I took a free intro class with Chandler today. I haven't done Pilates before, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. Chandler was so kind, helpful and attentive! She really helped me to feel comfortable and gave me great tips throughout the class. I really enjoyed this experience and am now considering signing up for a membership. I'm going to take a full class next week and then see what plan works best for me. I'm really grateful to have had Chandler as my intro instructor and excited to continue taking Pilates and building some strength/muscle and toning up!

Due to a serious injury, I’ve been away from Club Pilates for almost 5 months. My “full recovery” will take up to 18 months, but my 57 year old body BADLY NEEDED some sort of movement. I was confident that I could go to Haley’s class, and get my body moving again—a solid workout that would challenge me without hurting me. Mission accomplished! Haley’s consistent teaching style, calm demeanor, and intentional focus on micro movements awakened my muscles, and I left class feeling soooooo much better than when I walked in the door.

I am appalled. I have practiced high-level yoga for more than 15 years in addition to over a decade of HIIT training. I returned to Pilates today for the first time after surgery last year hoping to get back into a good Pilates routine. My daughter came home from college to join me. She also works out five days a week at a high intensity gym and is extremely strong. The instructor publicly humiliated us asking us to leave the class because we did not have the right form claiming that it was due to safety reasons which is absolute craziness. There is a good chance I will never return to this studio again. At the basis of ALL teaching should be something that people should never forget KINDNESS.

So Nathalie is an extraordinary Pilates instructor. She gets up early in the morning for us early birds. Lauren's Tuesday morning Level 1 flow has been a great experience for me in learning how to listen to my body and incorporate the pilates principles to elicit leg and core strengthening outcomes as I recover from surgery. Lauren's instruction as well as the attention she gives her students are well considered so that her classes offer not only the HOW of the movements but also the WHAT they are working to achieve. Personally, I admire her specific cue-ing for individuals during the class as it keeps us all "in the moment/in the movements" and shows her commitment to the mind and body synergy necessary to the focus of each of her classes. I am a current member and new to Pilates. I decided to terminate my membership. It’s unfortunate their classes are usually waitlisted, and apparently they recently changed ownership so a lot of their original instructors who were well liked, are not there anymore or only sub now. I also don’t find their higher level classes very challenging.
I signed up for eight classes a month, and sadly only about four of them are classes that I really like to take, the other four I’m forced to take so I don’t waste my money, but they are the leftover classes and the only ones I can get into.
Pilates is expensive. To not be able to choose my classes is unacceptable.

New manager is definitely not an asset to south HB. I’ve cancelled my membership and my daughters unfortunately as we’ve been members since it’s opening. Going back to seafit Pilates as owner works with you when you have to cancel before 30 days . I was only canceling my daughters as she away accepted to PA school early. And make friends aware of strict policy so as to not join! Referred a lot of people but will now go on yelp and Facebook to make people aware and send them to seafit! Thanks club Pilates for taking such care of a valued member!

This is the worst studio I have ever been to and ever gone to!! This place is the biggest scam I have ever come across, avoid this place at all costs !!!!!!! They will have you sign up indicating this and that and making it seem as if this place is so glorious but it’s far from that ! They will withhold key information pertaining to your membership and then pop up with all these surprise fees. One staff member will tell you something and another will tell you something else . They are incredibly disorganized and fraudulent on levels ! Do not let their reps fool you into coming here and their staff is not friendly at all. Certain instructors are very rude although you’re paying almost 300 dollars !!! Such a scam !!!!

Out of all the workouts I do, club Pilates and this location is my favorite. The instructors are AMAZING, the manager is so helpful and the staff is super friendly. Would 10/10 recommend Pilates and this studio in particular. The members at this location are so nice and friendly too.

Let me explain how this will go down. You'll sign up, pay a ton of money every month but not be able to get into classes because you have to either book way in advance or sign up for a waiting list. Then you'll either not get into the class or get a notice in the middle of the night that you made it onto the 630am class. You'll miss the class and lose your credit because you got the notice while sleeping. You need a 30 day notice to cancel and if you're 2 days beyond the month they force you to pay for the next month even if you ask multiple times for a break. They will offer to extend your credits but that's pointless bc you can't get into the classes anyway. 100 plus a month gone for literally nothing.

You can never get into any classes you want. I paid for a full membership thinking unlimited classes meant unlimited classes. But, unlimited classes means unlimited classes you can possibly get into. I’ve made 3 in two months. If you can book classes two weeks out…it might work for you. Either way, don’t plan on weekend workouts.

Club Pilates is conveniently located next to Thai Fix Restaurant, UPS store, and Vons on Adams and Magnolia. I used to go to YMCA and do my own workouts but didn't see results (50 min/day x 4 days/week). With Pilates, I only do once a week and started seeing results within 3 months. The exercises are easy (I never sweat) but it doesn't mean that I didn't workout either. I like how the instructor will watch you and correct your form.. she's not doing the workout herself. She's literally walking around and watching the class.

