I signed up for my membership on 4/21, and since then, I’ve been trying to schedule classes—but nearly all of them are fully waitlisted for up to two weeks. It’s clear that there are far too many members and not nearly enough space or classes to accommodate demand. The only class consistently available is the introductory one, which feels like a tactic just to lure people in.

When I called to cancel, I was told the manager won’t be available until next Monday and that I would be charged a $100 cancellation fee. So—no available classes, no resolution, and a penalty to cancel? To me, this feels misleading and borderline fraudulent.

I also noticed that when I waitlisted for a class, I was first in line—then mysteriously bumped to second just five minutes later. This suggests the system is being manipulated.

I’ll be going in person tomorrow to cancel and will follow up with an update. Honestly, I wish there were an option to leave zero stars.

Unlike the other reviewer, I am being charged $289 for the unlimited. I have canceled. I do like the studio, I love the instructors and the vibe is amazing, but the unlimited cost isn't worth it, especially after hearing others pay less. Maybe she signed up before me. I would stay with the studio on maybe the 8 class plan because I do work a lot, but it's next to impossible to get into a class when not on the unlimited plan. They keep selling "memberships" but don't have the classes to support the number of people signed up. I have moved to Pilates Co. and have zero issues getting classes. Wish I could have stayed. Three stars only because the cost really is a bit much and the difficulties getting into a class.

So I’ve been to many studios and I really like this one. Crystal at the front was so sweet and informative, and sherry is a tough cookie really good instructor. Lol but a great experience over all. Thank god for crystal she brought a sound system when the music was down and I would’ve been so irritated if I had to work out with no music.

I’ve been a loyal member for years and just had the WORST experience with the instructor from todays class! I had never felt such micro aggression and IMMEDIATELY cancelled my membership. I go to Pilates to release from my everyday stress and not to be judged and made fun of PUBLICLY!!!

Was running late due to little car accident, was within grace period, class had started already, I wanted to warm up, and instructor noticed I wasn't following along and very rudely asked if I was in the same class, I tried to explain myself and she rudely responded with "I'm not late you are late". I canceled my membership and will never return to this place as long they have rude and unprofessional instructors.

I signed up looking forward to a new experience. I do love it here BUT I'm a bit upset that after paying & committing to 3 months, all the classes I'm able to do are full for weeks! Nothing but "wait list's" so why do you make guests commit to 3 months? The entire reason for joining a club is to go at least weekly, not once or twice a month. Disappointing.

At the begggingin, seems like they don't understand my schedule. Then Vanessa comes and help me a lot to set at my schedule and in. While in vacation time! The best decision, I don't regreat. Excellent place to go!

I’m going to give you my experience and explain my rating. First, the teachers and staff are amazing. Everyone is very sweet, provide great instruction and always a pleasure to be around. The machines & equipment are good. This is why I give them 2 stars. Now why negative 3 stars. I would have done 2.5 but that’s not allowed. The other half of me is very disappointed with the policies of this company. I didn’t go for two weeks because I was having pain in my upper left abdomen. I tried to come back and was told it should help the pain. It didn’t it. Because I was paying $229 a month for a membership, and with the recommendation I figured I’d at least try to see if it helped. I had no idea what was wrong at the time and go figure neither did my doctor. A month went by and I was still in lots of pain and decided to cancel so I didn’t waste anymore money. Well they told be I had to give a certain amount of notice And I’d be billed again. No consideration for the fact I’m in pain, I can’t do this, and they charged me again. It bothers me that I paid almost $500 for nothing. That’s a lot of money especially when it was paid and I didn’t get anything for it and this company feels comfortable with that. When I did go regularly it was very hard to get in classes I wanted cause they do have an overload of members, but not enough space and classes to accommodate. This was another issue I encountered here. I highly recommend Pilates but I’m not too sure of club Pilates I feel like there’s not many options so we just have to go there. That is my experience, and I hope others have a better experience. Btw: I found out what the pain was, my spleen. There was no way pikates was going to fix that.

Although I share some concerns with another reviewer about the schedule changes recently and the availability/variety of afternoon classes, I generally feel that my experience at Club Pilates, Mission Grove, has been very rewarding and mostly worth the cost. I recently reached my 500th class and have virtually eliminated my knee/joint pain from a few years ago. Lupe (pictured) is a fantastic instructor. She provides challenging workouts but also is great at checking our positioning and preventing injury. Also, her funny personality and encouragement makes each class super enjoyable. Another great instructor is Michal, but she usually only has morning classes and those of us who work most mornings can't take those classes. A few of the other instructors are not as consistently good at checking positioning or giving verbal cues, and I've had neck, back and knee strain as a result. I hope managers continue to implement changes based on customer feedback. For instance, now there are some Friday afternoon classes, which is great! There have been some policy changes that are good, but occasionally the app can be confusing/misleading, and the cost to cancel a class ($10) within 12 hours is annoying. I also didn't know until recently that if a person is on a waitlist, gets automatically placed in the class last-minute, and then doesn't make it to the class, they get charged a $15 no-show fee. That policy definitely needs to change; if it is fewer than 12 hours' notice of being moved off the waitlist, a 'no-show' fee should not apply. I say adjust the cancellation window to 8 or 10 hours, because life happens, often people are sick in the morning. The pressure to remember to cancel 12 hours prior has created some stress for me. Fortunately, most of the front desk staff are incredibly helpful when it comes to these issues and can help resolve most of them. However, management should probably be more proactive at evaluating customer satisfaction in relation to the instructors to prevent injuries and strains. I have delayed renewing my unlimited membership to evaluate whether I want to continue or only pay for the 8 classes per month. It's expensive, so I want to make sure the afternoon class variety meets my needs before renewing.

I have been going to classes (I have an unlimited membership) between here and the Redlands studio for about a year. I love the majority of the instructors and their classes but the problem is that the owner is constantly switching the schedules and instructors. Because of this, you will get into a good routine then in a few months things will change and most of the time it is for the worse. It's to the point now where I have gone from taking 5 classes a week to only being able to take 2 a week (3 if I'm lucky) because the availability of classes is hard to get into and/or the variety/quality of instructors in the afternoons has diminished (there is basically ony one afternoon instructor in Riverside and 2 good instructors in Redlands were replaced with 1 not so great instructor in the afternoons in Redlands) there are also no afternoon classes on Fridays at either studio. If you don't work and can take classes in the mornings then you will love the classes but will still have a hard time getting into them. If you work and can only take afternoon classes then your class quality is diminished greatly. I have e-mailed the owner about my concerns (as well as the concerns of other clients) and was given a BS response that I know was untruthful because I speak with a variety of instructors/staff at the 2 studios. At this point I am seriously considering suspending or canceling my membership all together and finding a studio or gym that better fits my needs and challenges me. Hopefully things will change soon and get back to the quality that I know club pilates is capable of and what made me fall in love with them in the beginning.

This place is great! The front desk staff are always friendly hand very helpful. And it’s a very clean, welcoming environment once you enter the studio. I’ve done a couple classes being taught by Amanda and she’s awesome! She’s very helpful with making sure I’m positioned and doing the movements properly to get the most out of every workout. I can feel my strength and endurance getting better each time I come back, and I always leave feeling stronger and more vital than when I came in. As a man, I wasn’t sure Pilates was for me, but if you apply yourself you can get A LOT out of any of the workouts, no matter what level of fitness you’re currently at, and I definitely don’t have any more qualms about Pilates being “just for women” 😂.
