My husband and I trained with Arya for about 3 years. I was so happy to find Arya as a trainer. He helped us with our meal planning and tailored our workouts to exactly what we needed at the time. He trained me throughout my pregnancy and postpartum as well. He was great at modifying workouts for me. After I had my baby they even let us bring him along when we didn't have anyone to babysit him!!
Christine also helped me with managing my diet due to gestational diabetes. They are truly a power couple when it comes to trainers.
Their gym is clean with ample parking. I think personal training can be intimidating but they make you feel comfortable and help you through each step. They push your limits and help you reach your goals!!! I would 100% recommend them.

I’ve been training with Christine for about 3 months now and it’s the best investment I could have made for myself. I started the 8 week hybrid program at about 17 weeks pregnant. I was feeling heavy and physically weak. My goals were to eat more nutritious meals and build strength for motherhood. Christine is helping me accomplish these goals, and I feel so confident now. Christine was also recently pregnant herself so on top of her credentials, she has the personal experience to back up her programs. I highly recommend for any pregnant mamas!

I've been training with Christine for almost 3 years now and love how she continues to challenge me beyond what I think is even physically and mentally possible. She's always so encouraging, quick to answer any questions I have, and also incredibly patient. She's trained my 60yr old mom, 86yr old grandma, and my brother who's autistic and amazing at adapting the workouts to cater to the person's physical capability. My mom was someone who's been sedentary pretty much her entire life and resisted the idea of any physical movement, but since training with Christine, she's become more enthusiastic about working out. C. Athletics is approachable for all levels and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to improve their fitness journey!

I reached out to Christine last year to see if could arrange for in-person, partnered training sessions with a focus on building strength and wellness for a frail older adult (that is, my mother). Christine showed amazing patience and knowledge in working with my mother, not just knowledge of fitness in general, but about how to adapt exercises and approaches to suit people across the lifespan. Although mom unfortunately dropped out (truly we cannot make anyone but ourselves exercise, if even that!) I did end up going for weekly sessions with Christine for the greater part of a year. She's awesome at listening to your goals, and adapting on a session-to-session basis to the needs of the day, like adding an extra set of stretches and foam rolling when a shoulder or knee aches.
For in-person sessions, the space is well-equipped and has everything you might need for a workout, and sessions were also very fairly priced. I highly suggest working out with Christine if the studio is within a reasonable commute!

C Athletics is a great fitness studio offering personalized training sessions based on your needs. Although its pricey, its worth it! I worked out with Arya for 20 weeks this year and they were the best workout sessions I've ever experienced. Arya was patient and non-judgmental. He educated me on form, using gym equipment, diet, and more. He pushed me to challenge myself in the gym, but was never judge-y when I slacked off. Training at C Athletics helped me build good habits in the gym and I look forward to working with them again!

I highly recommend C Athlethics. I trained with Arya for the past two months and already seeing result. I originally went in looking to improve my posture and be more toned. However I had to stop due to my lower back pain (not related to C Athletics). The training is costumed to fit each person . During the training we work around my lower back pain and was able to strengthen my upper back and shoulder muscles to improve the posture. Arya is great on encouraging and pushing me to do better. A very knowledgeable trainer as well. I am definitely going back to C. Athletics after my two months rest for my lower back to get better.

Christine and her team have done an amazing job keeping myself and others healthy and safe during this pandemic. Offering personal training packages that include online workout sessions over Zoom was so convenient since it allowed me to work out from the comfort of my own home, but the workouts were also satisfyingly challenging. Some packages also offer custom meal plans that really help sustain results. I’ve lost around 20 pounds so far!

I've always been really intimidated by personal trainers. I was always afraid of the judgement and questions about my lifestyles and life choices, so I never really looked into doing any kind of personal training. However, after seeing so many good reviews, I decided to give this place a try. Let me just say, Christine is everything you're looking for in a trainer. She is easy to talk to, really listens to the problems you have, and makes training with her feel like going to the gym with a friend. She really tailors each workout and meal plan to your needs and knows exactly what your body needs. The results you see speak volumes of her work!

I have been engaging in fitness training for over 5 years, and I wanted to say C Athletics is unique. Arya and Christine set their goals to achieve a visualizable and tangible fitness result for their trainees, instead of selling classes compare to other ordinary gyms.
I have been training with Arya for a year now, and he is very passionate, energetic, fun, knowledgeable and professional. I have very much enjoyed working out in their gym.

I’ve trained with all 3 trainers via zoom and face to face. They are all very energetic and knowledgeable. The part that differentiates them from other personal trainers is that they are very focused on your health and safety. They push you to your limits while also preserving your body. They even take the time to stretch you and roll out your neck at the end of workouts. Aside from being trainers they make it a point to have a personal connection with each client which makes your fitness journey that much more enjoyable.

