Amy was incredibly helpful and supportive during the class. Before we started, she took the time to teach me about the reformer and the essential techniques. Coreology is the best pilates experience I've had after trying multiple studios. They are high energy, focused on proper form and really connect with their clients! There's always a great variety of overall body, huge core focus (my fav of course) and options for all levels to challenge you however you need and want. I've been a member for 2 1/2 years and still it's the best part of my every day! I walk out feeling like my abs got rocked and feeling so strong every single time. My body has literally changed shape from pilates and I never thought I'd look this way, but here I am, 42yrs old, have abs for the first time, and looking better than I ever have! I recommend it to anyone, new or experienced!

I absolutely love coming to class, especially with Emily! She's incredibly detailed when it comes to form and placement, which helps me feel confident in each movement. I feel stronger and that's the goal right? (along with summer bod goals!) ◡̈ Her teaching style keeps the class in line, everyone knows exactly what they're doing and what move comes next, it also pushes me to keep going right when i want to give up. Her music choice definitely helps as well. I genuinely look forward to class. My only wish is that she taught more days!

I visited California and was so happy at Coreology! Is was Super good! I had the Xformer class with Katelyn. Katelyn was an amazing instructor! She was supper helpful and corrected me if I needed (before you have a class you get a questionnaire and one of the questions is if you want the instructor to correct you and I think that question by itself shows the level of professionalism at this Pilates place :-) I wish I could spend more time in California to do it again!!

Challenging workout. I’ve only been to two classes, same instructor, only the xformer class. It is 50 mins, 75% legs, 25% abs and obliques, no dedicated upper body. I’m not particularly strong, but I’ve consistently done other reformer workouts for years, personally, I think the leg series at coreology is a bit too long, There are 5 moves on a single leg, non-stop, with back to back holds, pulse, up downs, multiple rounds. It may just be me, but I had to recruit all muscles and joints to help. My hips are screaming.
I do like the fast paced moves mixed in there, it spikes the heart rate.
Either way, I felt challenged at a super tough workout.

Great experience from signing up, checking in, & actually attending the class. Locating the place was a bit tricky, plenty of parking in parking structure. The front desk area is very clean, modern. iPad check in is prettier neat. I was greeted by my instructor (Lucy), immediately after she gave me the run down in the machine. Machines were previously wiped down BUT they have cleaning wipes available if you want to sanitize some more. The lighting is perfect, dark enough so it's not hot, bright enough for you to be able to sleep. Lucy was Great. She got me pumped! She got the class pumped! I felt empowered! She worked the room very well, helping everyone one, cheering us on by name! It was hands on help to improve posture/stance & also she would demonstrate it herself. I don't work out, & I am not in shape at all.. This was probably the hardest work out my body has had... YOU WILL SWEAT, & if you're like me THE NEXT DAY YOU WILL ACHE in places you didn't know aching was possible I am impressed I stuck it out, and also mad I did because I am paying for it! I will definitely be back! (I did the new person 3 class deal) also you will need grip socks (you can buy your own OR purchase them from there) & they do provide towels (BECAUSE YOU WILL SWEAT)

Coreology is one of my favorite fitness studios in the South Bay and their new studio at the Manhattan Beach Village is beautiful! The workouts are intense and I always leave breaking a sweat. The SPX method is my favorite because you lengthen and lean out your muscles without bulking up. Make sure to book your class in advance because they fill up fast!

Horrible experience. I signed up for my first class, they made me buy a class during the sign up process. No where was I told that I would be waitlist nor did I get an email about being waitlisted. When I show to to class I am unable to take the class because I’m apparently on the waitlist yet they charged me for the class. Horrible experience being asked to leave 5 minutes into class because someone showed up. I requested a refund and will not be going back.

