Cecille's classes are extreme. I really get a good workout every time. What I love about Cecille is that she remembers our names and I don't feel like just a number, it's very personable.

I’ve been at this location since they’ve opened and Eugene has been a standout instructor. His classes are always challenging (you’ll be sweating!) and he constantly changes things up - it’s always great to try new things to continue advancing and improving. I’ve taken some classes at other places and barely break a sweat or the instructor cues are choppy. His cues are on point and he does a great job pointing out adjustments to make. Love the classes here!

Cecille is hardcore and in the best ways! She pushes me and often has great adjustments for me. I love going to her classes and I always come out feeling super strong. Her energy is upbeat and she often manages to make us laugh even when our glutes are on fire! I’d highly recommend taking her classes.
Eugene is attentive and structured. I like I can anticipate some of the exercises but he always throws in something new to challenge us.

I’m updating my review after a few more months. While I really like a couple of the instructors. there are a few I have not enjoyed at all and where the class has felt like a waste of time. I had a pretty routine schedule going, but then they moved instructors all around. I changed my schedule to follow the instructors I liked and then they changed it again. Or I’ve booked a class with one instructor and it changed after I booked it so I’ve walked into a class not realizing it had changed to an instructor I didn’t like. I’ve also had a lot of my classes cancelled 24 hours in advance, making it hard to get into a different class at the last minute. It is overall a great workout with the right instructor and is great if you are flexible enough to change your schedule around or just don’t care who your instructor is.

Cecille is an amazing instructor for any beginner or advanced Pilates student, she challenges you. She creates a no judgement atmosphere in the class and are motivated to improve on yourself rather than compare yourself to others which is rare for class environments. I encourage anyone to at least take 1 of her classes as she embodies a real Pilates philosophy in teaching.

I enjoy my Pilates sessions with Cecile. I have not worked out a day in my life, and Pilates is something that I find sustainable in a long run for my body. I have passport access, been with a lot of instructors and she is one of my favorites. Her routine is, for the lack of better description, like a small beast. Small core movements, but you’ll be sore the next day. I also like that she gives you cues and would guide you to proper techniques/positions.

I wanted to like this studio. I read all the reviews on here and yelp but I still questioned how bad 8 classes a month can be. I dropped in to ask about the studio as it was conveniently next to target and so close to home! Membership pricing were roughly $10 cheaper to others but they have $150 enrollment fee added to your first month. A few days later I received a promo text to sign up 10% off my first month and a waived enrollment fee. The trade off was to commit to three months. I signed up on oct 24th for 8 classes package. Signed up for Tuesday and Thursday 9am classes. On oct 30th at 7pm i received a notification that my nov 1st thursday morning class has been canceled due to instructor out sick. On nov 6th at 9am i received another notification that my nov 7th thursday morning class has been canceled again. So now i have 6 classes left to take before they expire in the remaining 2 weeks.
Today is nov 8th. I saw an opening for 1:30pm class so i immediately grab it. At 7am i saw another spot opened up for 8:30am class. I called the studio right away to ask if i could trade my 1:30pm to 8:30am class so people in the waitlist could grab the class in the later day. I didn’t want to take the spot since i wasn’t sure i would be able to cancel my 1:30pm class. Called the studio since 7:45am till 8:10am but nobody answered the call. I walked in to the studio at 8:15am to ask if i could switch classes as there is still one spot open. The receptionist told me they have STRICT studio policy and no changes can happen 12 hours before class. She then insisted she can help me sign up for 8:30am class but i would lost a class if i didn’t show up for my 1:30pm because of their 12 hours policy. I showed up to a class that still has a spot open 15 mins before the class starts but I would be forfeiting my later class if I didnt show. Please do understand 1:30pm is a more popular time with people still on the waitlist! Absolutely horrible customer service. They rather have an empty spot in class rather than to bend their strict policy.
I like the classes. The instructors are great. But i have also never had a bad instructor at any other studios. This sucker signed up for 3 months with 30 days written notice to cancel so best believe I will be going to my 1:30pm class later today and the remaining classes i have left. I have also emailed my written notice to not renew my membership so I could be free from them after January. Pleaseeeeeee dont make my mistake. I am stuck until January but you can choose to not make the same mistake. There are ALOT of great studios in the bay area and this one is just not worth it.

