Joining Chuze was a really great decision. Much better than the "big box" gym where they allow overcrowding in classes and folks are just downright rude. Also like the points earned when checking in, just a nice incentive that can be a motivator. The various member tiers help to meet needs of different budgets. The recovery area with hydromassage beds and other amenities was icing on the cake.

Today I was working out and a random man was taking pictures of me. He had no identification on himself. I noticed him taking pictures and confronted him and asked what he was doing.and said taking pictures of me! I asked him to erase them! This man had did ID himself and left and I went to fitness manager and said theres a man taking pics of me working out and he said that it was his employee, I told them that u can't take pics without permission and that guy still didn't seem to get the random man taking pics, I told them that this happens in the locker with members taking pictures and on the floor of gym and without consent of members u just cant do this. Maybe a lawsuit will change people thinking because the random guy taking pics still acted as if he wasn't doin anything wrong and I was overreacting which I just want to work out and not have a creep take pics of me lunging with weights and sitting there taking pics of me quietly imagine a female member? You guys are looking for a lawsuit.

When I decided to join this gym it was because it was bigger and cleaner and I loved all the equipment they have, but on June 9, a member of this same place stole my bag and my car keys, taking my car as well. Apart from the huge scare I went through and the shame and the great emotional damage they caused me that day, I was disappointed in this place knowing that they have terrible cameras that the detective could not formally accuse that thief well, and although there is a suspect and the CHUZE workers know that it is not the first time something like this happened, he could not make a formal accusation with this person and now I have to go through the embarrassment of continuing to come to the gym, and having to watch this thief, every time I come to do my exercises because the gym security could not prove that this person did anything wrong, that is why I do not recommend this place because despite the poor security they carry here, they also do not do to improve the cameras or the type of people they let in here, until now this thief continues to come without any consequences ……………. As for the rest, I want to say that the staff is very friendly, very welcoming, Emily Mistica, always very hard-working, keeping the place clean.

I don’t normally do reviews when I get disappointed but this morning I was rushing to go to gym since it was a hectic schedule. I didn’t realize my Airpods were dead, Usually when this happens and rarely happens I ask the front desk if they can charge it for me for a bit (and all of the other staff were nice enough to help me every time) but today I asked a favor to this girl for the first time we see each other so often but got turned down. First they might be lying about no cable I said i did have one then the Girl proceeded to say they can’t charge for liability reasons. I quitely just left and ruined my gym day. Mind you I have been here with Chuze for more than 2 years…. I’m quite disappointed… hopefully the staffing needs to be better soon!

I wish Google had .5. I've been a member since they've opened, and its slowly becoming too crowded - basically planet fitness with premium. Its easily a 5/5 gym for price and amenities, but I'd say its a 3.5 due to the following issues, which don't really seem addressed:

1. The gym floor is EXTREMELY crowded.
2. Guest passes are very abused, and staff rarely check. Kids on the floor were bragging about it. This lowers the quality for paying members.
3. Guest go when sick and also rarely clean up after themselves. They'll leave equipment not put away, and sweaty.
4. Sauna rules are not really enforced, and that room has people follow you in that don't pay for those amenities and then use them

Chuze is basically another planet fitness, but with more amenities.

There's a lot of things that set this gym apart from the rest.
The movie theater with the giant screen and surround sound for one.
Second this is the cleanest gym I've been in ever.
Third the staff is always friendly.
The fourth is that the maintenance guy is in the gym 5 days a week and constantly maintaining and repairing stuff unlike planet fitness for example
The only downside for me with Chuze fitness is the hours, but it's not a deal-breaker for me..

I had a really upsetting experience at this gym. While using the sauna, I took off my shirt — something I’ve seen others do. Suddenly, the manager, Mikayla, came in and very rudely told me to “get dressed.” I tried to explain my side, but she cut me off multiple times and refused to even listen.

When I went to the front desk to speak with her calmly, I said that if this was truly a problem, I’d rather cancel my membership. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she threatened me with a $50 charge, demanded my name and phone number, told me to never come back, and even called security on me — all without explaining any clear rules or giving me a chance to speak.

She was extremely rude, disrespectful, and clearly lacked basic customer service skills. If this is how members are treated, especially when trying to communicate respectfully, I would not recommend this gym to anyone. Very disappointing.

