We love this gym, not because it has the best equipment, lighting or how new things are. ( they are fine and never crowded)

WE love it because it has AWESOME classes and lots of them, all included in your membership. I really love the Zumba classes with Evelynn ( she rocks) and the floor pilates. Plus in the classes there are many energied, fun fellow classmates who are add much to the energy and inspiration to workout.

In Sebastopol, Graton and Forestville, this is a great choice that has transformed my health, life and social connections.

PS in 2024, I lost 40lbs and lowered my BMI from 30+ to 28. In 2025 I know I can continue the trend.

Coaches Corner has some good equipment at the facility. The biggest downside is this gym feels a bit old, worn, and my biggest complaint: it's kind of dark in there. Most modern contemporary gyms in California these days (i.e. Anytime Fitness or Crunch Fitness) have bright, energizing lighting. Especially in Winter months, I don't want to work out in a dimly lit space. But for people that live nearby or are looking for a particular thing (spinning) this could be acceptable. Any gym is better than no gym!

Significant mold underneath the wooden seats in the coed sauna. Bad enough that there's a noticeable head-change and effects on lungs/breathing after using it a couple days in a row. When brought to the attention of the owner there was just an acknowledgment that they replace the wooden seats every few years and it always gets moldy again. I understand the challenge as an owner but it's unacceptable to allow people to unknowingly be exposed to something that causes such gnarly health issues.
I encourage you to do better.

Just a gym with a sauna and hot tub. Gets the job done...no frills. Wish the showers had stalls...naked older guys trying to have conversations while showering is not my thing, but to each their own.

It has the basics. The stretching area feels like a jail cell and everyone is on top of each other. The hot tub fits like 2 people maximum. If you give them your contact information they will blow up your phone to the point it feels like harassment.

As a personal trainer myself, this place is a hard pass.

I was a member for close to 25 years.
Great spirit of collegiality pervades the place. Conversations ensue and I had some wonderful times connecting with other people there!
I never saw people at CC trippin over their egos or making people feel uncomfortable..
All in all, a wonderful place for body, mind, and soul!

The gym is very tiny, the equipment is okay. The membership pricing is too expensive for the quality of the gym.

You can get more amenities and equipment at 24 or anytime for the same price or actually cheaper.

In January 2020 I was leaving town abruptly due to a death in my family. I went to cancel my membership and left the country for some months. Upon returning, I had noticed I was still being billed by Coaches Corner which drained my account causing me to incur overdraft fees. I called several times to get this resolved and was not replied to until I emailed them. Upon reaching out, I was told there was no way this mistake happened and that I should refer to the contract. Their overall tone of the email was extremely accusatory and I would not recommend this gym to anyone anymore. In times of Covid, we are all struggling, but this level of unprofessionalism and lack of decency is unacceptable and won't go unnoticed. They have yet to provide me a refund.

I just joined for $120 under a 3-month special. The place is renovated and the equipment is nice. It’s spacious enough to work out and people are pretty mellow. I think it’s the best deal in Sebastopol for a gym with all the machines you could need.

I've gone back and forth to this place for years with my son. It has completely redone itself, new fitness rooms, brand new equipment. When I found out what they had done I cancel my 24 Hour Fitness membership and I'm back at Coaches Corner. Fun and friendly, not a bunch of tattooed Meatheads, very family-friendly, great for people of all ages and body types.

Awesome people! Ive had alot of bad experiences in my past with gyms not being understanding of me if I was unable to make it in and then was taken advantage of all my money. The owner of this Gym had no problem understanding that some things have occured which kept me from going back after I had paid a year in advanced for both myself and my partner, we finnaly got back and reactivated a full year thanks to this man and his team being so cool. Id like to also add that this place is the place to go if you wish to work out in a less egotistical gym and get help from non judgmental people who care about you no matter what level your at in life. Cant wait to go back in and exercise all day long!

Pretty small area but everything is set up pretty well. Equipment is all kinda old. You have to "find the sweet spot" when adjusting and tightening seats and leg rests to make them hold. Good selection of machines but only one or two of each as its a small place. More treadmills and ellipticals etc though. Lots of classes to chose from with lots of times. Yoga and pilates to step and zumba to line dancing and more. Honestly love it for the classes more then weights. Pricing is reasonable.