I stumbled across this pilates studio after grocery shopping one day (they share the same parking lot). As soon as I entered the front door I was greeted with a smile asking how was doing. I told the girl that greeted me that I was just curious about the place and just wanted to check it out. She was so nice and helpful telling me all about place. I looked around and noticed that the place looked so nice and inviting and VERY clean. I ended up staying and talking for over 1 hour and decided to give it a try. I was booked on a free class so that I could try out this form of training as I have never done it before. A week later I had my intro class and I have been hooked ever since (Sep 2021. The instructors are amazing and so are the people that comes here to train. I have since then got a few other of my friend hooked and they love it as well. Not only have I started to loose weight but I am feeling so much stronger and my posture is better, much needed as I have rupture disc. I love that the instructors gives us modifications so that if there is people with injuries and strength abilities there is options. I would highly recommend this place and hope that you come and join us it is so much FUN!!!

Basking in my retired life requires great mental health and exercise. Club Pilates in South Huntington Beach does exactly that. Working with reformers is non-stressful as you are guided by experienced instructors explaining the area that is needed to be developed. I like it because the manager and instructors get to know you and remembers your existing injuries. I love working out three times a week at South Huntington Beach Pilates because everyone is friendly and there are several classes to challenge you. I love everyone who works and works out here. Finding Pilates was a life changer for me. I have fibromyalgia and not only did I finally find people understand my condition I found instructors who are empathetic and who have worked with others with fibromyalgia and similar issues. When I started Pilates I couldn’t even walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes without having a fibro fall the next three days. I had tried numerous other exercises with the same results and was getting disheartened. No I can handle a one hour class twice a week and I’ve only been going for two months.
If you have any medical issues and are having trouble finding a way to exercise I really suggest Pilates. The instructors are great at modifying everything to anyones ability. And if you don’t have any issues they have a wide range of different options and difficulty levels.

I started taking Pilates in May 2021, for the first time ever, and I love it!! Great exercise, fun classes with different teachers who always make it challenging, and motivate us to improve. I wanted to increase my strength for lifting my grandchildren, we now have seven, and they are getting very heavy! There are classes for everyone with a variety of workouts, age doesn't matter, you can find a class that you will enjoy! Nice people, like Chelsea, manage this club, and she is always helpful if you have any questions. I was athletic to begin with, and now my core is stronger and looks better, and my legs have more definition. So, I am a happy and healthy senior citizen who is addicted to Pilates!

I discovered this amazing Club Pilates studio in April 2021 and have been hooked ever since. Literally. I’ve never enjoyed the gym but was looking for something different that would make an impact. Club Pilates was the key. The instructors and staff at this studio are wonderful and you're always greeted with a smile. You never get the same Pilates class twice. The instructors constantly mix it up for the members to get the most out of their time and fitness routine. The small class size is helpful during these pandemic times as well. Club Pilates is the BEST! The girls at the front desk are always so nice, and the instructors are awesome! They definitely are knowledgeable about Pilates and is a GREAT workout. I have been going to this Club Pilates for the past two months. Even though I have secondary progressive MS, I have made significant improvement in both strength and flexibility with my one on one sessions with highly competent instructors Rachel and Angela. When I am unable to do an exercise, they find a substitute. I leave feeling as if I have had a great workout and many laughs as well! The place is immaculate too! And Chelsea makes everyone feel welcome

I have been a member at Club Pilates now for almost 7 months and am so so happy with the experience I’ve had so far! The staff is phenomenal and welcome you with open arms. I love the instructors and the classes they offer! I have the unlimited plan so I can take classes at anytime that my schedule allows. I also have the option of going to multiple locations in order to make it easier for me to find a class during my free times! I’ve been going to this place for several months now after being diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my feet, knees and hips.
I have to say it has improved my condition miraculously! My core strength has improved remarkably! I no longer need surgery!!!
I love the staff; every class I’ve taken has been extremely beneficial and fun!
I totally recommend this place to all ages, sizes and genders!

I started at Club Pilates (South HB) in Dec 2020. It's been the best decision I could have made! I've seen positive changes in my core, flexibility, and muscle tone! I no longer have pain in my shoulder and low back. Pilates has also improved my strength after knee replacement. I've never been one to consistently go to a traditional gym, but I look forward to going to Pilates. The instructors are excellent and the club is super clean and new!! Highly recommend it!

Very welcoming and interactive staff. You are never made to feel like a number, like at a large gym.
Teachers are very well trained and knowledgeable, they explain every movement throughout the class and also offer modifications. Many women use this in addition to physical therapy, getting better overall body strength from Pilates.
The reformer machines are always clean and in good working order. All machines and equipment are cleaned multiple times, after each use throughout the day. I highly recommend this studio.

I absolutely love Club Pilates South Huntington Beach location! Chelsea, Sara and Emily always great you by name and they are very friendly and helpful! The studio is clean and provides social distancing! The instructors are also amazing and know how to provide just the right amount of challenge. I love Bisi, Angela, Catalina and Rachel! I am so glad I found this studio! I have had multiple injuries over the last few years and I finally found a workout that I can actually do! I LOVE Club Pilates, South Huntington Beach! They have a great variety of classes to meet most fitness levels and age diversity. The instructors are very friendly and helpful, making sure that the exercises are done safely. They take special precautions to make sure everything is wiped down between classes, so that the studio feels very clean. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE CLUB PILATES, SOUTH HUNTINGTON BEACH!!! All of the staff are delightful and super helpful, especially to "new to Pilates" uncoordinated, don't know what I'm doing me...always encouraging!
