At Central Valley Performance and Recovery, we know you are the kind of person who wants to reach your physical best. In order to be that way, you need to be in an environment that pushes you to your best.
The problem is most people don’t know where to go to be surrounded by like-minded people, which makes you feel like reaching your fitness goals is impossible.

Kyle is super knowledgeable and very friendly. The atmosphere here is more goal oriented for everyone, you won’t find a single person in this gym who is rude, everyone is excited for your progression and acts more selflessly then selfishly. Having a bad day? Come to the gym, have everyone encourage you. Pick up heavy shit and then put it down.

Griff (his dog) also loves to hangout in the gym with us, kinda like the sweet lovable team mascot we all wish we had day to day.

I have been coming here now 10-11 months, I was feeling bad about myself and honestly this has changed a lot for me, coming from injuries and not knowing a single thing about what I was doing to feeling more confident and happy to head to the gym.

Between Kyle, griff and the other people who come here it makes it a 10 out of 5 for me.

I've been going here for 7 months now. I never wanted to do the whole gym experience, it was to overwhelming and I had no clue where to even start. With Kyle I got the complete opposite experience! He explains everything, sets up a plan that's perfect for you and your goals. Everyone at the gym is so kind and encouraging no one is judging you! I've have seen huge growth in myself! I'm a pretty petite person and he has gotten me to a point of power lifting I never thought I'd achieve! If you're looking for a gym and a place to reach your goals this is the place to go!

I stumbled across Kyle while looking for a personal trainer to help me with one-on-one training and I’m a lifer here now. Kyle has so much knowledge and passion for helping others it shows in his training and accolades. I’ve seen him train with younger and older males and females with and without handicaps and all. He’s also a professional Powerlifter if you’re looking for a solid trainer there too. Dudes holds some crazy numbers if you look at my pictures. Anyways, give the guy a call and see if he’s the right fit for you. If not, he’ll still probably point you in the right direction.

Great powerlifting gym! I dropped in to squat and bench. I thought I was in the wrong place at first because it's a residential neighborhood, and you go in through Kyle's driveway to the gym, which is his garage. Kyle was super welcoming and he gave me a brief tour. A lot of equipment in a compact space. Calibrated 25-kg plates and the rest are pound plates. Two squat racks, a bench rack, and a deadlift platform, plus a bunch of accessory stuff like an air bike and kettlebells.

His rehab work is exceptional, he has rehabbed two of my injuries in person and also provided valuable (and much needed) guidance through coaching whenever I've encountered pain. Central Valley Performance and Recovery was recommended following an injury to my shoulder and arm that left me unable to perform a light weight dumbbell curl without tremendous discomfort. With therapy and specialized training, I've regained use and range of motion of the arm and feel much better. We've moved on to full-body training to improve core strength, stability, and balance.

Kyle is such a knowledgeable coach. I’ve been on his powerlifting team for a few years now and he’s brought me from being a newbie in the sport to a competitive record breaker. Even while I’ve been on hiatus from competing (expecting in Feb 22) he still provided online coaching and was always available for any questions I had. Both his in person and online programming are beneficial for anyone from newbie to advanced and does a great job customizing based off of your strengths and goals. His gym is also well taken care of and he makes sure to interact with everyone there no matter how many people are working out at a time. Can’t recommend Kyle and CVPR enough!!

I had been living with a swollen leg the past 3 years with no direction from my primary care physician. After being introduced to Kyle, I have been a client for over a year and he has done more for me than a doctor! The swelling went down significantly, the skin pigmentation restores to normal, and no issues currently.

From there I started training with Kyle and I have seen significant weight loss, improved mobility, and back to my normal fitness activities. His gym is truly a one stop shop. The members are extremely friendly and the environment is filled with positivity and encouragement. I highly recommend Kyle for your fitness and recovery needs.
