I’ve practiced at many CorePower locations and love what the brand stands for, but this studio feels completely unsafe and unprofessional.

The first time I came in, another student’s wallet was stolen during class. Her cards were being charged while we were still in the studio. The locker area is supposed to be secure and only staff have access — which makes the whole situation feel suspicious and like they are in on it. The staff laughed about it and didn’t take it seriously, showing zero accountability.

The second time, in Julie B’s class, the instructor singled out a Latino LGBT student for “breathing too loud,” even though other students (including myself) were just as audible. It came across as bullying, discriminatory, and completely against CorePower’s values.

Julie didn’t demonstrate proper technique, offered little guidance, and seemed more focused on gossiping and showing off to a group of regulars than on actually teaching. The lack of professionalism, training, and inclusivity was alarming.

This studio has serious cultural and ethical issues that go far beyond one bad class — it’s an unsafe, cliquey, and hostile environment that does not represent what CorePower stands for. I truly hope corporate investigates and retrains this team before more students are driven away.

I absolutely love this studio! Having been to many corepower facilities in a few different states and cities, I can easily say the Encinitas crew is my favorite. All of the instructors are super knowledgeable, professional, friendly and personable, and the vibe here is unmatched! Been coming here for two years and counting, I highly recommend becoming part of the CorePower community :)

So unaccommodating. I was 2 minutes late to a class, they locked the door, and paid an additional $31 fee to miss this class I already paid for. Terrible customer service.

Workout is good but I had a instructor that was so rude that I will not be back. I pay $160 a month to go there and have been a long time customer and my mom had a stroke and god forbid I have a family member text me and I respond and she chastises me . I get your teaching your workout is important and that may bug you and most stuff can wait but life happens and I can’t help when I get an urgent message and for what I pay per month I should be able to answer without getting chastised . I hope you never have a life emergency during a workout .

The studio is clean, the woman I have encountered working at the front desk are always very friendly and I love the number of class time options. I haven't purchased any activewear yet but it is tempting because there are the cutest styles. Camerine teaches a great Sunday class in Encinitas- I'm hooked!

In town visiting for a week and this studio renewed my faith in CorePower. Loved Claire’s class. She’s incredibly down to earth and humble / real. Brooke’s class was very challenging in the best way, without moving us too fast. I only took one class that didn’t meet expectations. Highly recommend.

Well organized, good facilities, prompt sessions, good online presence for scheduling, so far excellent teachers/guides.
I've only taken the entry level C1 class which features a nearly aerobic level rapid cycling of poses. I like it. Only one very minor negative in one of the three classes I've taken so far - I used a corepower yoga mat that had been washed (great!) recently and it was rolled up soaking wet - it would have been unusable had I not brought a towel. Other than that, I'd prefer it not be so warm in the room - it's not "hot", probably low 80s - and I can tolerate it, but given the amount I sweat it makes the yoga more difficult than it needs to be for me. So far the three guides/teachers have all been excellent. Class was not too crowded so there was good space. There were a few other men. (I'm used to being the only one or one of two) I'm looking forward to going back.

I have been going to Core Power Yoga for over 4 years collectively now and love having one so close to my home in Encinitas. The studio is always so clean, the instructors are amazing- friendly, fun and definitely give you a hard work out! It is a part of my daily routine and is something I don’t ever cancel or miss. Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves yoga - but wants a challenge- mentally and physically.

LOVE this studio! I have been to several studios in the Encinitas area, and no other studio compares to CP.

The staff and instructors here are highly trained and always friendly--which goes a long way for me. They make every effort to keep their schedule, and classes are hardly ever cancelled. Great network, music selection is fun for each class and the studio is meticulously maintained. I would highly recommend CP Encinitas to anyone looking for hot yoga at a really nice and clean studio in the area!

First and foremost, Cici does a wonderful job of running the studio. Her energy creates a vibe that is very welcoming and seems to unite everyone who walks in the door, instructors and students alike. The studio just had a new thermometer put in, which seems to allow instructors to increase the heat and humidity in the classes. This is something that I felt could have been improved on in the past as I've actually gotten cold in classes that aren't heated enough. The selection of class times between this studio and the the Del Mar studio are also really important to me. There are teachers that push you in more active classes and others that slow it down, so try a bunch and then you know what classes/instructors to take when your body needs something specific. I would highly recommend this studio.

Love this studio and all of the instructors. Hot yoga isn't for everyone so luckily there are classes here for beginners and even super advanced yogis. They have great workshops, the studio is extremely clean and all of the instructors are expertly trained and absolutely love teaching and practicing. The HPF is class is perfect if you really want to sweat all of your toxins out, C2 is great for intermediate yogis and sculpt is great for those who want to incorporate weights into their flow.