I am contemplating to join this gym though conflicted. There seems to be some concerns from the reviewers stating staffing issues... my friend drove 20 minutes to get there the other day at 7am and the gym was closed. No communication with the members that are paying for a membership which includes your stated business hours... Also not sure if there are issues with the sauna... the point would be a temperature that will bring the body to sweat and detoxification. Red light sauna sounds great, however I see 3 tiny lights in the photo. I would look into adding additional red/infrared lights.

I've been going to this gym for about a year and a half. I love the atmosphere and most of the staff. The equipment is great. What I can't stand is multiple times the gym is not open during its business hours. This is the second time in the last few months that I've shown up well after opening at least 20 to 30 minutes after opening and nobody's there. I can understand if it was a holiday and there was a sign but that wasn't the case. Now it's wasting my time and gas to come to a gym that may or may not be open. I know everybody hates on planet fitness but I went to The Stockton one for about 2 years before this gym and they were never closed like this. That says a lot. I'm paying good money for this gym and I expect it to be open.

Been a regular at this gym For a few months now. Showed up this morning, and no staff pad opened the gym over an hour after they were supposed to be open. Leaving multiple regular Patrons sitting outside, waiting and not knowing if their money was being wasted. Seriously, considering going somewhere else if this continues. Paying 35 a month to get and no access to a gym. It's not a good look. Never had that issue with planet fitness when I was only paying ten dollars a month. Just saying do better. You should have two people opening a business, not one.

Update 5/10/25 today at 6:20am me and multiple members couldn't enter the gym since no one showed up to open the gym. This is the third time this has happened to me over the past year. While waiting for the kids club to open at 4:30pm. Thinking we would show up early to while we wait I needed to go to the bathroom. So we are not able to use the bathroom when your child is with you. You have to wait till the kids club is open to leave your child there and then go to the bathroom. Which is ridiculous. I told one of the people that worked there how are people are supposed to use the bathroom while they wait?? That’s doesn’t make sense wouldn’t you think they will have a certain bath area for family. The employees mentioned unless you wanna go at somewhere close by? I said why when I’m already here that doesn’t make sense. And it’s ridiculous seems like they need to update the bathroom section for members while they wait for the kids club to open and make a family bathroom. Because I most definitely not leave my child unattended outside the bathroom and I’m using it. CHUZE UPDATE YOUR BATHROOMS FOR YOUR MEMBERS!

Place is a scam. When I signed up(premium membership) I was given access to all group classes except team training, and at first I loved it - hence the 2 stars. However, one month later and I am no longer able to attend any of the yoga, Pilate, or barre sessions. Their policy changed and I was given no notice. Now if I want access to those classes (granted I thought I was already paying for access to them) I have to upgrade my membership to the highest level, and renew a 1 year contract.

Also, state law requires that you be able to cancel member ships online but Chuze has made that process all but impossible. Do not recommend.

I have nothing but good experiences here. The classes are amazing! Just 45 min work out and you’re done, no need to work out on regular equipment. However, the regular equipment and the green grass area is very straightforward. The sauna and the recovery areas great combination with your work out. It’s a must to finish it just across the board this location is amazing. Highly recommend.

I personally like the way the gym is spread out. Lots of room to work out with equipment or solo exercises. I also like the fact that the aerobic room is available if there are no classes taking place. I can't say enough about the professionalism of the manager she's an excellent example of great customer service she has a bright affect good team leader. I've observed her dealing with difficult customers in a very calm and effective manner as well as cleaning the gym, actually showing the new employees how to clean properly, leading by example. She's an attribute this company.

The reason for a 1 star is because unless you leave a 1 or 2 star the problem you are having with any company doesn’t get addressed otherwise!! I’ve had this membership for almost a year and I mostly love the place close to home and their cleanliness! But closing sauna and gym amenities down because your business is having staffing issues is not a great reason to keep charging customers to be able to use your facilities for everything else apart from certain things at certain hours It is not fair to customers that have jobs and businesses of their own. I have two stores of my own and I don’t hold my customers responsible for my staffing issues! If it says that your gym is open till 10pm all the amenities that customers pay for during business hours should be available to them.

