The gym staff needs to be better trained. Young employees are rude and behave like jocks. Not trying to put any of them down, but none of them would survive 1 Round in the boxing/Muay Thai ring with me. As a boxing/kickboxing coach myself, I’ve learned the art of discipline and being professional. Your appearance(muscle mass) has nothing to do with your fighting skills. These young kids don’t know that. Again, the gym itself is nice. It’s just the young so called “fitness trainers” that need to be better trained at behaving professionally. They can be very rude and unprofessional

I paid extra to be able to get the access to swimming pool area. In fact, I just come to swim, not to the Gym.
But this water fountain is not working for more than a month. I complained several times to the front desk, but no action.
The water fountain for the Gym user is better quality, actually.
As the sauna/ swimming pool user, we should get better facilities, including water fountain, since we pay more.
If you look carefully, you can see that many part of the broken water fountain already get rusted.
I don’t feel safe to drink for the other side.
We just need one good one, not two that takes turn of being broken.

Good Gym Potential To Be BETTER. Scanner to the pool suana/steam room never works so youre always waiting for someone on the inside to open the door.They try take payment 10 days before due date so you have two due dates, idk why. They have an ice machine but wont share with their members. Water station gives warm water and are filthy.

Staff do not regulate premium areas to ensure lower tier members aren't using (abusing) thse areas (sauna, steam room, pool & hottub). The supervisor on site was very nonchalant and dismissive when I complained. Staff fails to realize that this is a breach of contract which could easily lead to a class action lawsuit against Chuze which would result in every single premium membership being refunded (in full) to every member to ever have that membership. Which I imagine would bankrupt the company, costing them all their jobs. To them it's a silly regulation that they don't see the importance of enforcing, despite this possible catastrophic outcome. Sorry to be dramatic, but I dont pay a premium so someone else can take advantage of it. Chuze made a contract with us all and I take that very seriously. Add overcrowding to the mix and you've really got a recipe for disaster from an angry member.

Exterior of gym is always extremely dirty with lots of trash on the floor, while the Walmart supermarket next door is swept. Chuze has plenty of staff who could go out and sweep the front. If I were the manager, that would be the first thing I would clean. There is no excuse for not keeping your storefront clean.

Best gym I ever was a part of. The value for the price is well worth it. They also manage the guests quite well when they get stupid & selfish with community equipment. (As in hogging it by sitting there just doom scrolling on equipment and not letting others jump in so we can get on with our work out and get out. 🙄). That’s priceless! And all of the staff I’ve encountered are amazing.

I went at about 7 pm for my first time, just to check out the locker room because I was in the area, and it was very dirty, lots of soap scum and mildew buildup everywhere! The next day, I went in and decided to swim some laps and check out the spa services. The jacuzzi railings had a thick layer of mold/mildew buildup right where the water level was. I was about to throw up. The pool and jacuzzi had a very disturbing odor as well; it didn't smell like chlorine, as it should have. It smelled like a dog's ball sack!

Love to come here for the last two years w my parent due to how clean it is. Everything has been great, especially with the Amount of classes they offer, but recently they changed the way you register classes through the app three days in advance, And it has become very difficult to sign up. Signing up in advance is OK but three days is just too much. It causes a lot of people to sign up for classes out of FOMO,
Because the classes are always full now, but when I go to the class, there seems not full at all. My parent, who is older, definitely more reluctant with the new setup as it’s all on the app now.

Kinda wish they would do reservation online but only 24 hrs ahead and some spots for walkin or in gym signup 30’ before.

I go to the Anaheim location. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is clean, and wipes are available. All of the equipment is in good working order. The instructors, whose classes I've attended, are knowledgeable and encouraging. They have a pool with aqua fit classes, a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. They also offer hydromassage and massage chairs.

I have been to 3 other Chuze locations, and Anaheim is the best by far!

