Incredible studio! Misha is an amazing instructor, providing tailored tips and attention to each client while seamlessly conducting classes to fit a wide range of abilities. She pushes you, corrects you or makes modifications right when you need it, educating you about your body all while making you giggle and your muscles burn! The studio is intimate and immaculately clean. If you’re not sure if you should try out Central Core, just do it! You won’t be disappointed.

Had THE BEST time at my first Pilates class with Misha and my lovely friends from Women Making Waves (see some fun pics below)! As a non-invasive body sculpting specialist, I'm a huge advocate for self-care/self-love and anything health/wellness related, so I hit the gym frequently because #HealthisWealth. I honestly thought pilates would be easy, but it was suuuper challenging (in the best way), and I love a good challenge! My abdominals were on fiiiire 😃🔥
Misha was super wholesome, energetic and a GREAT instructor - I learned so many tips/tricks about mind-body connection AND am still over the moon that she taught me a special technique to FINALLY get my first pull-up!!!!!!! 💪🥲 This was one of my fitness goals for 2024. CHECK! Thank you so much, Misha, for all that you do - you absolutely rock!!!! 😇♥️

CORE is a high-quality, online program that is designed to provide a clear path to assist users in meeting their fitness needs. The platform is organized in a way to allow users to easily navigate the site, select their focus areas and as well as highlighting workouts for each day of the week. My personal focus started with the 4-week Low Back Pain Relief Program to help minimize my chronic lower back pain associated with a back injury. By the end of the first week, I was already noticing a reduction in the late afternoon/evening back pain as well as a reduction in stiffness each morning. At the completion of the 4-week Low Back Pain Relief Program, I had increased my core strength and flexibility as well as almost eliminating the stiffness, soreness and lower back pain I had been experiencing throughout the day and evening for the past 12 months. It has been a life changing experience for me. I can’t say enough positive things about CORE and the support that is provided by Misha.

My experience at Central Core with Misha has been truly amazing. I came to her six months ago explaining that I've had chronic pain associated with EDS and autoimmune disease. In the past six months I've seen more improvement in my strength, range of motion, and confidence in movement than I have with various training and PT over the past 2 years. Misha is kind, respectful, and will push you within your comfort zone (which my comfort zone is now continuously expanding). I've been seeing results in the way I move when doing other exercise (can train harder) and in daily activities (less injury). I look forward to my sessions with her every week.

I have been bothered by constant back and muscle pain in my legs for a long time but lately due to standing a lot and working in the kitchen as cook its had become unbearable.
Lucky me I met Misha from Central Core Fitness and told her about it and she said come see me. So I did.
Now 2 months later, due to her teachings in her studio and the 15 minute exersise she gave me to do at home every other day I have the first time in years little pain, with the prospect of no pain soon. Because of that I more energy to face the what may come again. She put me on the right path and as she told me now it is up to me to keep it going.

Misha is incredibly talented and dedicated to helping people heal through understanding the connection between the physical body and the brain. She can quickly assess and make suggestions, whether in a private training or small group class, for each client to immediately make improvements in their daily life and the activities they pursue.
I highly recommend scheduling a private or small group session with Misha. It will open your eyes to how little adjustments can have big pay-offs when it comes to your physical and mental health! And after your session, grab a coffee, walk around, and enjoy Pismo Beach!

Misha is amazing! I went in barely walking with two bulging discs in my lower back, the L 5 and S 1, after my first 25 minute session I already felt so much better. This is after my third session and I feel great! I can’t wait to continue taking these classes! If you are in pain I highly recommend calling now!:)

Achieve all your goals and then some!
I’ve been a client of MPS and now Central Core for 9+years.
After my 3rd abdominal surgery, I had inflammation and muscular imbalance. I needed help, hope and a solution. I researched reformer Pilates and STOTT trained instructors in particular, which is how I found Misha. Her repertoire and team of instructors helped me regain balance and strength within 6 months, I was thrilled!
A new setback came 3 years later, this time cancer. Surgery was curative, yet unfortunately, I experienced a rare surgical complication which left me with permanent calcium deficiency. I was told by two specialists, exercise was going to be difficult and quite likely over for me. The prescription was rest with no physical exercise for an entire year. I was in pain all the time, any movement hurt. When those 12 months were over, I slowly started to move my body and rejoined group Pilates classes. It took some time yet I started to feel good again and then finally I became pain free.
As of today, I continue to get stronger, healthier and in better shape, exceeding all expectations. Pilates and Core training continue to be the solution to my movement and muscular challenges. The success I experienced inspired me to pursue STOTT training and mentorship from Misha. None of this would’ve been possible without Misha’s wealth of knowledge, expertise and encouragement.

