What's not to like about this place, swimming pool is clean and warm, Spa is clean and well maintained as well. Showers are always clean and in order, no funky smells. Staff is exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of room to do what you need to do without feeling crowded or rushed. Generally a good vibe throughout.

Honestly so disappointed, my friend has a membership here and mind you she was helping City Sports to gain a member. Never been here so I was trying to try out the gym, did the 3 day free trial and the guy was being very rude about me not being able to get in because he said it takes “24 hours” to activate when no where on the website it says that. I’m super disappointed never will I come back again and will not recommend this gym, staff is super rude instead of gaining customers they are loosing customers.

A large, well equipped, well designed and maintained sports club. Includes a swimming pool and Basket ball court. Coaches are available. There is a well run Day care for looking after the children accompanying their parents to the club. The staff are friendly. The users are polished. Ample free parking space available. Charges are very reasonable. Strongly recommended.

I had a very disappointing experience at City Sports today. I went in with a guest pass, but the staff member at the front desk—a shorter man with a darker complexion—refused to scan it, claiming I had already used it. He was extremely rude and lacked basic manners. I felt humiliated by the way I was treated. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and would not recommend this gym to anyone I know.

Been coming here for almost 3 years with my husband. Pretty basic gym, wish they had more updated equipment but it’s get the job done. Biggest complaint… the music in here is so LOUD for no reason. As a person with sensory issues I’ve gone through 3 different types of noise cancelling headphones. Between the gym music and the Zumba classes with the door open I get overwhelmed. This is the only reason I’m considering trying a new facility.

I visited Antioch Memorial day week. My cousin and father in Law both are members in this Gym. They gave me a link for free pass for a week which never worked. The employee did let me get in for one day. I went to 24hrs fitness for the rest of the week. No issues with the pass. Employee had no clue why that happened, only to say "people take advantage of the pass that is the reason company do not allow it". How nice of a customer service policy. I've been a member for over 3 years ,I've seen staff come and go, I have rules that changes and not what I've signed or what I've been told. No one never calls you back from the corporate office and the spa/ jacuzzi has been down over a month they can never keep it clean.
When I first became a member I was fastedtalk into a membership to pay money for a family membership of four people but while singing I was told that what I was signing but it was nothing of the sort , it was something different.
I also told them I was disabled band wasn't a good reader and ask him to read it for me so I can know what I was signing.
This man also ask me my 4 members names and I went back to him to change two members names. So a year has passed there are new staffs again trying to get your business and you your money that is faithful deduct it out of your bank account every month. So I was told the paperwork that I signed was not a member of 4 account/ membership and that my wife had to pay again to go on my account and pay down payment and a extra $40 a monthly on my account.
I felt I was mislead, taking advantage of, lied to, and talking to these people asking for my contract was a hassle.
I also told them I was only getting the membership because my daughter was overweight and disabled and have a lot of health problems but I like to be in the water so I like the jacuzzi and spa my child was underage at the time.
From day one I was never on a family membership package.
I was manipulated and lied to to signed up at that time.
I have to pay 20 a PC for my family to come in ,there's no names on my account.
And they standing ten times down that's what I signed. And I did but that's not what me my and adult cousin was read before I signed.

I’ve been a member of this gym since 2022. It’s been great for my personal goals. It’s usually clean and tidy thanks to the employee who wears glasses with short black hair. I haven’t seen them in a while so I hope they are still employed here. The employee with the colored dark/blue hair is always friendly and cleaning up in the ladies locker room, too. The employees are pretty good here but these two have stood out to me personally. Great work ethic. It has been getting busier in the mornings and now midday. I do have one suggestion: early morning classes! I’d love to join the classes if they were available in the early morning. I saw that they recently added a mat pilates class which I am excited to try. I hope there are more times that become available for this class sooner rather than later. Just one star removed for the lack of early morning classes. Other than that it is a great gym!