I like how everything is well organized and clean. Theres plenty of good gyms out there, but one of the things they lack on is Hygiene and Cleanliness and Chuze has it good. Well done. Whenever the machines break, the staff, always lets us know and gets it done asap. I also love the way kids club staff are always attentive and fun with my kiddos. The fact that my babies every day say, "Are we going to play with the kids today?" or "Are we going with my teachers?" says that they are doing a good job. By all means, this has been very convenient for me and my family. Benefits me, my husband and my kids. As a MAX member, I can say that all the amenities, and perks is just the best. Would 100% recommend this membership if you are a person who: loves going every day. have kids who aren't yet in school or need someone to watch them, have friends or family who would like to go with you. I'm not one to complain, but today I feel the need to.
I loved the yoga session with instructor Alice! She's fantastic and helps a lot with my osteoarthritis. I make great arrangements at work to have Thursday available and go to the gym just for my yoga class. The class has never been completely full for the past four years. Today I arrived just in time, and there was no space on the app, but there was in the room. I even brought my own mat. And the girl at the front
(her hair was a light purple tint) told me she couldn't do anything (and she didn't even try)she said I had to make a reservation three days in advance... I never knew that and never received notification. It was disappointing to go today, and even more so to not be helped by the staff. It seems ridiculous to have to make a reservation three days before a class. On top of that, the girl told me, "Have a good workout!" (What? My race home?)

I have a great experience since I’ve been going to choose by my house, which is the one in Beach Boulevard. Everyone is very friendly like all of the employees are always welcoming when I walk in so that’s really nice and I feel like they really have a lot of activities. I am a senior citizen which means I have used numerous clubs over the years. Chuze fitness staffs has been the most friendly staffs that I have encountered. At the end of the day, machines are similar. It is the human who operates the facility. Love Chuze and all my family followed me to enroll.

The gym is great. Plenty of weights and machines and amenities. Staff is friendly. I've joined Crunch, 24 and Planet Fitness in the past and the Chuze Fitness in Anaheim is by far the nicest one and you for sure get value for what you pay. I only left because of my new location. Thank you for a great couple of years. I got down to 15% body fat at that gym. Thank you

I recently joined this gym. I like the staff and the cleanliness, but am shocked as to how many people sit on the equipment looking at their phones. It is almost comical. In particular, I love using the Express Circuit but there is nothing quick about it. I really wish Chuze would enforce the policy of moving to the next station. Coming from a bootcamp style workout, maybe this cell phone use at the gym is the norm, but it will definitely stop me from renewing my membership. Some of us just really want to get our workouts done!

I’ve been a more membership at this gym and generally appreciate the facilities, but I’ve had some frustrating experiences with the front desk staff that I feel need to be addressed.

On multiple occasions, I’ve noticed what seems like inconsistent enforcement of the check-in policy—particularly when it involves me or my workout partner, who is Asian and part of the LGBT community. For example, my buddy once scanned in but had to briefly return to his car. When he came back just a few minutes later, the staff insisted that he scan in again “for security reasons,” even though he had clearly seen him walk out. (he said i know you just left but you had to scan again) I had to interrupt my workout to go scan check in for him in again.

In another instance, I was already checkin but my buddy came in later so i had to walk to the front desk to do buddy pass check in, and even though the staff had just seen me walk out from inside gym area, they required me to scan check in again for security reasons. Meanwhile, I’ve observed other members entering without scanning or being questioned. In the same day and same staff guy I ordered a smoothie after my workout, and despite ordering before another customer, I was made to wait nearly 30 mins while their order was prioritized. It felt intentional and petty, and only added to a growing pattern of unprofessional and possibly biased behavior.

I fully support the need for security and policy enforcement, but what’s troubling is the lack of consistency—and who these rules seem to apply to. It’s disappointing to feel singled out, especially when others are not held to the same standard.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works with the staff to ensure policies are applied fairly and without bias.

This is why I love chuze.

Upbeat and clean environment. The movie room! All the amenities such as the massage chairs and smoothie bar. All of the work out options from team fitness to the green field area to the options in cardio equipment. Chuze has everything plus the worker are always super friendly.

The employee (blonde woman) on Monday, May 26, had the audacity to threaten revoking my membership just because I left seven minutes late? What if someone was dealing with stomach problems and needed a few extra minutes in the restroom? That level of inflexibility shows a serious lack of understanding.

