Great instructors, great classes. The hot classes are perfectly heated. Just remember to bring towels and mat, if not they do rent it out for a fee.

Great central location with great Yoga practitioners. The sequencing isn't always quite sequential as I prefer but the flows are still great and well coordinated. You can expect the same sequencing some weeks which can be great at times as our human selves do appreciate things that are familiar.

I generally prefer slower gentle flows and this location meets somewhere in the middle with that which has worked out. Studio is heated but not too hot like some heated Yoga locations.

Hence the name, the studio does focus on the core area for part of the workout which is great as I think the core is an essential that is often overlooked. Besides this studio I've also enjoyed Boheme studio in DTLA and some other gym studios and wellness sessions offered by the locality.

Overall, good central location with great teachers. Would recommend and they do accept HSA (and FSA?) which is a nice bonus. Invest in yourself it's worth it.

They have decided to let their exterior go to hell. Some of this is new. Some of it is old. But if they don't care about their exterior, I can only imagine what the interior looks like.

Every other business on this street takes care of their street scape but this one which makes you wonder about the interior. Their sign has been flashing/dying for months, they never cleaned up their windows and there is just a general lack of care to their appearance. I wouldn't go to a place that primarily needs to be hygienic that looks like this.

I have been going to corepower to help with PTSD. I had an instructor, while signing me in , was chatting with another instructor that she does not want to be at corepower nor wants to teach the class this morning and the other instructor concurred. It was very disappointing that instead of a meditative environment focused on wellbeing, I was greeted with the opposite before and after the class. I have rated this a three because I have been to other locations before and they have been more welcoming. I hope next time I visit the downtown if at all, they have more encouraging instructors.

One of the worst workout experiences I have had. The sculpt class I took was extremely awkward. There was very little cues, no rhythm to the class. The instructor was monotone, low energy, seemed like a robot. The instructor wandered around the class, clapping off beat and seemed lost. The flows were clunky and seemed like she was always searching for what to say next. The music did not match the tone of the exercise we were doing. Needs a lot more practice at saying cues and working through the rhythm and energy of the class…. This was not even the worst of it… The studio was extremely dirty (which I have to say not many LA corepowers are very clean) but this was especially gross. The studio itself smelled like urine. Then in the women’s bathroom both toilets were out of order and the bathroom was a mess. Not to mention there were men working in the bathroom so if you wanted to change you had to just pull the shower curtain over with them in there trying to fix the toilet. I feel like if there are no working facilities probably a sign to just close the studio for the day and get things in order. I will never ever come back to this studio. I have taken hundreds of workout classes in my life and this was one of my worst experiences.

I love it here. They have a military discount for active and veterans which is incredible as yoga has been shown to help tremendously in recovery for TBIs, the facility is so clean, and I have not had a single teacher who wasn’t professional, clear with their cues/instructions, attentive to their students, and incredibly friendly. Just overall sets the bar far above others (:

This week marks my 3 week as a student with CorePower and I am loving it more and more each class. (I take yoga sculpt). I feel myself getting stronger & more flexible. Loving the DTLA location for how clean it is and the free/convenient parking. Polina has welcomed me with an open heart and the kindest energy!

Super glad I found this place. I’m just getting into yoga (only done it a handful of times before) and I’m a little taken aback by how welcoming the teachers are…. Welcoming like I’ve never experienced before. My first class was here was C2 with Amy, I made a mistake and showed up at the wrong place for my next visit and Sydney was incredibly patient and kind in helping me figure out the schedule/class types, and I just finished a HPF class with Ken. The actual yoga class is amazing but there’s a whole separate appreciation for the culture of this place. This is what I needed in my life and I’m really glad I found it!

Teachers aren’t really engaged and most of them aren’t leveled to the appropriate classes. Tried different corepower studios and the DT location is really bad - classes are limited, teachers cancel last minute and the vibes aren’t it.

I booked a 4pm class on 6/27/2024 at 4pm, and waited at the studio from 3:40pm-4:15pm but no staff was around. The teacher no-showed and the studio was locked. This left me and 6 other students who had booked the class stranded. Worst of all, it wasted all of our time. We called CorePower for assistance and they did not try to follow-up or make this right at all.

Took the C1 class with Kayla yesterday. Was looking for a relaxing no heat class, it feels like everyone ONLY does heated Yoga now and forgot about non hot yoga…sometimes your body just craves a less intense yoga experience 🤷🏻‍♀️ and she most certainly delivered! The playlist she had was also great, just what I needed for my day of self care and renewal. Thank you!

I recently took classes at this studio. All of the instructors did a great job of incorporating a wide mix of moves, and provided appropriate challenges and alternatives for everyone in the class. Particularly great were Ken and Olivia. Highly recommend attending this studio and their classes!

I know how important reviews good or bad can be for any business being that I work in the fitness industry's upper management level. I have been to this studio twice and each time the experience has been great. My first visit to the studio instructor gave me a quick tour of the studio and informed me what I needed. I come from studios that have all the thrills like huge lounges, locker rooms, modern features etc. But I enjoyed how this studio was to the point and focus on the class. I was not expecting it to be a heated class but I was able to complete the 45 min. Today I did a C1 class with Ken J, I thought it would have been too much of a challenge but I was very wrong. Great instructor, funny and helpful with correcting the form as needed. Defiently will try his classes again and C2.

Overall, I love corepower yoga. It has been very beneficial to me in terms of emotional regulation, resilience, and mindfulness. However a concern I have is with Ken J. At the beginning of the class he asks to raise your hand if you don’t want to be touched and on two occasions, I have raised my hand and on two occasions I have been touched anyway. It put me on edge and was triggering for me. In addition, in the most recent class yesterday, he spoke about how we should thank our abusers for the things they’ve done to us. In addition, he was talking poorly and in a judgemental manner about a member who had tight hips, but doesn’t stretch on a regular basis. Yoga class is meant to be a “safe” space where we can feel comfortable. I do not feel this way when I’m in a class with Ken J and I won’t be returning to his class again.

I was in town for work and took two classes at this studio. The instructors (Asia and Conor) were awesome and very welcoming. I liked the studio a lot and the classes were creative and just the right level of challenge.

Ken and Aisha are both wonderful instructors! I'm an out of towner, but will definitely be scheduling my classes here when back in LA. Loved both of their challenging classes and their vibes!