I dropped off my son like I have done many times before to play basketball. No one has ever said anything. As, I am walking out a girl at the front asks if I will be staying. I said no I will be back .She states that I can't drop off my guests. I said well I have done this all the time. It hasnt been you when I come in. She then says I have spoken to you about this before and the district manager has called you. I said what, that's not true and you have never said anything about my son and no one has called me. She proceeded to argue with me. So, we going back and forth. I get my son and I said has she ever said anything to you? She says it's in the notes, so I say let me see where it notes you have spoken to me and I was called. She then says I can't its internal girl bye you lying. If its noted then you should be able to back up what your saying and she couldn't. Then she says October something at 5:34. I said yeah that's the last time he came in here and you weren't here. She just went on the last time I scanned in at that time for my son. Then some dude walked up telling me to be quiet boy get out my face. This girl is straight up lying. I guess she needed something to do. Just for lying I canceled my membership. Girl you got the wrong somebody. I guess they pick and choose who they do that too I see it all the time when I was coming regularly. Sometimes, I would come early morning or afternoon. The girl that opens is really cool the people on Saturdays really cool. This girl yes I am calling her a girl because she is. I stopped coming because the gym is nasty only one person cleans. The machines are grouse. One time there wasn't any toilet seat covers for a week. Give me planet fitness, 24 hour or Inshape any day.

Beware. You can cancel your membership 3 times and they will still call and harass you and bill you. They refuse to cancel my membership and leave me alone. It’s insane how poor their customer service is. I’ve went down in person twice, emailed corporate and called and still for the past 7 months they call and attempt to bill me. Been coming here since around 2018. The gym is spacious lots of new machines. It has plenty of squat racks and benches. Upstairs is cardio. Some of their stair masters have been broken for past 6 months need to get that fixed, everything else is legit. It gets crowded from 3:30p - 7p. Pretty empty from opening to around 3p and from 7p til closing. The mens locker room could be a bit cleaner. Keep the soap dispensers full and paper towels. In 2019 my car window got broken in the gym parking lot. It was an increasing concern as others where getting broken into as well. They have a Cop come by and patrol the lots ever so often now. Over all minus my incident in 2019, its a good gym. Has all the basic stuff you need. Staff is chill mostly mind their business and I've never had an issue with staff. 3/5 since i got my car broken into at the lot, cleaner locker rooms, fix cardio machines.

Since joining this gym over 3 years ago (when they first opened), I've seen minimum improvements and an influx of members. Not sure if all of them are paying members becuase certain level of membership allows you to bring 2 extra people for the price of one. The place has gotten really crowded after the pandemic and wait time for equipment can be long. You definitely have to adjust your workout per availability.
If you come after 8pm, the parking lot is pitched black. I've notified the staff a couple of times and they simply ignore me. They said the lights are on a timer. I understand that but that doesn't mean the timer is properly set. The parking lot should be brightly lite during evening hours for the safety of everyone.
The staff does a decent job keeping the place clean. Membership verification is too lax and no inforcements of proper gym attire. I've seen people in sandals working out.
I only continue coming here because of convenience.

Nice place lots of options and these gyms are usually very good. Big complaint, don’t know if workers are just lazy because you do usually see them lounging, and the same one or two doing everything else around the place. They don’t have vacuums a mop ? Restrooms stay ok and I do see the same workers cleaning them but the main gym don’t drop nothing on the floor because they do not get cleaned ever neither to the machines . Pick up any of the many weights and you’ll see the dirt caked up on the stand. Look at the machines they never get wiped down. If I put my phone on the floor I pick it up and there is dirt hair rocks stuck to it. If they were to clean this would be an amazing place.

I recently joined City Sports after cancelling my InShape membership due to overcrowding, sanitation issues with the pool and jacuzzi, and the fact they decided to remove amenities (such as the racquetball courts) without notifying all of the paying members. They also had insufficient staff on hand to monitor areas where children were clearly prohibited.

On the other hand, I must say that I am VERY impressed with City Sports. It is a relatively new facility, spotlessly clean, no overcrowding, I saw zero children. The staff are also professional in every respect and attentive to the needs of each individual member. There's no 'herd mentality' here.

Although this facility does not offer racquetball courts, the exercise equipment is state-of-the-art, each piece of cardio equipment has it's own tv monitor, the men's and women's saunas are separate from each other, and the swimming pool and jacuzzi are spotlessly clean.

Price wise, for the three people in our household who are on the membership, the cost is under $100 per month at around $33 per person. We were paying approximately $25 each at the other gym. Not much difference in price between the two gyms really. Be aware that first and last month membership is due upon signing up at City Sports so be prepared to fork over a chunk of change initially. Also, just like at the other gym, once each year there is an annual maintenance fee of $49.

It was nice on Saturday, 2/08/2020 at around 12 noon, my friend and I had the entire pool and jacuzzi to ourselves!

Now I just need to schedule some time with the personal trainer and attend some of the exercise classes offered.

Love this gym. Super spacious, never crowded even if it’s “busy”, and the equipment is brand new and not stolen yet unlike other gyms. The staff is friendly and I pay a low rate.