Ridiculous experience! I didn't bring my credit card because I know there’s no locker for it, and this club didn't accept Apple Pay and cash! So my class has to be cancelled! Even though I arrived 30 minutes early! Why you only accept credit card because you want to change monthly payments easily? Very disappointed!

I love going to club Pilates. I’m a really busy person and I can commit to 50 mins a day so it’s the perfect fit for me. I really enjoy taking classes with Alyssa, Cecille, and Eugene. They really push me and challenge me consistently. Alyssa is very clear with the way she gives instruction and builds on everything we do and also answers any questions I have and has great playlist! Cecille really knows me well as far as how to push me even if I take a 1 class instead of 1.5, she will make sure I’m personally getting the challenge I need and keeps it fun with her personality! Eugene, I wish I could take his classes more often because he always takes it up a notch and surprises me with how much I can do and very nice. They all are so positive and I look forward to taking their classes every week. Lauren in the front is also a joy to see and talk to and helps me out with anything I need

Getting into classes is impossible here! It's not fair that for the money we pay we have no options! I froze my account hoping that in 3 months time things would change after the opening- but now it time to unfreeze., and nothing has changed., It's still difficult to get classes that fit with my life.. Everything is a waitlist unless it's 6 am or 7 am. Extremely frustrating and completely unfair ---- I'll be discussing with management along with the rest of you.

I've had a frustrating experience with this Pilates studio. While the workouts themselves are good, the management and scheduling system leaves much to be desired. Once you register, it's INCREDIBLY difficult to sign up for classes due to limited availability. Expect to be either waitlisted or unable to get into classes at all. A few of my friends who signed up for this studio face the same issues.
It feels like they prioritize signing up as many people as possible over providing a good customer experience. This flawed system means you're unlikely to get your money's worth since you won't be able to attend classes that fit your schedule.
Customer service is another big issue. It's almost as if once they have your money, they stop caring. If you try to address these problems, they often ignore your requests and remind you about the cancellation fees. It's disappointing to see a studio focus more on volume than on the experience of their customers. I strongly do NOT recommend this place until they make serious improvements in their management and customer service. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

I had the same experience as many of you with their lack of responsibility and mutual respect, policies are meant to be helpful and not a thing to damage a relationship between the parties. It's extremely hard to book a class, and if you join the wait list always is over booked 10+. I got an email for a class that I didn't even book bc I got synchronized my Google calendar, I was so surprised then immediately call the studio and the manager (Lauren) was so rude, I screenshot as a proof that I didn't book that class, later on I continue to receive classes notifications what I didn't book, I sent her (Lauren the manager) the screenshot that their system has a glitch or something bc I kept getting notifications of classes. She didn't even recognize that could be a possibility, but she turned to be as rude and dismissed the whole situation, not a manager skills, huh! I was so happy to join their club but their management need proper training. And yes, they charged me $15 for a class that I didn't even book. They wanted me to pay and charge for whole month without even get a chance to book a single class bc they are all booked. So will never be back with them and I'll save my time and money to go another studio. Staff is friendly. The studio is clean. I liked the classes. But they need a plan on how to make things better.

This establishment has scammed me blatantly. I inquired about a membership here of which someone called me over the phone to sign up. I was never told the agreement and was only sent an agreement after payment. Turns out, they weren’t even open or offering any classes at the time of me signing up, but I was charged anyway for a 3 month membership. When I called to get a refund, no one answered or responded to my calls for days as the establishment was not open for business. Now, I’ve been getting charged $129 a month for a service I’ve quite literally never used and attempted to cancel a few days after signing up. When I did finally get someone on the phone, I was told I need to give 30 days notice in writing to cancel membership and any payment due within that 30 days will still be processed. This place is predatory, do not get a membership here as they will take advantage of you. I will be reporting them to the BBB so more people are aware of this of how this establishment chooses to do business, and yes this is a choice to be shady and deceitful to customers. I’m also going to get my money refunded as they are legally required to do within 5 days of signing the agreement. You not answering my calls or voicemails does not mean you can continue to scam customers and take their money.