I absolutely love coming to Coreology! I was previously a member of forum+La and never thought I’d be able to get used to the change in ownership. I was totally wrong. While the vibe is definitely different than the old forum+La, it doesn’t make a difference in the workout or experience. Sarah has done an incredible job at creating her own brand and workout in Manhattan Beach. Coreology has your traditional Pilates plus style classes, as well as killer treadmill+Pilates mixed classes at the Manhattan Beach studio. I’m always sore after class regardless of how often I go! I have a particular love for Meg’s class because she’s helping me rehab a serious back injury. She’s highly attentive to form and modifications of everyone’s injuries. She’s fantastic at multitasking and she has been a vital part of my recovery. With that being said, every instructor at Coreology goes through a very intense training process and is not put out onto the floor to teach publicly until Sarah and Meg can guarantee members will have a safe, body-changing experience. Jaime and Genevieve are also amazing - but my schedule doesn’t allow me to make it to their classes. Totally worth it to try every instructor at Coreology and see who you vibe best with!

I have been coming to Formula Pilates for about 6 months now and I am addicted! I started out with a 2 day a week membership and had to sign up for unlimited because it is the BEST part of my day. I have taken classical Pilates at other studios in the past, and didn't really fall in love with it. But the workouts at Formula really make you sweat! The music is upbeat, and the instructors are high-energy! Since the classes are fairly small, the instructors are able to give you one-on-one attention to correct your posture and/or adjust your springs if you need it. If you really want to sweat, take Estefania's jump board class- what a workout! I also love Shannon's Tuesday night class, her music is awesome and routines work your whole body! I have never been so sore. If you need help with your form, take Jamie's class. She is really attentive and makes sure you are doing everything correctly. I could go on and on because, all of the instructors are amazing! Definitely going to keep coming back :)

Formula Pilates is an awesome studio with a delicious juice bar all in one. The classes are consistently challenging and give a complete full-body workout while keeping your heart rate up. The instructors are encouraging and helpful. They will motivate you when you want to be challenged but are very knowledgeable in offering alternatives when you are injured, pregnant or just need a lighter workout. I've lost my baby weight with these classes after both pregnancies and it's completely changed my body. And there's nothing better than following up a workout with a healthy, tasty and fresh cold pressed juice!

I've been a member at Formula for a year now. I started with a 12x a month membership and loved it so much that now I'm unlimited. For me, the only results I've seen with a workout is from taking the classes here at Formula. One of the owners, Jasmine, teaches several of the classes and is just fabulous. You will be pushed out of your comfort zone but also offered variations if you are injured or just having an off day, and also if you feel like superwoman (or superman) and just want to work your booty off that day.

All the instructors here are wonderful and they really cater to each individual client. You get a lot of personal attention in comparison to other pilates studios I've tried.

If you're new try a Flow class first, then move up to the real deal. Wednesdays are "weights Wednesdays" and you will be a little extra push. The jumpboard class is also great.

The juice bar just keeps getting better. Not only are there cold pressed juices and tonics but also chia pudding and healthy macaroons. If you are not feeling 100% or have a cold coming on, just ask the juice bar to help you. They are wonderful and happy, love. Some of my favorites are the Rosy Cheeks, Going Gone Green, Almond and Cashew Mylk. I also love the Palm Springs smoothie (green). I take a Knockout shot whenever I am not fe

I have been coming here for the past 2 months (3-5 times a week) and can already see results. My pants are looser, especially around the waist and thighs. After every workout, I feel sore and energized. This is a different feeling from working out in the gym. The class is always challenging and the instructors are very helpful. They will tell you how to make the exercises harder or easier so that you can go at your own pace. I look forward to working out here every morning.

Formula is LITERALLY the BEST workout and studio I have ever been to and I will never go anywhere else again!!! They have the best teachers, best workout, best juices, cute clothes!! I have seen changes in my body that I haven't seen before and everyone that sees me makes comment about it. I have tried all different types of workouts as well as other studios and did not see even close to the same results. A huge plus for me is the time goes by so fast and I actually look forward to coming to class! Which has never been the case my entire life!!! They target EVERY muscle and all the teachers are amazing!!!!! It is a full body work out and they incorporate weights, barre and cardio into the class. For beginners they also tell you how to make the exercise easier until you are stronger and can do the advanced moves. Every level will feel so comfortable here and it doesn't matter what level you are at. I LOVE love the owner Jasmine...Jamie, Natalia and Genevieve are so amazing, motiviating and helpful as well. You feel very comfortable there and even the group classes feel like you are getting private session.

