I was charged $39 a month. You would think that once you pay that you have 30 days to work out, but that is not how the cancellation process works. I found another gym with more equipment and a basketball court for the same price. So when I went to cancel this membership, I had to go through a lot of hoops. After I made my 30 day notice I was still charged another $39. I had to pay on February 6, but my membership will in February 10. I don’t know about you but it seems like that’s only four days after I paid but I had to give a 30 day notice. This is really happening….

They closed for COVID stopped charging me had to get a new card by the time they decided with no notice to start charging me they sent $87 dollars into collections causing obvious headache before I had any idea what was going on. I would NOT recommend doing business here to anyone ever! Negative 5 stars if I could !

I didn’t mind working out here at first. It’s super basic and can get crowded. One thing I refuse to deal with is FLEAS at the gym. I had some other members tell me they found them all over their legs. They mentioned there was a closure for cleaning. I figured I was good, however one guys saw many on his legs again and upon leaving I found them on mine. This is a huge health hazard and just plain gross. We are now attempting to cancel. We have called, emailed three times, and popped by twice since the discovery last week. Not a soul in sight or heard from. To be fair, I wouldn’t show up to work at a place infested with fleas. Don’t waste your time. There’s many other gyms around for less money and more space very close by. Probably no fleas too. Hopefully we can cancel without too much hassle because it shouldn’t be this hard to get ahold of someone.

I've been going to the gym for probably close to 30 years when it first opened under another name. It works for me. I've gone to big Gym's. In fact, a whole lot in the past. But I'd like the smallest of this one because the machines are all next to each other I can get in and out quickly. It's very easy to use and the price is very reasonable. And it's open 24 seven. PS it's clean. Now the parking can be a bit tricky, and you do need to feed the meters after 9 o'clock. But it's totally convenient for me and I'm back at it feeling strong. And now that I'm over 65, there is a program called "silver and fit" and it pays for my gym membership. Now that is very good.

Run by an absolute scammer. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CRDIT CARD INFO THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR YEARS WITH NO WAY TO CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION!!!! The people working there somehow can't cancel your membership but they have no trouble signing you up. I was given the email and number of the owner to cancel and repeated attempts over several months to make contact were ignored. I had to tell my credit card company to reject payment requests. Now I've been sent to collections for an ongoing subscription I did not use and was unable to cancel. This is criminal activity and a total scam. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO!!!

Super nice owner. Allowed me to workout on a business trip 4 days for just $20. Equipment is older. Needs new padding some equipment... but fully loaded with ensuring you need to get in great workouts.

CalFit has been a great place for me the past few months. Unfortunately I am moving, otherwise I would stay here long term. They have every free-weight and machine I am interested in. A great staff! Thank you CalFit.

Calls are never responded, hard to contact, billing issues, seems as if gym is running on autopilot. I wonder if the owner realizes the importance of the meaning of a business relationship with its clients.

Staff is very unfriendly and unhelpful.. Be aware that if you want to cancel, they add an extra month on to your bill.

I would recommend not going to this gym! I had many issues with money and billing that were at the fault of one of their staff members and they never tried to help solve the issue. The gym never responded back to my emails and I overall had a terrible experience with CalFit.

Did a free trial this last week because I was interested in buying a membership. The three times that I went there, no one was inside (around 11:50am) and there was no way to get into the gym because they keep the front doors locked. The gym is small and there is not really a good place to do olympic lifting. The place felt dirty too. The days that I was able to get in, no one was ever there to clean it. There was no one at the front desk ever, so even if I wanted a membership, I wouldn't be able to do so.

Nice place to work out. Open 24 hrs, cardlock door. Billing dispute, unfortunately. Really not nice. So, cannot recommend, except to say: avoid. Not worth the pain in the butt that this has become once they get your credit card info.
Clean-ish inside, for a gym. Adequate equipment for most workouts.