I have seen Christine and Arya build this business from the ground up and can honestly say you won't find trainers more genuine than these two. You'll feel the burn and see the results as long as you put in the heart and dedication to your workouts and make the necessary lifestyle changes recommended by their expert guidance. They offer the best advice and are always available to answer my questions even during off-hours. If that's not dedication then I don't know what is. You can tell they care about you and that's just as important as seeing the results. Never regretted my decision in leaving those money-hungry corporate gyms and joining C. Athletics. Christine and her team are amazing. I started working one on one with Christine last year. She helped guide my nutrition and workouts. She tailored her program to me and has given me the tools to continue to workout on my own, this summer.
Her group classes are great too. When we had to transition to Zoom classes I was worried they wouldn’t push me as hard, but they were great. They take into account the equipment you have at home and tailor the class to you.
Give any one of her trainers a try and you will not regret it!

Sure you can go to any gym and get a trainer.. I had before at 24hr but C-Athletics is not anything like those money hungry gyms. They don’t just train you for that 1 hour and on to the next like you are just $$$. They care about what you eat, what you do on your day to day activities even if it’s not your session. That’s what I call dedication. She shares delicious recipe tips so you can make it yourself and provides ideas and education if something doesn’t work for you. Christine is educated with degrees to show for, not some online certification that people get and call themselves a trainer. If you want a personal health coach/trainer, I highly recommend C-Athletics!

Not even Rona can stop this team from training! The virtual classes they offered range from strength building, flexibility and recovery, and even nutrition! They even make sure you're still in correct form while on webcam.
Building up their fit fam by teaching lifestyle habits that turn into lifelong practices is definitely the type of trainers you need in life.

BEST TRAINING/NUTRITION EXPERIENCE
Let me start off by telling you a little bit about my medical and health history. I am injury prone and I have had multiple surgeries. I suffer from herniated discs, sciatica, broken bones, plantar fasciitis, golfer's elbow, broken ankles, ligaments, just to name a few, but you get the picture! I had spine surgery when I was 21, I could barely squat to use the restroom, and I had to have someone put on my underwear and socks for me. The surgeons told me I would have difficulty doing activities of daily living; bending down, walking, standing, lifting, not being able to bear children, etc. I have tried numerous trainers, physical therapists, pain therapist, acupuncture, PRP shots, anything you can think of, I have probably tried!
A decade later, I am playing basketball, working out, and am self-sufficient. I am wary and usually very skeptical about trainers in general; credentials, experience, knowledge, training. I know I made the right decision when I came to Christine. Not only is she knowledgeable about exercise, fitness, and injuries, she also has a graduate degree in nutrition. She knows how exercise and diet affects the entire body as a whole system. Most trainers out there do not have her credentials, or take the time to get to know you and your medical history to prevent further injury. She takes the time to ensure you are safe (most importantly), and you progress in a reasonable time frame to meet your fitness goals.
She cares about each one of her clients and tailors the program to fit their needs. I am obviously not trying to be a body builder or compete in shows. However, I am trying to recover from injuries and maintain a healthy lifestyle so I don't have to have surgery again in the future. With that said, she is very flexible and able to customize to your goals and needs. One thing I value most about Christine is her honesty. She will not tell you something that is not feasible, like many other trainers tend to do because they want your money. Have you seen all the ads on social media? The majority of those people don't care about YOU, they care about how much money they can make off of you. She will help you achieve your goals, but a lot of it has to do with how determined you are and how much work YOU put in yourself.
I have been training with Christine for years, and I continue to do so. I have recommended her to all my friends, coworkers, and family. I trust her with my health and well-being. That is not to be taken likely, especially since everyone only has one body and one life to live.

Being in quarantine, I had to cancel my gym membership. What I miss about it were the group classes. My friend invited me to attend one of Christine's Zoom workout sessions and I was hooked! She offers various classes - my favorites were the Body Weight, Interval Training, and Yoga. Because I enjoyed her workouts so much, I was signing up for multiple classes a week - more than I've workout in a while! 😄 I love that I workout different parts of my body in just 45 minutes. And boy does she work you out! I feel tired but so awesome afterwards!

Christine is amazing!!! I actually met Christine during my undergrad years in Nutrition and Dietetics at CSULB (which is by far one of the most extensive programs for the field) when she wasn't a body builder or a trainer. I always thought of her as a passionate person, but following Christine on Instagram and seeing her transform as a body builder then a trainer and the owner of this studio instead of becoming a typical nutritionist have been a true inspiration for me - to work out of course, but as a role model for the way of in life in general. I would totally want a trainer like her but I live in Torrance which is pretty far so never had the chance to train with her directly. So I was very excited and grateful for the opportunity to join one of her zoom classes recently after all these years of admiring her! Kinda even made me grateful for the pandemic haha. I joined the Yoga Flow which was a good balance of stretching, relaxing, and maintaining core strength. She made me feel like I was in her gym, so welcoming, that I didn't feel the distance at all. I also love that she uses her background in nutrition to teach her clients about the importance of both working out and eating well. She is a full package I'm telling you, so educated, passionate, beautiful inside and out, I highly recommend!

I’ve been training with Christine since before she opened her gym. She helped me lose 30 lbs and was so patient with me. I could be difficult at times so her methods and positive attitude really helps. I highly recommend her and Arya if you want to jump start your way to a healthy lifestyle, to train for a body building competition (she’s versatile), or even just to tone or learn more about nutrition.
