We love Chamisal! Very family friendly and amazing views! Great pickleball tournaments, ladders, and socials, hosted by Mike Zury. They have similar for tennis. I also did their workout classes with both Susan and Marcia, who will kick your booty into shape! Nice pool, lap pool and 2 jacuzzis for the kids during the summer. The gym is a tad outdate, but they have so many pieces of equipment and it'snever busy. Nice locker rooms, and small outdoor playground for the kiddos. So relaxing to sit on the patio enjoying your favorite beverage and meal from the restaurant while admiring the beautiful valley views! They are always working on improving the property and expanding courts. Love seeing one of the owners, Robert, playing in tournaments. He and his staff are very accommodating and friendly.

I am a new member and am really enjoying it! The grounds are beautiful and the members have been very kind and welcoming. I use the lap pool, which is small but works well for my needs. Sometimes I have to wait a bit for a lane, but that is ok because I can relax on the loungers while I wait. Overall, I am very happy that I joined!

A special place for our family. Our kids have grown up swimming here. Santa, birthday parties, nights watching stars after dinner, and a staff that always greets you with a smile. The place is beautiful, comfy, warm, and welcoming. Best club on the peninsula!!

Needs maintenance and updated amenities. Smells like urine in pool areas. The staff is always in your face.
Not recommended for people under 55. I found mold in the ice in my water..

Quality place with something like 10+ pickleball AND 10 tennis courts. Had lunch at restaurant and was not disappointed. The Ahi Tuna salad is the bomb!

I grew up coming here, and now me and my husband are members. We have been members again for about a year and are super happy. Everyone is so nice and it has a beautiful view of Steinbeck’s castle rock in Markham Ranch from all parts of the property.

A little bit of tennis going on, perhaps 5 courts. A large group of unmasked people( mostly members) in a wine drinking group, say 15 or so sitting by court 1, in front of club house,other than that it was really quiet.. a beautiful day, too. no one in pool, 1 lap swimmer, no one laying out, hadnt been there in a while, but i noticed the foot traffic coming in from main parking is channeled through what used to be the proshop, and clothing store, it opens into an office area,the cafe and lounge area, or straight back outside to courts. Not sure when that happened, but its really dark at the entrance and not very welcoming at all. No one says hi, just doing work, or talking on there phones, hope its not always like that.

Chamisal is the hidden gem of the Monterey Peninsula. The largest tennis and fitness club around with two incredible pools that open and heated all year. They have dedicated pickleball courts and two bocce ball lanes with outdoor fire pits. The Bistro serves great food and drinks. The fitness center has brand new equipment and it's super clean. Chamisal has several social events throughout the year for their members and their guests. Simply put, it's the best bang for your buck.

Voilà un endroit très agréable, et très bien équipé: grande piscine, jacuzzi, salle de sport, de nombreux cours de Tennis. Tout cela avec un personnel très agréable et très à l'écoute!
Particulièrement Philippe, le serveur/barman super sympa du restaurant.
La cuisine est délicieuse elle aussi !
Je recommande, et j'ai hâte d'y retourner lors de mon prochain séjour!
