Specializing in body optimization for athletes, office workers and those recovering from injury, training is customized to your specific needs. With a full Gratz studio, offerings include private and duet lessons or groups of up to five.

If you are reading this and have not yet worked with Carrie South, do yourself a favor and book a session! She is one of the best Pilates and functional training professionals I have worked with in my 10 years of practicing. Carrie has a keen eye for each individual body in front of her. She has helped me improve a couple spots in my back and hip, as well as continue to better understand the work and build proficiency with each exercise. I have also gained valuable teaching insight from Carrie that helps me be a better Pilates Instructor myself. Carrie is a delight to work with and I am confident you will feel the same way!

I am so happy I found Carrie in San Diego! She has such a great eye and rare talent for explaining movement in a simple, clear way. Carrie zooms in on your problem areas right away and guides you through a workout where you will feel stretched, connected, and strong from head to toe. It’s hard work but she will guide you through it! Before working with Carrie regularly, I had chronic neck pain and random flare ups in my back due to too much stranding, bad posture, and overusing my shoulders during workouts. Carrie taught me how to engage my muscles more efficiently and we’ve worked a lot on strengthening my weaker spots and building skills needed to do more advanced exercises. I no longer have daily neck pain and can enjoy so many more activities. I look forward to my weekly lessons with her because I know I’ll feel amazing after! After every lesson I truly feel like I have a new body. Working with her is something I will continue to do regularly to keep me healthy and strong. Thank you Carrie!
