We had such a wonderful experience at Colleen’s Swim School! Colleen and her coaches are absolutely amazing. Our 6-year-old son, who has a speech delay, started out very timid—but in just a few sessions he went from hesitantly putting his face in the water to swimming independently. Out of the 3 sessions we attended, 2 were noticeably outstanding, and we’re already planning to return every summer as long as we’re in California.

Her pool is heated, has a safety gate around it, and she’s incredibly attentive. You can tell she takes safety seriously and catches things quickly, which gives us so much peace of mind. I also loved being able to sit and watch, and I noticed her working so patiently with a wide range of kids, including those with special needs. She truly meets each child where they’re at.

As a pediatric ICU respiratory therapist, I can’t stress enough how important water safety is—there’s no second chance in the water. Please, parents, prioritize swim lessons for your children. Colleen and her team make it such a positive, safe, and confidence-building experience. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience with our son learning to swim at Colleen’s Swim School. We tried a few places before here (mostly at various city schools) but our kid was not comfortable with the amount of kids learning at once time. Colleen’s Swim School had a small group at one time (about 5 kids average during our time here) and with couple of teachers it made the learning experience a lot more comfortable to learn in. All the employees at the school taught very well and in just a few weeks our kid was able to be comfortable in the water and perform what would be considered a 4 year old swim skill set lol
Highly recommend having your child learn to swim here. Forget going anywhere else, this is the place to learn :)

My 12 year old has always been a good swimmer but has been terrified to dive. It would give him panic attacks just thinking about it. Colleen's Swim School gave him the boost of confidence he needed and he now LOVES to dive. The first time he did it. I was shocked.
My 8 year old went into her swim lessons not knowing how to swim and at the end of the 2 weeks shes very confident and knows how to swim. Highly recommend. Will be back next summer for a refresh!

We have had such an amazing time at Colleen’s swim school! I actually learned to swim with coach colleen over 20 years ago and now I brought my 13 month old to swim classes. The parent and me class has been so fun and I’ve learned a lot of strategies to help my daughter be more confident in the water. It is crazy how much she has learned in just two weeks! We also love the environment and how relaxing it is waiting for class to start. My mom is in a wheelchair and it was so special to me that the area is accessible and she was able to come watch. Coach Colleen and her team of helpers are so patient and knowledgeable. We will be back next year!

I recommend this swim school. My daughter learned so much on her first two weeks of swimming lessons, that I signed her up for another two weeks. Mrs. Colleen and swimming instructors connect very well with the kids and make sure that everyone is comfortable in the water❤️🙏🏼

My son Angelo has always wanted to learn how to swim. We have a swimming pool but didn't take us at home teaching him seriously. Colleen's swim classes helped him so much. Within the first few lessons he was already swimming at home! I couldn't believe how quick he learned and how confident he was. I believe her instructors are well trained and great with kids. I took my kids to Colleen’s for swim lessons probably 23 years ago. Now I am taking my grandson for his swim lessons last summer and this summer. He loves his swim teachers and has really improved. Last summer he didn’t want to put his head in the water, this year he can’t keep his head out of the water.

Colleen's swim School is amazing I saw my son learn how to swim and do techniques within a couple of days and the progress that he's made is amazing This is his second season and he will be coming back a third time. The instructors and Miss Colleen are amazing They have a lot of patience and really work with the kids on making sure they know how the techniques work and how to do them correctly.

Colleen has been teaching children (and probably adults) how to swim, not be afraid of water and be safe for many many years. We took our son and daughter to her about 25 years ago! She was loving and patient with both of our kids who are now young adults. As a kid I did not learn how to swim until I was 16 and I wasn't very good at it. I didn't want that for my children. Put your trust in someone who is an expert. Colleen is the answer!

The best place for your kids to learn how to swim, also it's a beautiful place with a great environment and where us as parents get to enjoy watching our kids. All the kids love learning how to swim with their excellent teachers they have a very tender way and with a lot of patience in expressing themselves and teaching is worth every minute of the 30 minutes every session lasts...
My kids learned how to swim within the first week but they love coming because they love how they can learn more and more every day from their wonderful teachers and they love the place also that's the very reason we have continued to come😀 100% recommended!!!

We LOVE Colleen’s Swim School! Both of my kids started in the “parent and me” class at age 2 and we’ve continued lessons for 4 summers now. The instructors are so wonderful with the kids and teach them useful skills while having fun! Every time our session is over, the kids instantly ask when they get to come back! I highly recommend Colleen’s Swim School because of their fun and calm approach to teaching kiddos how to swim and be comfortable in the water. My 3 year old went from crying and refusing to put his face under, to now happily walking into the pool and going under water. There are multiple teachers in the pool with them which makes for constant teacher/child interaction. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed this process and are thrilled to see our son thrive.

Great swimming school. I have a 3 and a 5 year old and it’s amazing how fast they’re learning. Everyday they’re making progress. I love that the classes are daily as opposed to most other schools where it’s only once a week, I feel like they learn a lot more this way. The classes are small too so there’s more one on one instruction time. The pool is nice and clean, it’s gated and the parents have a nice little area to wait for them. Very reasonably priced as well! Highly recommended.

This is our 2nd year with Colleen and our son is only 2.5. It is never too early to get your child in the water. Our favorite thing about lessons is the piece of mind knowing that safety is priority number one. We love the mommy and daddy and me swim lessons and it is amazing how much growth you will see in just a few lessons! It is so cool how your child cqn be completely against trying something new and the next time be trying it all by themselves!

We have done other swim schools in the past that seem to focus on random techniques. We never seemed to get to the swimming part. We have only been with Colleen one session and already she is learning how to “actually” swim. I only wish we would have done the first session as well.

EXCELLENT! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This is my first summer using Colleen's Swim School for my five year old. It was very easy to sign up and pay for lessons, which are reasonably priced. I really love the set up of her yard. There is a fence separating the pool from a big, shady yard where I can let my two year old run around and play while watching my other son swim. The instructors are also very patient, encouraging, and professional. Colleen also does an accurate assessment of skills day one to make sure placement is appropriate, and she does not hesitate to put a child in a different class so they are with other children at their level. My son's swimming improved after only the first day of classes, and he really enjoys going! I will definitely come back next summer and sign-up my then three year old as well.
