I will never sign up for a class at this location again. I showed up two minutes late because parking is terrible and they locked the door.

I’ve had mixed experiences coming to this studio, but overall I’m feeling a little let down. I’ve been a CPY member for two years in studios across Oregon and CA, and there are a few issues I’ve noticed with this studio in particular:
To confirm the other reviews, parking is confusing—but there is limited parking in the valet lot adjacent to the building (look for the CPY stickers).
A few of the teachers could benefit from more experience with the practice. In one class, chaturanga kept being referred to a bit dismissively as “chatta”. In sculpt, many of the instructors can’t or won’t count to the music, which then turns the music into more of a distraction than a way to focus. I’m coming here to learn, improve my discipline, and get stronger, and it would be helpful if the instructors were setting a better example. At the same time, I have attended a few classes where the instructors are doing that, but now if I’m signing up for class from someone I don’t know, it always feels like a big gamble.
And last I think the studio could do a better job making the environment feel like a place for practice and community. I have come to multiple classes (almost half the time actually) where people are on their phones and watches—even playing videos out loud before class starts.
Thanks for considering the feedback!

Do better.
Someone stole my expensive Alo yoga mat during a class with only four people. I followed up multiple times, returned the wrong mat left behind, and got absolutely no help. Staff was careless, unresponsive, and dismissive. This happened in your studio, under your watch. No resolution, no accountability. Totally unacceptable.

The two teachers I've experienced at this location have both been great! The heat is half the challenge for me, still undecided whether hot yoga is for me, kind of wish warm yoga was a thing! Really appreciate the community classes CorePower Yoga offers. ♡♡♡♡ The facilities could use some upkeep/maintenance though... the dispenser of cleaning wipes in the studio was empty, the trash bin full (of wipes lol), the showers are not the cleanest and have inconsistent/poor water pressure i.e. seems that the showerhead needs either to be cleaned or repaired.

This is a great location to workout - with ample space in the classes and dressing room. Apparently they’re adding a new class soon which will provide even more variety. The staff is welcoming and Paulina must be one of the top three teachers in all of Los Angeles. A great spot overall!

I’m so disappointed. I arrived just 3 minutes late, the door was locked and no one was there to let me in. The instructor Sarah Y showed up 20 minutes later, I explained that I missed her class, so I am gonna join the next class in 40 minutes, and she simply said no, advising me to wait for the next class instructor. she shut the door in my face and left. I ended up waiting outside for another 30 minutes until someone finally opened the door for me.
I’ve been to so many locations where everyone is so nice, friendly and helpful. I won’t be coming back at all.

I love taking classes at Core Power and have had positive experiences at other locations. That said, where is the parking for this studio? So unclear. Tried calling to ask, but was put through to a recorded message at the corporate Denver call center :-/ Missed class - huge bummer! Would recommend trying another location!

I've had an incredible experience at CorePower Yoga BG. The classes are not only invigorating but also transformative. The instructors are knowledgeable and passionate, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. The sculpt classes, in particular, are a fantastic way to challenge yourself both mentally and physically. The studio is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I also want to give a shoutout to Orlando, the manager, who goes above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. Highly recommend this place for your yoga journey!" 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is so unbelievable. Signed up for a 7:15am class and no one is here and the studio is closed. There's at least 7 people here waiting to go to class and we're all out here waiting in the cold. The Beverly Grove location is new and trying to bring in clients and this is NOT the way to do it. The teacher I was supposed to take this morning at the Beverly Grove, her name is Natalie 7:15am. You need to do something about her because accordingly to others that are waiting here with me, have mentioned she's been late or a no show several other times too.
Poor service and unbelievable. It's been 20 mins and she's still not here. This is ridiculous.

I am excited for this new Beverly Grove location to be finally open! It’s in the perfect central area on Wilshire with very easy parking and friendly stuff. All the amenities are brand new and shiny! I will be going regularly and hope to see you all there!

This is a great new location on Wilshire by Carthay Circle that is easily accessible with plenty of parking options. The studio has a nice layout with retail and lockers in the lobby, plus more lockers and showers in the changing rooms. Five stars for the wonderful staff and instructors that have made this a welcoming oasis since the first day they opened.

First and foremost, Beverly Grove has a super kind and welcoming staff. The studio is brand new and beautiful! I'm sure there will be typical growing pains that come with the adjustment of a new place, staff, and schedule, but I feel really good about this studio and I'm stoked to become a regular. Congratulations on the opening, BG!