If you want to revoke my membership over something this minor, go ahead! There are plenty of better gyms out there. And let's not forget the dirty steam room that left my eyes red and hurting last time. I suggest management focus on addressing real issues rather than punishing loyal members over trivial matters.

This facility has everything you need for a quick and efficient workout. Neighborhood is a little rough (Beach Blvd) but other than no real issues. I do wish it stayed open later (like 2am during the week and 12am weekends). Coming from 24 HR Fitness I was a bit apprehensive but I like everything and it's super clean and even cheaper :)

I attended the Les Mills body combat with Alex on Sunday and she's amazing! She knows we are not to her level so she keeps adjusting the class for us. It was my first time with the class and she keeps encouraging me to keep going. I know my form isn't that great but I was having a great time!

I also came back for TT on monday after maybe more than a year and I had Dawn.I told her my knee was acting up and she kept checking in on me to make sure I'm doing ok and not hurt myself more. I loved it and I'll make sure to keep coming back!

I went this morning to Chuze Fitness in Anaheim (on Beach). I was unable to use the new app. I was unaware of this new app. There’s no signs or emails letting me know of these changes. I asked for help at the front desk (by the way, no one was at the front desk). All I get is that it’s an app that has been working for over a year.(I was using the old app). I tried to login & I couldn’t. I asked Dakota (supervisor) to help me login. At this point I am frustrated. The supervisor Dakota threatened me that the next time I was rude to him, he would close my account. He told me this 5+times during the 20 +minutes I was there as I frustrated trying to login. He NEVER HELP ME BUT THREATEN ME to close my account several times. IS THIS HOW YOU RESPOND & RESOLVE A PROBLEM FOR YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMER? I attempted many times to login but was unsuccessful.Chuze fitness new app did not work for me & the customer service team is very poorly trained.

This is hands down the best chuze in OC! I highly recommend the team training class as well as body pump. Megan teaches the team training class and you will leave drenched in sweat. She really makes sure your doing the workouts correctly and will come to you and give you some tips if you need. Everyone in the class was super nice and motivating each other which I loved. I will definitely be coming back to this team training class and this gym in general. The staff is amazing and the people that work out here are really nice as well.

I’ve been a member for 5 years and have always had a positive experience with the staff here, but it seems like there have been quite a few new hires lately. Most of them have been great except for 2 I’ve recently had encounters with. I had an uncomfortable encounter with a larger lady wearing glasses while she was cleaning the bathroom at 11:20 PM. Since they close at midnight, I didn’t think I was overstaying my welcome. I was fixing my hair, and she was standing right behind me, almost breathing down my neck waiting for me to finish fixing it! She was holding a rag and cleaning solution right behind me, waiting for me to finish while staring at me in the mirror. She had already cleaned every other mirror, so I was confused why she didn’t just give me a little space and come back after I was done. I wasn’t going to take 40 minutes? Once I finished, I moved to another mirror to let her clean the one I was using. This made me really uncomfortable, and it’s the second time recently that I’ve had a not-so-great experience in my 6 years at Chuze. I really love this place, which is why I’m still giving it 4 stars, but that lady’s approach was not it.

I love this gym! The staff is friendly, the equipment is well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere is great. However, lately, it’s been getting really crowded, especially with groups of 3-4 people working out together on the same machine. Unfortunately, they often spend more time talking or being on their phones, which causes delays for others waiting to use the equipment.

It would be helpful if there was a policy limiting the number of people per machine to 2 at a time, to keep things moving more efficiently. This way, everyone can get their workout done without having to wait too long. Other than that, it’s an amazing place to work out!

I don't work out here, but have observed this place many times. Two 2 different locations. 1 in Cypress and the other in Anaheim. Must be a fabulous place, very popular. There is always a big crowd going in and out , more so at the Anaheim location. Beach Blvd and Lincoln. If it wasn't top notch, it wouldn't be so very busy!!! Everyday they're open. I believe they are closed Sunday, or close early...

I signed up for the MORE package at $34.99 because it advertised an Unlimited Buddy Pass, but this is a complete scam. They want your buddy to sign up for their own membership, making the “Unlimited Buddy Pass” totally useless unless they pay too.

