I take one-on-one boxing classes from Sepano and really enjoyed my sessions. Sepano is very attentive and encouraging. He’s very skilled at pointing out the things I could do to improve my forms. Each session is different, so I am always challenged but at the same time reminded of my improvements. It’s quite exciting. I find myself become more confident about boxing after each session.

Coach Sepano has been an absolute pleasure to train with! When I first started, I shared a list of joints that had been problematic for me. He created a thoughtful plan and tailored workouts that built strength without aggravating my existing joint or back issues. I’m amazed at the progress I’ve made—today I’m much stronger and more functional than when I began.
His careful attention to proper form has not only kept me safe but also taught me how to train confidently on my own. He explains his knowledge in a way that’s clear and approachable, even for someone without an exercise background. On top of his expertise, his positive attitude and humility make every session enjoyable.

I’ve been working with Sepano for several years, and it’s been the best decision I’ve made for my mental and physical health. I couldn’t even do a single pull up before I met Sepano! Sepano tailors the workouts to fit my goals, and asks what sort of activities I’d like to focus on. He even offered to add some boxing training to my weekly workout. I wanted a trainer who wasn’t just going to give me a random fitness plan or encourage me to lose weight— I wanted a trainer who supported my goal of building muscle and strength, and who would help me fine tune my movements to make sure I was doing each exercise correctly and safely. Sepano has been awesome and I can’t recommend him enough!

I met Sepano in April of 2024, when I joined Left Coast Fitness, and he became my assigned personal fitness trainer. As a nonathletic senior, I was concerned about going to a gym, let alone working with a personal trainer. My concerns were immediately alleviated as Sepano did his initial assessment. He was so patient and understanding, having to explain how even the most basic exercises are done. The program he designed is specific to my capabilities. I can’t believe how much I have improved with his coaching and encouragement. When I went for my last physical, my PCP commented that she thought I looked different. Some parts, like my gut, were substantially smaller, but she also mentioned that my muscle tone was better than a lot of her much younger patients. She also commented that I had an air of confidence that was not present during my previous visits. I told her about my work with Sepano, and she responded with the comment: “that was the best money I ever spent.” I have noticed that on occasion when I arrive a bit early and Sepano is working with another one of his clients, their program is completely different from mine. Not only are the programs specific to each client, but my exercise plan also gets real time adjustments depending on my performance during a given session. If I am a bit stronger one day, we push a little harder. If I am off, he takes it a bit easy that day. Over the past few months, I developed a medical condition for which a major part of the treatment is physical therapy. Sepano reviewed the PT exercises and modified my plan so that my gym exercises now complement the medical PT. By the way, I forgot to mention that Sepano is not just your ordinary garden variety personal trainer, he has a master’s degree in Sports Psychology and has competed professionally in the Martial Arts. His approach to fitness includes not just the physical aspects, but also sleep, nutrition, and mental characteristics of total health. Last of all, to top it off, Sepano is just a really, really nice person.

I have been doing the self defense cardio kickboxing on Saturday mornings with Coach Sepano for the last 6 months. He is really a great instructor. Good at warming us up to keep us injury free and keeps us moving for a great cardio workout but most important he has taught me great self defense moves to give me confidence that being in a uncomfortable situation I don’t have to be a victim. He is also a fantastic caring and gentle soul.

Coach Sepano is an expert with the body. He knows what you need to eat and how to move. Technique above all is key with this trainer.

Because of his help with my diet and exercise, I can look at my plate, knowing how my body will look with the portions I lay out, and I can move with all exercises without any injury. Now my body is thick with muscle and I move with ease with my martial arts practice.