I really enjoy classes at Club Pilates here! Yes it’s hard to book classes but this is the same with any other Pilates studios… because there are only certain number of reformer machines. Plan ahead and book early. When I finish a class, I book my next one in the app so I always have a class lined up.
The front desk ladies are friendly and the teachers are great. Overall,
10/10 experience for me.

For the love of god do not get a membership here, especially if you have to give a three-month commitment. It is a waste of money and is designed so that they not only get your monthly subscription $, but they also get to collect a bunch from you in late cancellation fees. Classes are completely booked weeks in advance, so I have been waitlisted for every class I've signed up for. I got the unlimited membership and could not get into any classes for the first two weeks, and could only get into 3 classes for the second two weeks, so I paid $207 for 3 classes which is roughly $70/class. In two months, I have paid $414 in membership fees (not including late cancellation fees) and have only been able to attend five classes.
There is a 12-hour cancellation policy and they charge $15 for late cancellation and $20 for no-shows. So since you have to commit to a class 3-4 weeks in advance, it's very easy to incur the late fee if things in your schedule change. Recently, I was on the waitlist for a class I didn't expect to get in (I was #8 on the waitlist and there are only 12 spots in each class). However, I made it off the waitlist within 12 hours of the class and immediately tried to cancel, but it wanted to charge me the $15 late fee. I called the studio and explained the situation and that I was sick so I couldn't make it, but they just told me I should have removed myself from the waitlist before the 12-hour cancellation window. They have zero flexibility or understanding. So you could literally make it off the waitlist within minutes of the class starting and if you don't have time to make it there, you'll be charged a fee.
I called and emailed the studio to explain my frustrations and was told that the policy is what it is and that cancellation fees are automatic and the studio is unable to waive it for any reason. The studio happily accepted my cancellation notice without any attempt to resolve my issues, but of course they let me know that I would still be charged $207 for the third month that I committed to when I signed up ;-). I am currently waitlisted for 14 classes and enrolled in 1 class for the third month (you can book up to 15 classes at a time), so it will be interesting to see how much of my $207 is wasted in the last month of my membership.
In all, it seems like this is really just a cash-grab with zero consideration of customer satisfaction or retention. They oversell on memberships to lock people in for three months without any concern that there aren't enough available classes to make the membership worthwhile.
As far as the actual studio is concerned: the studio is clean and I appreciate that the instructors give everyone wipes to wipe down the equipment after every class. I also like that there are some amenities in the tiny bathroom. I once forgot a hair tie, but was relieved to find a small jar of them in the bathroom. There are no locker rooms or changing rooms. It is literally just a single bathroom with a sink and toilet that you have to wait in line for, so I found it easier to change in my office after work before going to the studio. There are open-shelved cubbies near the front desk where you can put your personal items.
I am really disappointed that this studio did not work out for me. I was so excited when I saw that it was coming to Serramonte Center because it is walking distance from my house and I can go shopping in the mall after class. I understand the cancellation policy is necessary to prevent people from signing up for classes they don't intend to attend, but some flexibility for certain situations would go a long way toward customer satisfaction and retention, especially considering it is impossible to get into classes. If the studio had just waived the cancellation fees I specifically called about (I have paid much more in fees that I did not complain about), I would have been willing to stick it out until all the other members cancelled after their three months terminated, in hopes that classes won't get so full so fast. Alas, we will never know.

DO NOT JOIN THIS LOCATION! Getting into a class is virtually impossible as the classes and instructors are limited (ie they only offer classes until 2pm on weekends). The waitlist is often double digits everyday, so you have to book out a class weeks in advance. The crazy part is they still expect you to pay even when you can't get into classes! I tried to cancel and they told me there was a 30 day cancellation notice. So basically you have to pay an additional month and still not have the ability to book classes. Maybe this place will be better in the future as it is a nice facility, but it definitely needs better management.
