. The workouts are always fast paced and fun but at the same time all business. They're not easy workouts but he breaks them up in a way where you don't feel like you have to give up(which is huge for me as I have never considered myself an athletic person!). He is encouraging and is as much a support to my mental health as he is my physical health. He knows how important it is to conquer the mind as well as the body in order to achieve success. There have been times I have been in tears and felt like giving up and he just won't let me (for which I am so so grateful)! He has believed in me and and pushed me beyond what I ever thought I was capable of and I can honestly say I am becoming a better person for it. I am in the middle of my journey now and am already receiving so many comments and encouragement from friends and family. They see a difference not only physically, but in my attitude! So for those of you who don't think you can achieve your goals-you CAN! Robert has shown me that!! He will get your butt into shape and get you excited about all of the amazing things your body was made to do! I'm shocked by some of the exercises he has introduced me to. He would demonstrate and I would think "there is no way" but I have been wrong every time. He knows how much I can handle and how much further he can push me to see growth without damaging my muscles or joints. You learn about form, what is best for your metabolism, what each exercise is supposed to do and so, so much more. I'm so grateful for Robert. I've gone from hopeless to hopeful and it has made all difference. He will help you change your life. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!!