They do not ensure informed consent in filming group classes. There is no clear mention of filming certain classes on sign up screen on their app which they tell us to use. During the class, there were Chuze employees were staying at the front of classroom filming the whole time and it was extremely uncomfortable. Despite my request not to be filmed, they persisted. Their management's handling of this situation was unprofessional, arrogant and completely lacked sensitivity. I was told that it was special event that somehow made it ok to film (without consent) and one instructor mentioned about recording but I did not hear - no one heard - what we heard was music blasting before the class. This gym has had dangerous people including stalkers allowed in and they kept failing to implement adequate security measures. The ongoing failure to prioritize members' safety is evident in their poorly executed process.

I love coming here! It was very difficult for me to start my fitness journey; however, this place made it much easier than I expected. A lot of gyms are so overly crowded and not that clean. I do try to come as early as possible because I know it gets busy later in the day but here around 3:30 is perfect for me compared to the other gyms I've popped into.

More importantly, this gym is CLEAN!!!! This is a huge thing for me, especially in an establishment where there's a ton of people getting all sweaty. I'm not sure if because the facility is clean that more people also contribute and utilize the wipes after touching equipment, but however way I love it.

The staff here are also incredible. They are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I'm really thankful they have such great staff here.

To top it off, the amenities are well worth it. The movie cinema was so well thought out and designed. It's a great way to get away from the busy of the gym and just relax while doing cardio. Every workout I complete, I finish the day with a hydromassage. What a delightful thing to offer at a place where you strain your muscles. I've also done the body composition scan (pretty great tech there), and soon I will try the massage chair and sauna! :)

I've been going here for over a month now. I like it. The sauna and the massage chair after workouts are super. But, I had my bike stolen, which I left strapped in the bike parking lot in front of the entrance. The police did nothing. I bought a new bike and a thick chain on the lock. Crime even at the fitness entrance! I also don't know how to deal with visitors who just sit on the exercise machine and do nothing. But they occupy the exercise machine for a very long time. How to deal with them?

Been a member here for a while now... And the two top complaints would have to be the fact that the sauna is not part of the gym.. which would be ok if I could pay more to just add it .. but in order to get the sauna privileges you have to jump a few membership upgrades and pay for all the other (benefits) that you won't use need or want just to use it . So I would have to pay triple the rate just to use the sauna here and there.... And the saddest thing about this place is they removed the mirror in the locker room leaving only the ones up by the sinks... Which means you can't get a quick look at your progress while you're getting dressed instead you have to either walk practically naked over to the sinks to take a look or go get undressed in front of the sinks and crowd up the walkway which is really sad..

I recently switched to this gym and I absolutely love the staff ,love the equipment and I love the classes and daycare they offer my only con is about how inconsiderate some people are ,they HOG the equipment or save it for someone else and will stay on it for an hour on SAME machine ,and I don’t think that fair for other people who want to use it . For example I did a whole hour 1/2 work out and a girl stayed on the hip thrust machine my whole work out when she finally gets done I asked to use it and she said she was saving it for her friend lol like ,they really should put a limit on how long one can stay on equipment .I wish they would offer extended hours as well that would be great but so far a great gym .

I really like the structure of the gym, the hot Pilates and Yoga. My favorite is the Recovery Room... the Zero Gravity massage chair is the best!

I love the fact that is 5min from my house. Also all the equipment is new and well settled. I have tried all the classes and they are amazing, theres a cinema where you can chill but working out, how amazing is that! but my favorite part is the kids club!!!!! I have a 8 month old and I thought my fitness journey was over but thanks to the amazing staff and well equipped kids club I can workout with no problem and my baby loves it

Just recently signed up and I'm not that happy with this gym. Being a More member we have to ask permission to use the scale like if we are back in school. Gotta ask before using which makes no sense. If we are paying a premium price. Also I was informed today on 01/13/24 that the Suna area closes 30min before closing time. Which I was not informed about this upon signing up. Please check out other gyms before signing up.

i really like it here. Everyone is very nice and Amarus classes are like totes good. It doesn't feel intimidating at all when you first start out. I didn't like going to the gym unless it had to had to but I like coming to this one. This gym is introvert friendly as well. my friend bartholomew (pictured below) was training the whole gym on friday night it was super fun!
