I've been going to Corecraft Pilates, twice a week, for a few months. I had never done Pilates before and found it to be a welcoming experience with small group sessions. Claire is a friendly and experienced instructor.

Corecraft provides a safe and strenous pilates workout. I have been to other studios where there are many reformers and less attention paid to you as you workout.
I highly recommend giving corecraft a try as Corecraft provides individualized training unlike the larger studios.

I've been dealing with back pain for some time now so my wife signed me up for pilates with Clair. I've only been to 4 or 5 sessions and I'm already able to tell the difference. I'm noticing a huge difference in my surfing. Paddling out my shoulders are much stronger and my fatigue level after a long paddle out has significantly decreased. Normally after paddling out I need to rest but now I have been able to paddle out and still have energy to spin and instantly paddle into a wave. I highly recommend Corecraft Pilates.

Pilates is a practice that has helped me become strong and maintain my flexibility over the years. I’m so glad I decided to take the leap and start my Pilates journey. Claire is such a fun instructor and she’s so attentive to what’s going on during the session. I have a history of back pain/injury and she’s spent so much time checking in with me and making sure I can adjust the exercises to fit my needs. I love Corecraft Pilates! Claire, the instructor, is fantastic. She is professional, experienced, and teaches well. I started reformer Pilates about three months ago for the first time in my life at Corecraft Pilates, and I can tell that my strength and body balance have improved. I also appreciate that she keeps class sizes small, with a maximum of four students, allowing her to provide personalized attention to each student by correcting postures and giving detailed instructions. I highly recommend this place!

I have gone to 10 sessions so far at Corecraft Pilates. As of next week, I am going to increase my attendance to twice a week. I like Claire because she is patient, attentive, and knowledgeable. When needed, Claire adjusts your form so that you are doing an exercise in the correct position. She changes up the exercises each session which I like because I think that doing so keeps the class interesting and is beneficial for your muscles. Also, her prices are more reasonable than the last Pilates studio where I used to go.

Ive tried many different Pilates places and this one is by far my favorite. The instructor, Claire, is very kind and knowledgeable. I also love that there’s only 4 people at most in one class for a more individualized experience. I have previously struggled with inflammation when I work out, but Pilates has been great for building muscle and flexibility without triggering my swelling.
Claire crafts challenging workouts, and I have already noticed considerable improvements in my strength and flexibility after one month. She custom-tailors workouts to your goals from a large repertoire of exercises to keep things interesting, so I can really see this playing a long-term role in my exercise routines.

Claire has been a phenomenal instructor. Her classes are 4 people max and she tailors the workout to suit everyone and makes it fun and fresh. She keeps an eye on form and makes sure everyone’s breathing is leading their movement. I am 10 classes in and am already seeing very positive improvement in the function of my body. My desk posture is better, my recovery after runs is faster, and I even have some ab definition starting to peek through! Highly recommend Corecraft Pilates.

I started pilates for scoliosis and back pain, at the recommendation of my doctor. I've never done pilates before. I'm not an athletic or coordinated person, so I was a little nervous. Claire has been very patient while helping me learn the exercises, and they definitely help. My back pain feels better, and I'm able to exert myself more before it starts aching. Claire has also been very accommodating with scheduling issues. Overall, I've been very happy with the experience. For any other pilates newbies, it's not as intimidating as it seems at first, and it does help.

Where do I begin? After numerous years of being inactive and terribly out-of-shape, I decided to enroll in Pilates classes. I actually was clueless as to what pilates entailed. I just knew I didn't want a gym membership, nor did I want high impact aerobics classes.
To say I struggled the first two weeks of classes is an understatement. I was more out of shape than I ever imagined. However, by week three I felt stronger and was more confident in class.
That's not even the best part. The best part is the fact that at the beginning of February (when I started twice weekly classes) I was at 25.5% body fat. Today, I'm down to 23%!!!
Again, this is my first ever time doing pilates but Claire is the best instructor ever!! She focuses on all aspects - not like a typical aerobics class where the instructor isn't truly watching your form and breathing. Claire is on top of it!
If you're wondering if pilates is for you, take one of her classes and you'll be sold on it!

I absolutely LOVE seeing Claire at Corecraft! I look forward to my sessions every week. With very small classes, you get great instruction and attention from Claire. She is wonderful at making sure everyone is comfortable during the exercises and modifies as needed. I started last fall pre-pregnancy, and now that I’m roughly 6-months-pregnant, I still feel like I get a great workout while modifying the movements to my level and needs. I’ll continue throughout my pregnancy and post-partum once I’m able to since I love it so much! I highly recommend!

Taking Claire's virtual pilates classes is a mental/physical boost during the COVID-19 Pandemic. I appreciate the personal attention to my form and the variety of pilates exercises offered in each live class versus taking pre-recorded online classes. Pilates is also one of my favorite ways to take part in a weight-bearing exercise without jarring my joints. I highly recommend taking classes from Claire -- either online or in-person -- she's not only an expert/exceptional pilates instructor but a lovely person as well. I love Clarie's virtual live pilates mat classes. Prior to having total right hip replacement surgery her classes helped strengthen my muscles. My doctor and physical therapist were really impressed how speedy my recovery was after surgery and I attribute it to taking Corecraft Pilates virtual live classes. Claire can see your posture and alignment via Zoom and can correct you just like being in-person.

I’ve tried many forms of exercise over the years and couldn’t find something that I enjoyed or see results until I started Pilates. Claire’s semi-private classes offer personalized instruction in a small group setting. She’s mindful of injuries and always makes sure you’re pushing yourself to the safest degree possible. I’ve noticed a significant difference in my overall health since taking her classes coupled with healthy eating. The real indicator of my core strength was taking a body composition scan and wow! I love Claire's workouts at corecraft! She combines the pilates method with TRX, BOSU Ball, and foam rolling for a full body workout. Claire is very well experienced and educated in the physical activity that these workouts provide. Since there are never more than three people in a class, you receive personalized attention while getting to share the class with other people. She also offers private lessons if that is more your style. I highly recommend corecraft to anyone, as workouts can be tailored to any skill level!

Claire is amazing! I was a little intimidated at first since I've never really done anything like TRX or reformer before. I look forward to spending my weekend mornings with Corecraft San Diego (formerly Mission Valley Pilates). Initially, I had all these misconceptions and assumptions about Pilates because of its low intensity type of workout. But I'm so glad Claire was able to enlighten me more about pilates because this workout may be low intensity but it for sure gives you a good sweat. After my first few months with Claire, I was able to notice difference in my posture and just the way I recover physically. I do weight training 5-6 times a week and with my sessions with Claire I am not only able to develop a strong core to do my compound lifts and maintain proper form, I am also able to optimize my recovery sessions. Claire is such a wonderful teacher and the small class size is so amazing because it allows you to feed off Claire's wealth of knowledge. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE (BEGINNER-ADVANCE) TO START TAKING CLASSES WITH CLAIRE!
