Annabel is the best instructor I’ve had in over 6 years of Club Pilates classes. She knows so much about our anatomy and which muscles we need to be strengthening and why! The reason she is so great at teaching is she can explain HOW to engage those muscles. When students are not doing the exercises correctly, she can change our position, even the place or equipment we are using (switch to the mat, use the foam roller, use straps or no straps) and then we figure out how to do it correctly. Her cues are excellent and most importantly for me, she knows the modifications I need for my osteoporosis. I use those modifications with all my other instructors. I’m so glad she’s teaching the other teachers! Love her work!
I enjoyed having Shani as a substitute instructor at Club Pilates Pleasanton yesterday. She is encouraging and energetic while constantly helping members to use proper technique—which is so important in a level Flow 1 class. It was a good workout for those who were new as well those who come often. I’ll take her classes again!
In spite of recent staff turnover, Club Pilates Pleasanton has excellent instructors. Hanjing is one of the best! She teaches classic Pilates moves, continually monitoring students, offering methods to actually improve the exercise move, and make adjustments to prevent injury. The classes are called Pilates Reformer Flow and she keeps the pace constant, smoothly flowing from one move to the next, from one location to the next. It increases the intensity of the workout—I’m changing my schedule because I want more classes with Hanjing!!

Christy is a great Pilates teacher. She continually changes up the routines, she demonstrates moves, offers personal guidance and changes or alternative moves when I am unable to complete some exercises. Christy will describe how to make a move more challenging if we want to try to get stronger or advance to another level. She’s always bubbly and funny and we have fun and laugh while we workout. I try to take as many of her classes that I can schedule!
Brittany is a fabulous Pilates instructor. She offers corrections for poor form, demonstrates the moves, and modification for different levels of abilities. Club Pilates Pleasanton is lucky to have her! I sign up for her classes whenever I can.
Club Pilates Pleasanton has another great Pilates instructor! I’ve been taking her classes for a few months and I’m so grateful! Whitney incorporates challenging techniques with traditional mat exercises and always includes stretching moves. I have taken so many Pilates classes in different studios. I booked this 1.0 flow class via ClassPass and didn’t expect it to be a good workout based on people’s reviews. Surprisingly, I loved it! The instructor Dahlia was so caring, detailed and patient to everyone. She walked across the classroom constantly to check on everyone’s form and correct. She is amazing. I would love to come back to try her 1.5 flow classes. Thank you so much!

Samantha is one of the more “zen” Pilates instructors I’ve had because she’s low key and mellow. I love her down to earth, hands on approach. I appreciate being corrected in a soft yet direct manner. I wish she wasn’t moving away from this location but cheers and good luck!

I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism displayed by Maddie at Dublin Club Pilates. When I signed up, she assured me that I would be able to book classes at sister locations as part of a promotional offer. However, for the past three days, I’ve been trying—unsuccessfully—to book a class at Pleasanton studio.
Today, after finally receiving her assistance, I was told that my membership only allows booking at the Dublin location. When I asked her to either escalate the issue to a supervisor or cancel my membership without penalty—given that I was misinformed at the time of enrollment—she refused and insisted that I was locked into a 90-day commitment.
This experience has been frustrating and misleading, and I hope the studio will take accountability and address this situation appropriately.

The studio was clean, nice, small and intimate. The instructor was not as helpful as I thought she would be. The fact that it was an intro class and there were only a few people in the studio I expected her to be more Hands-On. I was totally bummed out because I was expecting the experience to be fun, exciting, and so much more. That is the reason why I had to take one star off. My first Pilates experience was great! The class was a Flow 1 which felt like Hatha Yoga for Pilates. It was slower paced which made it easier to follow. Whitney did her best to make sure everyone’s form was proper and she made her instructions as clear as possible.

Sona’s workouts are thoughtful. She is growing in her role as an instructor. I would like to see her improve her timing between exercises. For example: she is ready to provide next instructions for the new exercise just as we are finishing the last repetition without any small rest for a tired muscle. Also visual demonstration for complex moves is best.

They lie to get people to sign up for their memberships. They told me that I could use my membership at the Tracy Club Pilates studio, but when I got there that was not the case. Also, I took a class with Timberly, and her demeanor seemed like she was forced to be there. Low energy, not very welcoming, doesn’t smile, she just sat at her bench the whole class, and did not even interact with people or help people if they needed to fix their form or what not. Also, they make it hard to cancel your membership. VERY HARD.
Overall, HORRIBLE experience with this location. I will give this ZERO stars if I could.