Pismo Beach is known for a quiet beach town with great food, delicious food, and amazing views of the ocean.
That is why I was happily surprised when I found another business in the area that rocks what they do, and a great value.
This is Central Core fitness studio.
Central Core is hard to pin down exactly what they do (fitness studio, Pilates,group classes, etc?) as they offer so many unique classes to offer.
I met the owner & head trainer Misha. She is super passionate and knowledgeable in lots of aspects of training and getting the most out of your training time (super important). Definitely knows her stuff.
I decided to try the pilates class first. Pilates is the class that uses those cool glide type equipment and resistance straps.
I have always wanted to try these machines, and glad I took this class first. This class was lead by Misha. It was nice there was another gentleman in the class and good to have another person who had taken Pilates classe before.
The class really hit almost all the core body parts and enjoyed the WHOLE body experience.
Misha tailored the exercises to each persons strengths and needs. Perfect class. I was sore and felt stronger all at the same time.
With that positive experience I signed up for TRX (those cool yellow straps) and their pump and jump class (back to back classes, booya!).
These were taught by Cameron another instructor here, and she was very helpful. She kept the class motivated and pushed us.
I really liked both classes. The trx exercises really helped both isolate the muscles a good burn.
I also appreciated that it helped give extra support for my knees while letting the exercises really work my muscles.
The pump and jump is a modified Pilates class and switch off with weight training. I liked the Pilates jump and it really helped my focus on my legs and kept my knees strong. (Also fun to jump jump...)
I really like the feel of the studio. Supportive staff that take the time to really care about us (the students) is just the start for an amazing experience.
I would definitely recommend trying out a few classes (Pilates, trx), and see for yourself.

Misha is simply the smartest instructor I know... and I am a fitness instructor in the industry for over 20 years! Misha started working with my 13 year old daughter who has chronic anxiety, headaches and stomach aches. Within a week her headaches were gone! Misha does a LOT of neuro training with her, and recently started also working in some Pilates.
Adolescents are hard to please, so I will say my daughter has NEVER complained about attending Misha's sessions. She knows it's good for her and feels a difference in her day to day life.
If you have a child that struggles with sensory integration, chronic anxiety, ADHD or any other neurological imbalance, I would HIGHLY recommend you give Misha a try. She knows some amazing tricks to help get the brain and the body connected.
Misha's range of exercise knowledge, her education on the brain, and her vibrant personality makes this a no brainer... RUN (don't walk) to your next session with Misha!
(And if you struggle with running... Misha will help you RUN again!)

My husband loves working out with the team at Central Core. He appreciates the variety and quality of the workouts. Even with a variety of levels in the classes he feels that he gets a tailored workout that challenges him. During the virus shut down Misha has provided one on one coaching using Facetime. She really knows how to make virtual coaching efficient.
He gets challenging workouts and loves being able to continue his classes.
We're lucky to have this studio and the instructors in Pismo Beach.

Central Core Retreats are phenomenal! I've been coming to Central Core Retreats for the past 5 years. I'm blessed to be able to visit at least 2-3 times per year. Here are some of the reasons why I keep coming back...
Misha's dedicated team of instructors are extremely skilled and experience, this coupled with the varied range of classes tailored perfectly to the mixed ability of the groups (beginners, intermediate and advance levels all in the same classes).
Then there's the food! Rewarding yourself - you worked our hard! You deserve it!! Delicious food from locally owned restaurants and wine tasting from locally owned wine bars. Lunch is always included on Saturday with a nice beach walk afterwards. Wine tasting after our "wind-down yoga stretch. Ending with brunch on Sunday with mimosas.
Finally the company, you will leave with an amazing group of new friends.
These weekend retreats are a little piece of heaven and more!
All in all Central Core Retreats are the perfect place to relax, unwind, kick start a healthier diet and practice Pilates while making new friends!

Came here after the birth of my son to rehab and strengthen my ever changing body. Misha not only fixed me right up, she converted me for life. Friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. As a kinesiology major it's always difficult for me to find classes where I feel the instructor is knowledgeable, capable and effective in delivering results. Misha does just that. Would give 6 stars if I could.