I have done pilates for a few years and keep coming back to Jasmine. She is very knowledgeable about the body, formulates different exercises that are custom to what you want to target and really cares about helping her students reach their goals and the longevity of their bodies. I highly recommend her studio and all the variations of classes! I have not found a workout that tones your body from head to toe like this one. The juice bar is such an amazing perk too! There is nothing like leaving a class after a great workout and being able to restore your body with nutrients from all the options they offer. Don't miss out!!!

I have only been to formula for the last two weeks, but can say in that time that I am addicted to this studio and will not go elsewhere! I am a huge fan of Pilates and have even gotten certified to learn more about the proper ways to perform each exercise. I can say without a doubt that all the trainers are properly trained and very knowledgable! Not only is this a great place to get a sweat going, it's a fun approach on Pilates while still incorporating classical Pilates. I love every minute and really feel it deeeeeep down!
The fresh pressed juice bar is just an added huge bonus to this fantastic Pilates studio. The juices are delicious and there is a huge range of drinks to choose from. The owners have really done their research and take pride in living the life they so effortlessly display day after day. The decor is gorgeous and fresh and makes u wanna work out. If you want to sweat and literally feel the burn, then get your buns here stat. Jasmine has created a studio filled with fun music and high intensity workouts. It's a effective mix of weights, cardio and hyped-up pilates on a custom reformer. Jasmine always calls out the modifications so beginners like me can safely perform the movements. She is constantly moving throughout the (always packed) class and correcting our form. She is a real professional and does not let our form slip, because that's when we could get hurt. On top of that she's a class act. She remembers your name, even if only seeing you once or twice. What else can I say? Love. Love. Love.

These work-outs are killer! I only took flow classes and they were supposed to be the "easy" ones. But each class worked me insanely hard and left me feeling great but sore afterwards. oh the quest for the perfect workout!

having started doing pilates in 2011, i've been nothing short of obsessed! it is the perfect blend of strength training, muscle toning/lengthening, and cardio.

and in this climate of flash-in-the-pan studios (and boxes), jasmine and her team of fitness enthusiasts do NOT disappoint!!

these springs are hard, but after 50 minutes, i walk away having experienced the most intense pilates workout.

the method is a unique blend of spx and jasmine's own brand of CRAZY sure to leave your machine soaked! (good thing there are plenty of wipes and spray bottles to help)

i love the convenience of having a juice bar part of it. especially knowing the importance of having a recovery drink as soon as you finish your work out.

the studio is CLEAN, staff is friendly, and the machines are in impeccable condition!

another interesting element is the instructors rotate in the schedule. it's a good way to keep things fresh especially when you only really have time to take a 6am.

and unlike studios, jasmine is always present and always available! anytime you need fitness/health tips or an encouraging chat, she's always available and always puts the clients first.

i definitely love being part of the formu+la family. it's an investment for sure, but oh so worth it.

I've tried a few Pilates studios prior to joining Formula one year ago. The teachers are so knowledgable and really give individual attention. I work out at Formula 3-5 days/week, and the workouts are always unique and machines are extremely challenging, and I always walk away feeling accomplished. Fast forward a few hours later, and I am usually sore - in a good way! Jasmine, Heather, Genevieve, and Jamie are phenomenal instructors. They are kind, caring, and really know their stuff.

I participated in the Winter Workshop. I lost 6.7 pounds and went down 2 sizes in 14 days. The Workshop Plan was laid out very clearly, and was easy to follow. I loved the menu suggestions and never felt hungry. It was comforting knowing I was going through the workshop with other members dedicated to improving their health. Hearing about everyone's results was truly inspiring! Looking forward to participating in the Summer Workshop in June.

I came to Formula Pilates & Juice via Groupon and quickly became addicted. The classes are 50 minutes and are very intense, so you get an ass kicking workout in minimal time. Since February, I have certainly noticed a change in my body (abs/booty/arms...pretty much everywhere). The instructors are all different and provide different styles. The music is always super fun and energizing. I LOVE the svelte bar classes by Stefania. They are so fun and always involve a bit of salsa or dancing. I always love a challenge and this studio will definitely provide that by bringing your muscles to the point of fatigue, which creates change. No class is easy and although the moves become familiar, I wouldn't say it gets "easier." The juice bar is top notch and the ingredients are super fresh. They obviously know what they are doing. I went for the monthly unlimited and its definitely been worth every penny.