I have been with Pleasanton Club Pilates for about 2 months now.
Club Pilates was recommended by my friend as a post physical therapy for my back and shoulder. My Orthopedic doctor also asked me to give her feedback on Club Pilates as post physical therapy. Re-injuries would be my first concern.
Ms. Stacy Visconti is the manager at Pleasanton C.P.
She helped me to set up the intro class with Katie. I followed up with 2 private sessions with Katie and decided to sign up.
Stacy is really helpful and good with follow ups. So far I like all ladies at the front desk.
I liked Katie's couching style on detailed instructions.
So far, I have been in Ms. Katie, Ms. Lori, Ms. Candice, Ms. Hsin, Ms. Brooke. Ms. Christy, Ms. Jean's classes.
I must praise their effort to help each one of us with every Pilates movements as if this is a private sessions. They are very helpful answering my questions as well as helping me to modify some parts I couldn't do.

I changed my hair washing schedule to line up with Brittany's class schedule, so you know it's great 💆🏻♀️! Her classes always flow nicely, change session to session with some staple fav moves, and challenge me while also being able to modify them for my skill level.
Both Brittany and Sona's classes are right level of challenging, but "doable" for me, which was something I was nervous about when starting Pilates. Previously, I'd felt like body weight workout classes, especially ab/core work was so out of my skill set that I could not even attempt them. I've been actually able to target this area, as evidenced by sore abs the following day, and progression in my strength for things like bridging.
All the instructors I've been to classes with have been approachable, and knowledgeable when I asked questions for modifications.

Instructor Sarah was focused, kept up a brisk pace, called out adjustments for all students while she taught. She had us doing barre and bosu lunges, we did pigeon poses on the Pilates chair, worked back, abs, shoulder blades. Worked with heavy and light weights. So much variety and focused muscle toning in areas I don’t often experience at club Pilates in north Hollywood. I come up to Pleasanton to take care of my dad and I always make sure I get some classes in at club Pilates. I have been coming to Club Pilates for two months now and after trying out a few different instructors I’m so happy to have found Brittany, she is absolutely amazing!! Absolutely love Brittany! I make sure to sign up for Brittany's classes as often as I can, she's an amazing instructor and one of the reasons I continue to come here. Every class is different, she always finds a way to bring in new exercises and equipment. I love that she comes in excited to teach- she's very attentive to each person and makes sure we've got the right form so we don't get injured. As someone who's had to recover from a surgery- this is so important. Wish she had more classes throughout the week!

For a high energy and uplifting work out, I recommend Christy. If her 2.0 or 1.5 classes are full, then even her 1 reformer class are engaging and challenging. Christy’s cueing is precise, thoughtful and succinct, makes the instructions easy to digest. I can also tell she has a greater knowledge of body sculpting as a whole and she always engages my whole body so I am getting a real full workout every time. Thank you CP and thank you Christy!

Took a 1.0 class with Brittany today at 5pm after being gone for about a month. Brittany is a great pilates teacher because she is very detailed in her instructions and offers assistance if she sees you are not doing the movement correctly. This was a very smooth class with good timing in transitions.

I love, love, love Timberly’s classes! She is patient, personable and professional. Each and every class that I have taken with her is different and challenging! Just when I think I have a routine memorized and down, she adds a new technique or tool. I leave each of her classes feeling like I had a total body workout. While she not only provides great instruction off the reformer, she is quick to model the exercises on the reformer along with the class. Highly, highly recommend Timberly’s class!!!

Christy is my favorite instructor, I always try to get to her classes. She has a great sense of humor and it's a big plus for the instructor. She always answers all my stupid questions about breathing and muscle work in detail:)) But most importantly, she is a real professional: her classes make it possible to consistently warm up all muscle groups from my fingertips to the top of my head. The whole body is involved in the work, and the loads are adequate - I rarely have muscle pain after her classes and this is a good sign. She is a great motivator. After being a member for a few months and building a connection with the instructors, you learn they genuinely want the best for you, and strive to help you reach your personal goals, weather it’s in group classes or private session, they always hear you and give you the modifications that you may need. A few years back I cracked my tailbone at a water park, and had consistent lower back pain and frequent doctor visits and surgery was in consideration. After working with the instructors and letting them know my injuries, I totally forgot about my lower back pain and can finally move around as if nothing happened. I couldn’t have found a better Pilates studio!
