I have been a client of BW Personal Training for several years. Barrett and Natalie provide exceptional training in a friendly and professional environment. They are welcoming to their clients and treat the training of each one on an individual, client goal oriented basis. They understand what clients are looking for and how to achieve those goals. The spectrum of client ages is wide and they are able keep all of us engaged and excited to be part of their organization. I know that my excellent physical health is attributed to being a party of BW Personal Training. If you are looking for a dedicated trainer, this is the place to go!!

I am so happy to be a client at this gym! Barrett & Natalie are a great pair and run their business professionally. The gym is clean, spacious, and has top of the line equipment for every level & exercise imaginable. What can I say.. if there were a higher rating than 5 stars, BW fitness would still have the Maximum amount.
This is a family run business. The owners know exactly what you need, even if you don’t.
My wife and I started our journey a little over a year ago and the first thing we were asked was what are your goals? What are your limitations currently?
For me. I stated I wanted to get stronger and leaner. My strength has grown significantly. My diet is on me - yet he still guides me! (My wife has done amazing as she listened)
I have no idea what to expect on a daily basis or, what I can do in a 1 hour session, I just do the best of what I am asked. (I have a word with myself every session lol)
I personally train with Barrett and absolutely love the results thus far! Being an EX Marine, Barrett shows great guidance and resilience to your personal thoughts of what you can achieve, he knows what you can achieve.

The thought of going into one of those mega-gyms was daunting, so I looked up the highest ranking trainers and found BW. My goal was to maximize my health, and Natalie, who I train with, has been amazingly helplful and knowledgable regarding both workouts and nutrition. An added bonus is the atmosphere -- there's a wide range of ages and abilities, and everyone supports each other. I always get a friendly greeting from Barrett, and though I'm no athlete, I'm feeling pretty good about myself these days!

🤩 YES, please. There are so many gyms and personal training in near distance to where I live. Over the years I’ve tried quite a few. One trainer would come in drunk and another would use his cell phone during my training session. Unbelievable!
Barrett and Natalie have very strong work ethics and truly know what they’re doing.
I have much respect for them and I won’t be experimenting anymore on finding a good fit. Thank you, Barrett and Natalie

Natalie and Barrett are both so wonderful. I started working out again after taking a break for a few years and gaining 15 pounds. They helped me ease back into things slowly and get stronger without hurting myself. They are both so positive and the gym is immaculate! They wipe down all the equipment every time it is used and their bathrooms are super nice. They provide water and a machine that tracks your improvement over time by showing how much fat you lost and how much muscle you gained. It's much more motivating than the gyms I've been to in the past and the personalized attention feels amazing. I love it here!

The Best in the Game—Barrett & Nat Are Unmatched!
I’ve been training with Barrett and Nat since the very beginning of my journey as a true athlete, and I never looked back. They’ve taken me from high school seasons to the best shape of my life before competing at USC, and once again when I made the leap to play professionally overseas.
Their attention to detail, knowledge, and genuine care for their clients are second to none. But beyond the results, what sets them apart is the environment. Every session is high-energy, filled with great music, good vibes, and plenty of laughs—all while pushing you to be your absolute best. They make the hard work fun, and that’s rare to find.

Still here after all these years. This is THE spot. I live in Costa Mesa and commute here a couple times a week. Love that it's right off the freeway. My time here holds me accountable to put in the time working on ME.
I have trained with both Natalie and Barrett over the years. They have been flexible with my schedule. They are always mixing it up and adding in new exercises. Time flies here and I leave feeling energized.
Your hour here will consist of yourself and typically 2-3 others making it an ideal small group for fun and motivation.
I love the family feel and they are able to help all ages and all skill/ability levels.
Always a great workout on this small group environment. Personalized and effective. I've been attending since 2016.

I have to leave a review for my favorite place to go during the week.
A small preface, I sustained a back injury from weightlifting in 2016 and had surgery in 2019 to relieve the pain of the disc bulge that had left me sidelined. Got back into weightlifting this year, April of 2023.
I reached out to Barrett around July to help ensure my form was good and I was training properly. Although squats and deadlifts are never to be part of my regiment again, Barrett still helps me find ways to get the full body workout in every week, while avoiding any strain on my lower back.
The atmosphere is very welcoming every time you walk in. There's no thinking involved when you arrive, because Barrett (and Natalie!) has everything ready to go for your full hour.
If you're on the fence about joining, stop thinking about it and just do it!

Barrett and his wife are a blessing to our community. I came to them after I sustained a fall injury over 5 months ago, was working with a PT and I could never do the strength part on my own. Barrett followed a strict regimen with me under my PT’s advice, I have had an excellent improvement and continue to train. I walked in limping months ago and now I walk in with a smile. Super nice clean, organised place, Barrett knows I prefer one on one training and he does his best to schedule times that work for my crazy schedule. I appreciate this place ❤️

BW Personal Training: The atmosphere is structured in an individualized training area to each specifics. Barrett takes pride in his work training sessions and he is very patient, and encourages me daily to take each challenge specific to my created plan. I have been working with Barrett for a year and am very pleased with my results. Barrett is joyful, respectful, patient and makes everyone feel belong in his studio. I like these values the most about him. I just came out of my training session and felt compelled to write this review. Most folks in this line of business are expert with credentials, what sets Barrett' s training apart for me is he is very flexible with scheduling, caring, respectful, great personality, genuine to work with and just an overall great guy with all his clients. I would highly recommend BW Training!

Awesome place. Very clean and great personal training. Barrett takes the time to provide individualised workouts that really help to reach my specific goals while keeping in mind my preexisting limitations. Barrett is excellent at creating workouts that challenge me and he has top of the line equipment. Also, this is the cleanest gym I've ever been to! Barrett is an excellent trainer and a great motivator. He takes the time to not only understand your goals, he helps you create and actually achieve those goals. I have a shoulder injury that has been operated on and since being with Barrett for over a year, I have seen marked improvement in my strength and use of that shoulder. I have been training with Barrett for a couple of years now. He really is great at what he does, listening to the needs of his clients, and helping support injuries or training for events. I have been working out with Barrett for a couple years now and I must say that he is the best personal trainer I ever had. Before meeting Barrett, I was very skinny and never ate properly. Now, I have gained a great amount of muscle weight (and confidence), thanks to Barrett's guided weight training and proper dieting. The best part is, he is very flexible and will make sure that your needs are satisfied. Ive been working out with Barrett for many years and i am now in college, playing baseball. He has made me become not only a better athlete, but has taught commitment to something that helps improve my life in so many aspects. He is a great trainer and if you're looking to train for a specific sport he knows exactly what to do in order to get where you want to be, and even go beyond your expectations and goals. If your not in a sport and just want to get in shape or lift weights, I've seen many people that Barrett has trained going from living an unhealthy lifestyle, and turning their life around with proper dieting and exercise routines. Barrett is a fantastic trainer! He knows his stuff and makes sure you are working hard, with proper form, while accommodating for personal issues like bad knees. He trained me postpartum after my first pregnancy and was instrumental helping me to lose baby weight. He also trained me during my subsequent pregnancy and helped me stay in shape during the first half of my pregnancy. He's a true gem!
