I hate to leave a negative review like this but I’ve been trying to cancel for months and just had to get a new credit card because no one would respond to my emails or calls. For how nice and friendly Johnny was I’m incredibly disappointed. Anyways, if you sign up be sure to ask how you’d like to cancel since that seems to be impossible.

EDIT: I’ve emailed the Gmail 5 times since October of 2024, I sent an email asking how to cancel on 09/06, 09/16, 10/11, 02/10 and 02/13. I’ve called countless times with no answer, I’ve left a voicemail on three different occasions. I ended up calling my credit card company and asking for the phone number associated with the transaction because I thought the number I was calling was outdated but the number associated with the credit card account is disconnect. The email and phone number was from the website. After the disconnected phone number associated with the credit card transaction I gave up and just accepted my loss of getting a new card, which was the ultimate inconvenience I was trying to avoid.

This is the best and cleanest gym in Carpinteria. I love how friendly and kind the owner is, it makes a big difference and sets the tone for everyone to be kind and friendly to one another. A+

Just joined and experience thus far has been great. Sign up was entirely online - I did end up calling to get some help as I thought I hadn't received the link sent by text. The owner, Jonny, actually answered the phone and was a pleasant dude to interact with! He felt like a longtime friend. My parents are small business owners and it's that kind of interaction that keeps people coming back. Plus, you could tell he genuinely appreciates his customers.

The gym is small but mighty. There is a back outdoor portion to the gym but since I've been working out at night, I haven't been able to utilize but I definitely plan to use the heavy bag once daylight saving time hits. The gym is very clean as well.

Usually go there when in town. A small gym but you can get a decent workout there.
Owner real helpful in helping me buy some visits and being to able to enter on off hours.
He followed through nicely.

My Thanksgiving resolution was to sign up for the gym and establish a habit of going regularly by New Year's. Imagine my surprise when I discovered I could sign up online (on the holiday!!) and enter the gym via fancy app anytime I please - what a cool feature! Jonny is the best and I'm so happy to incorporate his business into my life!

Love the community vibe in this place. Jonny is always making improvements to the facility and has been adding equipment (big and small) since I’ve been a member over the last couple years. Highly recommend to anyone in Carp, no matter their age or fitness level

Owner is extremely kind and helpful! The gym is extremely well kempt and clean, has all the exercise machines I need and more! Also, the atmosphere of the gym is really enjoyable - everyone knows each other and is almost family like. Love the addition of the boxing bags they have as well.