The only negative is their hours. 5am pretty late for a gym to open and 8pm on weekends is so early for it to close. I close every weekend so if I can’t get to the gym before work then I won’t be able to go.

Dropping my rating a star for the hours. As mentioned above, I’m not happy with them but I just realized they open at 8am... That’s ridiculously late for a gym to open and it doesn’t look like they’ll ever budge on the hours.

I would give no stars if that were an option. Gym was great, until we tried to cancel. DO NOT SIGN UP HERE. It was by far the biggest run around we have ever experienced. Was told only could cancel by coming in and speaking with membership person, BUT the membership person had to call me back first. After multiple calls, nothing, just put on hold and then hung up on. Showed up to cancel at 8:45 am, missing work of course and the person was not there and NO ONE, not even the GM could cancel our membership. I made a big stink and lo and behold, there is a way to cancel by email and by mail and the GM printed all the documents for me.

I have had better experiences with someone trying to sell me stuff over the phone. Customer service was less than zero. GM is a joke, do not, I repeat, DO NOT give them your money. You will realize the gym is overpriced for what you get and when you are ready to cancel, you will want to pull your hair out.

The gym itself is beautiful, the equipments are excellent, however they have only one CAP Barbell Deluxe Curl Bar Cable Attachment with Rubber Handgrips28” for the entire gym, also CAP Barbell Deluxe Straight Bar Cable Attachment with Rubber Handgrips, 20", they have only one of each for the entire gym, these are the most common cable attachments that everyone uses every day, good luck if you want to use one of these attachments with the amount of people that are coming there and they only cost $30 for the pair, most of their cable machines either missing or have broken accessories, their paper towel holders are most of the time empty with no paper 😳😂

There's a guy here that jacks off in the shower while staring at you. White/hispanic guy, brown hair, fat, 5'8' or so. He waits in the locker room shirtless while staring at his phone until someone goes into the showers, then he follows them in. Watch out for him and report him if you see him, he has not been banned or arrested yet.

Great gym. Not too crowded. Plenty of equipment. Little quirks like you never know if the spa temp is going to be right. Music from group classes blaring through the whole place because they don't always close the door.

Revised August 6, 2018 - this place is going down the drain just like a lot of clubs. The place lacks consistency when it comes to cleaning. I just wrote to the management and sent photos. Hopefully, they'll make some changes.

Barely acceptable. The staff is a mixed bag, but mostly good kids. The equipment is nice enough, although there is no bounce mat and no rubber plates. During normal hours the place is full of the dregs of society: meatheads, juicers, pickup artists, bone thugs and high school kids. The meatheads and juicers are no big deal, they're just hanging out, but the kids and thugs are annoying, as they tend to take over equipment and not rotate off of it. Sometimes the spa gets weird as high school kids get into it and make out during the middle of the day in public.
Every night of the week there are a huge number of lowlife thugs playing basketball and smoking weed out in the parking lot as if the gym was in the middle of Compton or something. It doesn't surprise me that people get their cars broken into.

Equipment is kool but the cleanliness needs to be addressed by upper management to the janitor. A bit nasty to me. Especially near the jacuzzi and ladys locker room floor areas!

Front desk staff is unprofessional and pushy to join up "because its the last day and rates will go up tomorrow" what a joke! Do no put your number down if your unsure about joining. They will blow your phone up every single day and repeat same thing over and over. Gym is okay could be better. Their schedule sucks big time because they close early on weekends... 8pm... come on a lot of us people work weekends and 8pm just doesnt work out for many. This gym would be great if they closed mid night or keep it open 24 hrs a day but that time has to change from 8pm people wake up!!!!! Also lately ive noticed they dont run the AC on hot days... you wall in and its cooler outside than inside... not a way to work out its really humid inside on a hot day... ... this place seems to be going down hill they used to leave it on when they first opened to impress people to join... but now they dont run AC! And another thing they dont wipe down the machines.... everything is full of body fluids from the previous person that used it. They shoukd consider having someone wiping down machines As long as they are open... all the people are super young and have no idea of hygiene.

Very clean gym. My boyfriend is frequent. I personally love the zumba and yoga classes as well as the sauna. I wish it was open for more hours, but at the same time, the hours closed, I am told, is for sanitization. That is the main reason why I rate it so highly. I wouldn't sacrifice cleanliness for more time. Health is a big concern for gyms, so I'm glad they prioritize that.

Love the gym.....atmosphere is great ..... very spacious... not crowded.. but the Bathrooms need to be cleaned often and machines need to be wiped down and please keep paper towels on the roll!!!