Today, when I tried to work out with my buddy, the staff was incredibly rude, refusing to let us work out together and speaking to us in a condescending tone. Their behavior was unacceptable and unprofessional.

To top it off, I decided to cancel my membership after this terrible experience, and they charged me $83 just to cancel! Hidden fees, deceptive advertising, and rude staff—this gym is an absolute nightmare. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

Staff is super friendly & it's always clean, the gym is small enough that it's not intimidating but big enough so that you don't feel congested. I tend to go super late at night (9-12), but I feel like there's always enough machines; you won't be constantly waiting. The only thing I wish this gym has is a hip thrust or booty builder machine. If you are all about glutes, it might get annoying having to set up shop every session.

I really love this gym. It has great amenities. It's so clean, the staff is so friendly. So many various group classes to do. The locker rooms are spotless and beautiful. It's my fave place to be.

I love chuze from Fullerton they are always so organized and helpful.. we come to the anahiem location mostly because of the smootie bar... but when I come here it's the total opposite it's been 2 times that I check in for the zero gravity chair and there's no organization with staff they tell you 4 mins but it turns into 15 mins...isnt the new app supposed to make this easier? first of all there's no numbers on the chairs so when they tell you to go to chair #one and two or three people are confused and then when you check in if you don't hear your name they go ahead and pass reservation to another person when literally we had just checked in 4 minutes before the other person....and employees can't even go out of their way to come up to you and tell you" hey your chair is ready"show a little bit of effort that you care about a reservation if yall made this new app to make the process easier for us then shouldn't we get a notification on our phones that chairs are ready...

This location has been my go to for the past 4 yrs ☻ the staff is always very friendly and attentive, you always see a few associates cleaning the areas. Also the members here are usually very respectful of the equipment as far as re racking and wiping down after use.

Been a member for two years now, but have never really taken the opportunity to explore all that the gym has to offer.

Cynthia was incredible at answering my questions, taking the time to help me navigate the app and explaining how to jump into a class for group work outs.

It truly makes the biggest difference when you have employees like her who can create a welcoming environment that’s easy going and you want to return to! I appreciate the kindness and the service.

The staff are lazy, on Fridays they close the shakes station like 40 min before, other days they always have excuses to say it's close early. The restrooms are dirty most of the wipes are always empty. You can see them just talking here and there.

How cool that they have done renovations this last year, the sauna is hot now, they put in zero gravity chairs, but they are still missing the boots that massage the legs.
But there were other changes that I didn't like, like not having enough classes, and especially Team Training, I like that class, but what I like most is how Stephen and Chrissy teach the class. The system they want to keep us on screens still doesn't convince me, since it's not only my body that works, but also my mind, and I have to prepare it for when intense work comes, and this system doesn't help me. Just so you already know, starting with weight is the best for the body, and cardio last, but apparently they don't like this modality very much in class.
* One piece of news that just discouraged me more was that in order to use the Kids Clud service you must raise your membership to $50 so that the children can be there, WHAT? Who came up with that not sense idea? When I used to leave my son, I only paid $20 per month and only for the months I needed, without affecting my membership, and now they want me to get this service for 2 months, and my son won't even be there for the full 2 ​​months. Upload my membership, why? This is not fair for me, and they tell me that later I can lower it, but if I lower it they will no longer respect my cost that I have now, and it will be higher. This is how they motivate me to go to the gym.

I got the feeling that this was not the place for me for a long list of reasons and cancelled my membership the day I went in to get my ID picture taken for the membership. The website really misleads you into thinking it's more than a chain but this is the most chain gym I've ever seen in my life. Fast fashion, cheap perfume, and some of the weirdest energy.

I would've just let it be, but I cancelled my membership 45 days ago and they just charged me for my dues, even though there was been plenty of correspondence, I never even redeemed my membership after the trial, but it's all automation, burger king level service and cheap perfume.

I wouldn't go anywhere near this place unless you're the type of person to live in those tacky condos that keep popping up everywhere, raising hell on earth. You know the type.

Even after they responded to me here I still had to go and get more money back from the bank months later, these snooty customer service reps are just a reflection of your whole operation. See you at 0.