I've always wanted to sign up for a pilates class and was able to try Formula after they offered a Groupon. Who knew after finishing the class dripping sweat and could barely drive home because my arms and legs were shaking that I would actually WANT to go back. But I absolutely LOVE this studio and the way these classes challenge my body. I really have seen a complete transformation as these classes literally work every muscle. The teachers are really amazing and all very positive. I love Formula Pilates. The workouts and all the instructors are great and make you sweat. The juices taste amazing and are convenient to pick up after a class. I have been dying to try out pilates and finally did so for the first time at Formula. I am officially hooked and plan to continue with the classes on a regular basis. I have been to 3 of their FLOW classes which were perfect for a beginner like me. It is a little intimidating at first, but the instructors took their time to make sure I was doing the movements correctly and that I got a good work out. The atmosphere totally rocks, you will get an amazing work-out every time- you will have fun doing it- and there's healthy veggie juice ready and available for you when you're done. I've been doing pilates for a few years now. I took Jasmine's class at a prior studio, and she was my favorite instructor. I was thrilled when I found out she was opening her own studio. Formula pilates is fabulous - the teachers are great, the machines are challenging, and I am ALWAYS sore in all the right places. I highly recommend this studio for a great workout. It is the perfect complement to my cardio routine.

The juice bar is amazing. I've tried almost all of the juices and shakes here. The mint chip tastes like dessert, the protein shakes are delicious and filling, and they always have specials on juices and provide samples. It is a great one-stop-shop for a workout and a meal/juice.

I have also found the studio to be fair and reasonably priced. They have more flexible pricing and package options than most other studios. I like that they offer a 2x/week, 3x/week and unlimited - it totally works for me.

New to the area and purchased a few different reformer pilates groupons to check out the differences and experience the studios. By far this is my #1 favorite studio of all-time. I love the energy, bright vibe when you walk in, clean and beautiful machines, amazing juice bar for a pre and/or post working refreshment... I have been able to go 6 days a week and loving the results. it's a great studio, the location is great with plenty of parking, and the plus of my workout is I can juice with healthy organic vegetables after right there at the studio.

I have been taking classes here for 10 months and workout here 3-4 times/week. I love the variety of the classes (Body Pilates, Svelte, Flow, Jump Board) and every instructor is fantastic. There is a welcoming and fun vibe here and everyone is so supportive to help you get in the best shape of your life. I have convinced my husband to workout here 2-3 times a week too. You can also bring your children (Age 4 and up) if needed to draw on the chalkboard, read, or watch their parents workout - which helps out this busy mom! The juices and smoothies, fun events, 3-5 day juice cleanses all keep you motivated too! My favorite is the Palm Springs Green Smoothie. Stop on by, sweat a bit and try out a class and something from the juice bar!

Formula Pilates + Juice is hands down my favorite work out! (And I consider myself somewhat of a work out snob - if I don't feel like I'm going to die, it isn't a good enough workout!) Rest assured, Formula delivers with the most amazing 'body lengthening & leaning' reformer classes to the tastiest juices. Classes are conducted in such a manner that everyone, regardless of skill level, get the attention needed and the workout the wanted! And if you've considered trying a juice cleanse - try Formula's. Seriously. I never thought I'd be bummed that a cleanse was over, they're that good.

Bottom line - this place is amazing, the people are amazing and best of all, your body will be amazing!

I have been intimidated as a guy to try pilates but I stopped in for cold pressed juice and realized that this was a perfect atmosphere for me to try. I signed up for an intro package and showed up bright and early on a Wednesday morning and got my butt kicked. I loved it. The music, the energy and Jasmine the instructor were amazing. There were a few more guys in the class and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I am hooked. After the class they prepared a small taste of pressed juice to revitalize me and send me away ready for the day. I highly recommend it.
