Cal courts is my hater free zone. I can do my weights. I can run. I can do my swimming of laps. Relax in the steam room- repeat. Been going to cal courts since laminated cards. Love it.

The place is a filth, on top of the lockers are dusty, the pool needs lots of scrubbing and fresh water, so the whole place needs to be remodel and hire more people for maintaining and cleaning as well, if you people don't do anything I'll sue you 😠😠😠😠.

I was in search for a good place to work out. So I decided to give Cal Courts a look at. I must say that as soon as stepped foot in this place I turned around and left the building. The place smelled pretty bad. Smelled like they don’t wipe down the equipment used for exercise. The staff was really kind of rude and snooty. I refuse to give a place like Cal Courts my business.

I rate it a 1- star or can I do lower? Did not feel clean. Half the machines I went to use were broken. Nobody I saw were using the few bottles of spray sanitizer they had. I had to go hunt for one each time I used the equipment. I got tired of the less than adequate service, but when I called to terminate my membership, they told me I had to fill out a cancellation form and could not do it over the phone. I can cancel a credit card over the phone immediately, but with them, I already have to wait 30days after I give notice. Not only can you not cancel over the phone, they do not allow the cancellation forms to leave the gym. I was going to have my wife, who works in Eureka, pick one up for me, but I had to go in person to fill it out. Totally ridiculous! I have to wait 30 days either way. My bank has 3days hold on financial transactions which I can do over the phone, but with this circus I cannot call or pick up forms, but have to drive in to make transaction. Cal Courts is like the Hotel California....You can check in, but you can do your damndest to check out!!!

Terrible, terrible. After 10 years of wasting my money at Cal Courts I give up. The owner is rude and not interested in making improvements or even keeping the place maintained. Shows obvious contempt for the members. Thank goodness I found Planet Fitness and will save over $1,000 a year.

I LOOOVVEEE Cal Courts! I love the trx class and The art of breathing yoga. Not to mention all the instructors and staff are peaches and creme supreme! They rock! Super friendly and nice. I am happy to put in a good word for this place :)

I have been attending calcourts for 27 years, mostly i go there because they are one of the only gyms that have a punching bag and a speed bag in eureka .The gym itself is the filthiest place i have ever entered. Yesterday i was on the elliptical when suddenly i get the strong odor of feces, as my arms are going back and fourth on the machine so i followed the odor to my right hand. mind you i had just came out of the shower, i was so repulsed i almost threw up right there so i washed my hands and the machine to no avail. This den of filth has a particular spirit about it, there are a number of men that you never see them sweating or working out ever, what they do is they hover, they hover around waiting for a unsuspecting female to come in and they conveniently position themselves in order to put that female in a compromising position. When i said something to one of them, he complained to management about it, and said i was a angry person because i wouldn't let him follow us around upstairs and down, like they do. I am calling on any female that has experienced this or anything similar in they gym,the bathroom,ect. i call on you to please send your review and experience about this place because i intend to sue and i can use all the support i can get.
In the bathroom, i have experience blatant sexual harassment, again these creeps position themselves where when you come out the the open public showers, they are below you in the Jacuzzi behind you, the average normal person looks away , these creeps smile and stare at you package to me that is sexual harassment. One day i was in there crappy sauna when this Mexican man was playing with his phone, i didn't understand a lot about cellphones at that time, when i got home and found out why a light would be shining out of the back of his phone i realized he was recording me naked in the sauna! Not long after that,a young man about 17 years old walked into the sauna where i was again, he seemed upset, then he said to me that a guy in the steam room though he couldn't see clearly he could hear the man carrying on and moaning so he came and told me, i walked in the steam room, open the door and told him to cut the crap out! I can go on and on about the conditions and situation that take place at Calcourts under the owners nose with me and others constantly reporting to agatha. all she does is grin at the sexual harassment and filth and says NO BIG DEAL! So you women have been warned. More incredible than the poor conditions of the equipment, the unsanitary conditions, and i have observed several people who are very comfortable there yet you can smell them from 6ft away and the inside of his shorts from the crotch are deteriorating like rotting. I reported it because they allegedly have a hygiene standard, which is a joke of course,but of all the filth the extreme poor conditions the lingering men not to work out but as a way of checking out the ass and having a fantasy show for free, the worst of all of this is the owner Agathas attitude. I told her one day in person that she had a large collection of creeps and wackos that she has never had to deal with but we do! she didn't get that, it went in one ear and out the other. I am going to try my hardest to get that place shut down.

Awful! I have had three horrible experiences at this club. Probably because it is located in the center of the worst part of Eureka.

1. Was followed around by a creepy guy who always stood behind me while exercising. When confronted he denied yet refused to move from behind me. I told the front desk staff and they said I could complete a customer complaint card. (Sorry didn't think that was adequate attention).

2. Early morning workouts are made very uncomfortable by one gentleman in the cardio machine section. He will change the (only) television no matter if you are watching it to FOX news. Then he will proceed in interrupt member workouts by asking them highly contentious questions regarding politics. Can I just work-out in peace, no matter what political beliefs I have?

3. I noticed that my monthly dues stopped coming out of my account. I asked the front-desk if my account had been paid, they said yes. I asked again a couple of months later, and same thing account showed the dues were paid. I even had them check the card number to make sure they were taking it out of the right account. MONTHS later, they take out all dues at once that completely drained my account.

Anyways don't go hear unless you want to be harassed. Too expensive anyway for the quality of equipment.
