My daughter’s been coming to this boxing gym for a month already and let me tell you her confidence has improved very much. I had been looking for a boxing gym for quite sometime. I just couldn’t find the right one that made me feel comfortable with her training there. Casillas boxing gym is like a big family how they interact with each other is fun to watch :) I like that they’re very welcoming . My daughter enjoys coming here a lot. I will say this though, boxing is not for everyone. Some parents won’t like the way coaches coach their children, some kids won’t like the way the coaches discipline them because of how stern they can be, but boxing is all about discipline and structure. . And this is what casillas boxing gym brings to the table it’s all about building character, structure, respect, and discipline. . To be a great fighter you must have all.

I've been bringing my two kids for 5 years to Casillas Boxing Gym and let me just say, I will CONTINUE to bring them and he is the best at discipline and he is caring. It's a tough sport and he shows them discipline and he has good coaches that are helpful as well. Thank you for welcoming my kids and everyone there. To those who say that Casillas don’t care about training the kids and that his so disrespectful and that he only cares about the money!!! Well that’s a lie at casillas boxing gym my kids has never been disrespected in any type of way and he trains every single kid he takes 2 kids at a time to train he also has other coaches that helps him train .. I bring my kids from Monday to Friday and so far as for me I love casillas gym and I also love the way way he trains … My kids feel more secure of them selfs thanks to casillas boxing gym… There for I give him 5 Stars…

Good place to take your son daughter to learn boxing. Boxing is a contact sport and there is many skills involved in this sport. Many people complain that it seems the kids only hit the punching bag and do basic exercises like jump rope shadow boxing stretches and exercises that seem useless.. all this thing are important and necessary shadow boxing helps improve movement jump ropes with conditioning and foot work hitting the punching bag builds strength and stamina this is a sport that involves lots of punching. Some claim the coach casillas is too macho or disrespectful or treats the kids too hard . This is a contact sport this is boxing not ballet a stern military discipline is a must specially when you are dealing with teens . Discipline is an important skill in any martial art and contact sport you must be hard on the kids to build character in them . If you want your kid to be spoken to softly take them to learn ballet not boxing. This is a boxing gym not a dance studio . There's is sweat and blood this things build brotherhood amongst the kids like warriors. The coach is good he is hard on the kids and pushes them. This is what a good coach does a person that really wants to build you up and help you develop your full potential some one that cares about you will always be hard on you will always push you

The owner Casillas is one of the most
DISRESPECTFUL,MACHISTA, WANNABE BOXER I have met.
I was talking to my son and he approached to me by asking who I was, and if I had box before, and signaled to shut my mouth after telling him that I haven't done this sport before. I found it very offensive and disrespectful that he humiliated me in-front of all parents. PLEASE TAKE YOUR KIDS ELSEWHERE since this place is overcrowded with kids and the short little owner clearly only cares about the money since most of the kids aren't getting the attention to improve the technique or performance. My son started last October 2022, my husband signed him up the first time we went to check the place out. They teach the kids respect and discipline. I have not visited the principals office since my son started training here. You can feel the unity and the family like atmospher of this place. Great Great gym with great coaches.

My kids are just starting but they really love it here. Everyone is so welcoming and very helpful. The coaches are really good with all the kids. They're always on top of every kid helping them out. Casillas is an awesome guy but this true they need to train the kids more and show them foot moves hand moves not just let then punch bags on their own give them a least an hour training as a group atmosphere is great just missing those extra steps would be better if they fixed those flaws……11/1/22..to answer casillas my son boxed there for a month I sat their watching everyday same routine day by day we are just giving you feedback to be better so you can retain ppl and no you don’t focus on kids you focus on (some kids )

First off its an eh place. When you enter you will have to do stretch. Then they will put you to do some jump rope. Then they would just let you hit the bag. I went there for 2 weeks and in those TWO weeks they DIDNT train me. They dont care about the kids. I quit and im going to a better one.

best spot to meet many pros walking in the gym, casillas is a a great person with the skills and professionalism and aspects of the sport he can actually make your kid a pro his been on TV many of times and knows alot of people in the boxing world, plus his price is unheard of, I box here and I know this is a real boxing gym even tho they never make me spar un less I want to no pressure to spar but they do like and welcome other gyms to spar kids and adults, very competitive gym and the workouts are addicting

If you want your kids to learn bring them here. I have all three of my kids here, girls 10 & 12 and a boy 6. The couches are passionate about what they do and if your kid(s) goof off they will be corrected on the spot, I for one appreciate that.
